I am a student there and some people say that the owner (Mrs. Meiying) is very mean but actually she is very nice. Every Chinese New Year she give a red packet of two dollars to every student. They have color pencil, watercolor, painting, marker, pen drawing, oil painting, sketch, still life. they also have summer programs during the summer. The teachers are very nice they are very helpful. Sometimes they will guide you when you are given a more difficult drawing. from my experience I started when I was 6 i started at painting and sometimes I would do sketches and color pencil drawings. when i was ten I started to do oil paintings and more complicated stuff. and now im 11 and recently I just finished my first pen drawing. So overall I would really recomend someone who is really interested in art to go there.

If you want to learn from the basic or, if you have to prepare your portfolio, Meiying studio is the best place for you to go ! They are professional and skillful, they teach both kids and adult, you can try different material of drawing every time.

The teachers draw basically your entire picture if you ask for help. Horrible experience. But it was ok.
