Just back from a Cuba night at Little Monroe with really excellent food and music. The owners 94-year old artist mother holds court in a high-backed armchair, her work hung on the walls. A great hangout offering a space for progressive events coupled with diversity in the old Mission tradition.

Awesome spot! Came here for the first time for a wedding and was not disappointed. Excellent drinks and a really fun dancefloor.

Great music and really fun! A lot of throwback songs. There are 2 bars and an outdoor seating area. The outdoor area is a nice touch and a good place to get some air since it gets very hot inside. They also try to cool down the place with a couple of fans.

I love this place. The food is fantastic as are the drinks. If you are adventurous, this is the place for you. After youve eaten your fill and had several hibiscus or ginger drinks, take your half drunk self around the corner to Little Bissap. You can either become completely drunk or sweat out your drunkeness by dancing up a storm to African music.

Great place to hangout, music is generic, happy hour prices are very interesting, its by the hour!

Great drinks. Subpar DJ. Their bar tenders are incredibly friendly, even when theyre busy, and theyre very competent. All the drinks I tried were made to standard or better. The reason Im leaving two stars: the music was too painfully loud for me to stick around. DJ decided not to turn it down after I asked. I saw two other people with the same request get shot down. I dont think Ill be back.

I attended a fundraiser here and it is a nice venue with outdoor and indoor seating. Theres also space for dancing, congregating, food, drink bar and a music booth. It could feel a little bit too cozy depending on the amount of people in the venue, but otherwise, its at a nice location for holding different types of events.

Security is a bit aggressive at times. I saw them run after a guy who had already left last night and tackle him.Great bartenders, DJ, and clientele though.

Monroe is a good club with mainstream music. Pricing is quite fair, we paid 5$ entry and you get a stamp so you can re-enter if you leave.There are always plenty of people on the weekends, in- and outside of the club. The club itself is relatively small but there is a separate room for smokers where you can also sit on couches which is quite nice.Officially this club is for 21+ but apparently the security guards arent that good at reading so theres a small chance that you can get in by showing a random ID.

Great spot to have a fun. They do a proper late late night too. People were nice, and the music was good (from what I remember, lol)

Great club in San Francisco! I recommend VIP booth and bottle service(plus vip gets you front of the line and no waiting at the door)The line at the door is huge so make VIP reservations and bottle service. The customer service is great. Security are fairly polite and professional. The club is neat with great music. I highly recommend this club. The only down is the quality of their sound system is lacking. Everything else is great.

I was there for the quiet disco party and really liked the place. Although the space is super small but the atmosphere is very good. It was so much fun. Would go there again.

Best time ever! It was my Bday celebration and we did bottle service, amazing service from the beginning till the end. And they serve free tacos and they were yummy!! The crowd were in there 30s which I liked and the dance floor is huge and roomy. The dancers were amazin!

Awesome place! I always have a good time here and the owner is really nice and understanding. The Bouncers are also really nice to talk to. The drinks are great and really Checp during battle of the bands.

Dance floor is packed. Music is great.

Not a bad bar and can get pretty busy on Friday/Saturday nights. Was really off-putting when then bouncer at the door told us to follow them on Instagram for free cover. Pretty sleazy if ya ask me.

Best after-hours.. Good music, lots of drugs and Lots of strippers going after work.. Its open on Sunday from 6 to 12 in the morning of course.

Its by union square so you can park in that parking lotthe door to this place is in an ally way, and the ally didnt look scary at allonce you walk in there is a small bar area which i learn to love at the end of the night because when you meet someone and you want to get to know them, the upstair area is the place you can get to know them better without yelling at them or leaving the club.the downstair area... they pack in people for surethe music is loud as you would expect from a night clubthe drinks were pretty goodthere was array of different type of music but mostly hip hop stuff you hear on the radio

Good decor, more than sufficient sound system, average bar selection. Overall we had a great time once things got rolling around 11pm. Door guy and other staff seemed to be nice.

Very rude staff. Security unzip my jacket that i have barely visible white shirt underneath. I agreed to take off white shirt and just leave very thin jacket. He still refused to let me in. ridiculous!

Douche bartender had to give me attitude about ordering wild turkey saying we arent that kind of bar when they serve Fireball. So youre that kind of bar.

Battle of the Bands happy hour is cheap but drinks are really weak.
