Fun place for kids to hang out to play basketball.The day I was at the Rec Center, there was a Holiday Party for 300 school kids from Gordon J. Lau Elementary School. Santa came to pass out goodies. Lots of arts and craft projects and games for the kids.An after party for the volunteers when it was over.

Honestly there’s never volley I’ve been here three times and could never play volleyball Bc of the time and I came today and they said it’s cancelled!!!!!!!

This place is amazing, I wish I found out about it sooner. There is free basketball, volleyball, badminton, pingpong and even a Small workout area with all the essential machines. People here are very friendly and helpful, there are schedules posted for even more activities, so come in check it out and have fun!!!

Great place for the family. Playground is clean, spacious and in perfect working order. Bathrooms are clean. Staff is friendly. The weight room has a bench and Smith machine with plenty of plates for a good workout.

This city-run rec facility is clean, new, and free. The indoor basketball court is well maintained and always has pickup games. There are definitely cliques and regulars on the court, but everyone is fair and if you are patient you will be able to play. Winner holds the court.

Best free workout space

Playground is nice and new and shiny, but only open when the center is open (not Sunday or Monday). Not much shade and all rubber turf and buildings so it can get pretty hot. L-shape can make it hard to keep track of kids. Restrooms. Teenage hangout too.

Great place for causal pick up games.

Its the only consistent place to find fullcourt pickup games in the city that has decent competition. Every Thursday & Friday. Lots...of arguing about who has next and who was here before who. They run the width of the court, which is weird and if fast break, cherry picking cheating baskteball isnt your game, then dont go. Every once in a while, well get a good group running on the other side, but the cliques eventually swindle through when the competition level switches and cause the same problems about who has next and such. Just play with your friends at an outdoor court.
