Its been a blast for the kids for over 10 years. Library next door breaks it up and changes it up. A great community gathering place -you almost always see someone you know.

Park surrounding Rec Center is HUGE. Very nice dog park area. Several basketball courts, baseball diamonds, tennis courts, even a putting green. Definitely worth checking out, if in the area.

I love the park. It is the best place to hit a golf ball, play catch or just hang out. I love to go down and kick a ball around. I suggest it to any one who wants to go to a nice open space. It also has a great library if you are in the mood for a book.

Nice playground. One of the first to be converted to the modern soft surfaces instead of all sand, and it shows its age. Good mix of apparatus for different ages.

The parking usually serious not enough. Near there are apartment style single houses. That will be worse for parking.

The place was built as park Funston. It is not the same park. But the people managing it are faced with ginormous challenge.

Its a park with a large grass field. Lots of activity and traffic both from park personell and locals as well as not so local folksFocused on little league and softball leagues.Allways fun to visit and encourage young people.Try to inspire them for their journey into grown up life that we all know is not as fun at all

Good baseball fields but #2s seating is iffy and clean up and fixing would be nice. #4 is pretty good but the bleachers sometimes have glass and are junky cuz of homeless. Other than that, good field #4 is

In addition to the baseball fields, there are a couple of decent tennis courts that you can find drop-in tennis on weekends. There are also some golf swing cages.

There are 2 sets of tennis courts. Almost every morning a group of retirees play doubles. They are very friendly and welcome in new players on the regular. The courts are in the process of being refinished as well.
