Loved it, Loved it, Loved it. My 1st time in San Antonio and I sure wish we had more time to enjoy the city and all that it has to offer for visitors. I will be back for a longer stay next time. I definitely will be back and another boat tour is a must for me

$12 for a 2.5 mile (about 30 min) tour of the river. It was pretty neat. The boat captain told us all about the buildings and riverwalk as we went down the river. There was a decent breeze throughout however it was still pretty hot.I think it was worth the money. Might as well learn about the riverwalk while youre there.

A very beautiful and historic place to visit and the tour is reasonably priced $10-12. They also have other tours for a bit more and they last longer. We took friends visiting out of town to the river walk and they absolutely loved it. Lots of restaurants to choose from as well as coffee shops. I loved it and highly recommend it.

My brother took me here while i was visiting. A cool way to see parts of San Antonio downtown. The tour guide points out very interesting buildings and tells you a lot of history of San Antonio. Plus my guides family had lived there for 6 generations so he mentioned his familys history with the various points which made it seem individualized rare than a canned speech every guide uses.

The price was like $12 i think. The ride was definitely worth it because it takes you around and show you the real beauty of san antonio. A 30 minutes ride with narration is a must if you are visiting San Antonio. I would recommend to take the ride at the evening when its not that hot. Definitely recommended !

A very nice narrated river boat cruise. Our Capt. was knowledgeable of the local history of the river itself and entertaining. Long enough to feel you got your moneys worth but not long enough to be bored. Not expensive. Definitely worth it!

Am
Review №27

The river ride itself is nice. Unfortunately, we wanted to hear more history because we had heard several of the captains telling facts and stories along the route. Our captain did not do that he talked about three buildings and a couple trees and said there were lots of restaurants. So if you want some history and facts watch who you ride with.

Love Go Rio, San Antonio River Tours is a very interesting, and informative tour of the San Antonio River, the history of the river and the development thereof and of all the historic buildings that line the Riverwalk and all the delicious eateries as well.Should you have friends and family visit the Riverwalk boat tour is a must they will thoughroly enjoy the tour, but do it when the weather is pleasant, can be miserable when hot.

As a Texan who has been to San Antonio many times over the years I cant believe Ive never done this before. To see the riverwalk from the river is beautiful. We went during the day, but I bet in the early evening or night is pretty. Since the trees have lights in them. Our captain Aaron was funny and informative.

It is a bit hard to find the start location, so make sure you get a map from the San Antonio Visitors Center across from The Alamo. That is what we did. You can buy your tickets there as well. We went during Spring Break so there was a wait. It was very fun and enjoyable listening to the captain tell you about the history of the Riverwalk. We saw much of the river that we would not have seen if we did not do this tour.

For $12, you get a 35 minute tour. I learned a few things, and you get a view you dont get walking. If you do this on day one of your stay, you will have a better idea of the River Walk layout, as well as the many things youll want to see at a more relaxed pace. I thought it was worth it.

San Antonio river trail itself is a beautiful walking trail with high end hotels and eatries lined on both banks of river. If you take this narrated tour you get to see whole lot of this trail with a beautiful explanation of some of the oldest buildings and stories related to them. A good option to consider after your sumptuous meal on any mexican eatry out there
