A nice little museum located in the international terminal in the airport itself. Focused on airlines role in war. Good for kids or those who want to be introduced to the aviation. I wish the books were accessible though. The ladies there are helpful jolly fellas.

Located just before the boarding area, this place offers interesting insight to aviation history. Love the miniature airplanes and displays. Great place to hang out if you have ample time before flight.

In a corner of the International Termimals pre-security region, can find lots of great plane models.

Nice museum, but the books in the library on the second floor are not really accessible to the public and takes at least 30 minutes to get any. My husband asked to look at some and had to talk to 3 people before he could look at any in a conference room. Too difficult to bother. Otherwise nice museum with lots of seating upstairs and two nice restrooms inside.

I personally liked the whole idea of setting up such a well maintained aviation museum inside a world class Airport. The museum takes us to the era of aviation and narrates the story of development in Airline industry with various eye catchy plane idols, information boards and even informative sessions. The place is open to all Airport visitors and is worth sparing a few minutes before your flight from the international Terminal 3 of the #sanfranciscoairport.

Cool scaled models of many planes. Also, a good quiet spot to sit down and read without paying some airline membership; though, they do appreciate donations.

Small and not very interesting unless you want to find an old book in their library upstairs. Models of airliners downstairs are probably the best part. Info on routes for soldiers to Vietnam occupies the other half of the downstairs.

A small but nicely curated space. If you have a bit of time before your flight, pop in there for a few minutes. There are also free standing exhibits spread out throughout the international terminal. The museum also sometimes hosts events. I visited during a Working for SFO workshop and the space accommodated a fair amount of students and job seekers.

Friendly and helpful staff. Wish I could have bought a comprehensive book about its planes and aviation history. Most impressive was the history of the first TransPacific flight.

Very interesting variety of exhibits scattered around the airport! Every time I fly, there is almost a new main exhibit. Certainly something not to miss while going standing on the moving walkway.

A small museum by the International terminal of San Francisco airport departure level just below the air train station. The main attraction is the very large collection of model aircrafts from many eras, which is clearly documented. There isnt very much to see in the museum though. And if one has some spare time waiting for the next flight, this is an excellent place to come to for passing some time.

A neat place that not a lot of people know about. Its pre-security in International Terminal A. Has some scale models, a wide collection of retro flight attendant uniforms, and interesting exhibits on some of SFOs history. Its not very big; you could get through the whole thing in half an hour.
