Ive been here a few times now for lunch and dinner and love everything they serve. The food is delicious and the cocktails are really good. Dinner can get pricey, but the flavor and the quality of the food justifies the price. I havent been to their rooftop bar yet, but walked up there to quickly check it out and looks like a great place for happy hour!

Normally I dont like going to clubs but Ive always been intrigued by Booties concept of a club full of mashups. A mashup is when they layer one songs vocals over another songs instrumental. You can just imagine what kind of interesting combinations get played here.

Bravo to the success this restaurant has, I give many thanks to the wonderful meal I was privileged to enjoy. Everything about my experience here was over the top amazing! From the service that never slipped on timing and attentiveness, to the beautiful dishes the cooks prepared, I was completely satisfied in every way possible!I didnt know it till they came to my table but the soda isnt regular Coke and Sprite brands, its different companies I havent even heard of that use very easy ingredients plus real sugar! They were so good!!All of us ended having the Refugee chef Dinner, was an easy descision to make. It was a uniquely constructed 3-course meal put together by a refugee chef, and its a meal that is traditionally enjoyed in their country of origin! I was blowing only if I have wonderful that experience was yeah, and for a relatively cheap price from what you would expect! Took definitely all the thinking away from hard descision making, which makes my life easier. And I dont regret that decision at all!!Of course the warm bread I must comment on as well because it was addicting, so nice that our table of four people had a CONSTANT stock of it! Just ask, theyll bring.Wow what a great way to start my night, worth every penny thats for sure. =^_^=

The people working at the door are so unprofessional and unpolite! I asked them to step out for 1 minute to bring my brother back in and they didn’t want to let me back in even though they let other people without even having tickets! Then to top it off when I kindly asked why are you letting other people in and not me , they started acting racist and they even pushed me out of the venue and started cursing on me and pushing me! I even have videos taken of the girl that was pushing me and the other security guys! What an awful experience!Oh and I’m suing you guys for the unfair treatment .. !

My experience at the Mezzanine was a mix of highs and unfortunate lows. The concert we saw was fantastic and made better by the intimate venue. I was however deeply disappointed by the rudeness of the staff. Before the headliner came on stage, the lead stage/production manager came over and yelled at those of us in the front row to inform us that if we put drinks on the edge of the stage he would kick us out. Nobody up front had done anything earlier in the evening to incite this type of reprimanding. I’m fine with people laying down their boundaries and stating house rules. A heads up would have been fine. It wasn’t cool on his part to start off with a threat. There are kinder ways to manage people—and (surprise) they even tend to be more responsive to that method of communication. Admittedly, I could see he was good at his job otherwise. He was attentive and acted quickly when a girl nearby got out of control and needed to be removed by security. On our way out, we were exiting through the double door. One door was closed and there was a whole group of people slowly making their way out. I thought I would try to open the second door to help expedite the process so we could all get home (it was 1:30am).Upon my attempt to open it, one member of the security team slammed the door back on me to the intensity that it threw my body onto the people behind me. Immediately I could hear them yelling about my attempt to open the door. Somebody could have gotten seriously injured if things had gone even a little differently, like someone’s hands slipping along the wall and into the door hinges. They could have easily put a sign on the back of the closed door, asking people that it remain shut while exiting following the concert. They could add a bolt to the top and bottom of the door. Instead, they opted for a semi-dangerous alternative. Ultimately, the staff needs to be contentious of how they interact with customers. They should sincerely reevaluate their practices.

Decent venue with decently priced drinks. Saw two different artists I recently discovered perform here. Atmosphere here is pretty chill as I raged dance during one show and no one hassled my for constantly bumping into them and stepping on their feet. The only downfall of course is the security. I understand its their job to keep a clear pathway so people can move about the venue, but during the second show I was at, I was extremely packed and the security guys kept upping the bass on their voice when telling people to move even though it was virtually impossible.

Came alone to see a favorite DJ, and was a little scared walking a couple of blocks to get to this club since there were numerous sketchy people in this neighborhood. But once inside, I was surprised that although its not a really big space, the sound system was really amazing! The other pluses was that there are several bars inside (which made for shorter lines), and most importantly, lots of stalls in the womens restroom (this is a Huge deal)! Security was really cool and helpful too. Definitely would come back without hesitation.

Just another lame sf venue that oversells tickets. They crowd back to the bar, but you can’t even hear the music at the bar. Plus it’s bright and you can’t see anything.Several people threw up on the floor last time I was there, and there was no room to avoid the puke.Seriously, if awesome venues like Regency and Independent can sell out shows and give their patrons room to dance, so can you. Just charge more for tickets. I would pay more to not have to feel everyone breath on my neck, and not feel vomit splash on my feet. You’re not a real music venue if you don’t give patrons room to dance. Do better.

Possibly the worst venue in San Francisco. Theres a support beam the size of a redwood that obstructs the stage. Its a massive design flaw that needs to be addressed. The crowds are typically aggressive (a fight broke out near me in the middle of the Kim Petras performance I attended). I am unlikely to ever return even if its for an artist I love. This place felt half way between a concert venue and a club, with a stage up front but also bricks of speakers and subs all over the place, so one can enjoy destroying their hearing from all four corners of the room instead of just the front. A venue space that nurtures all different genres of artists and event. There are at least 3 different bars with at least 4 bartenders to lubricate the night. This is most horrible place in San Francisco! Yesterday I went to event and I was attacked by security people who work at Mezzanine for taking a video of the event from the balcony. Apparently I was in VIP zone taking a video. I was immediately escorted out and told I can not enter the event. After pulling my phone out to record the explanation why I was escorted out security people attacked me, dropped me on a ground and started choking me until I passed out! I always have a good time here, and Ive been attending here and there since 2012. The acoustics have worked well for a variety of musical performances that I have attended. Its big enough and has enough of an outdoor smoking area that you can find some space but it does often get very very crowded, especially if they dont open up the top floor. I appreciate that the bartenders serve water, and Ive never had a problem with any of the staff. the large crowd can be the only issue but thats typical of this type of venue. Their drink/coatcheck prices are reasonable, and I never have to wait in line for the bathroom. Rare to find nearby parking, youre better off taking public transportation. Some events include table service but dont expect it depending on the show.
