I grew up going to this place. It was always just so magical. And then to bring my daughter there, it was always a treat and a half.Whenever we would tell the kids that we were going there, they were just squeal with excitement. The people who run it are friendly and welcoming. It takes a lot of work to keep those old things and the games functioning but it is so fascinating to see these things fully operational.Totally magic and worth going to. You’ll be surprised on how awesome it is.

I would like to especially acknowledge the staff for having such positive attitudes on a busy day. I know big crowds and impatient customers can be overwhelming, so I greatly appreciated their professionalism. Joshua, David, Gino and Jamir (I think there was one or two more staff members? Im sorry I didnt catch their names). Either way they all were super friendly and helpful, even with all the long lines and pushing people.

This has always been one of my favorite attractions in San Francisco, and you can have a great time here for just one dollar! And while I preferred it in the old location at the Cliff House this location is much more accessible to the zillions of tourists who visit SF every year. Added some photos of my favorite machines here. Special tip: make sure to flatten a penny in one of the several machines that can emboss a design on it.

Took my youngest for the 1st time, he enjoyed it and wants to go again. Almost everything from my childhood was there(from the Cliff House). My dad took me there when I was his age and I took his oldest brother and sister while it was still at the Cliff House. I took his older brother and sister to the current location when it opened. Tuesday his sister and I took him. My parents went while everything was still at Playland and after it moved up the hill to the Cliff House. Nice to see someone is taking care of everything and it still works.

There is something here for everyone, and the chance to relive your misspent youth. The items are here are all museum pieces, but a museum that you can touch and play. 25cent is the most common price for a go but items such as the photo booth are $3As it’s so reasonable, it’s a great place to take the kids (or big kids) give them $10 each and let them run wild for a couple of hours. My personal favourite is the monkey band.
