Wow my grandmother Ruth woods worked for the Carter , Stumberg, an Zachary families like forever..I remember running around this house we go next door to get buenlos.The other houses too one with alot taxidermy i was terrified of that one lol Beautiful tho..I never knew I was playing in a Historic house Wowzers...Mrs.Carter was always nice to us ...An the Stumberg family looked out for my grandma until the day she passed .. even years after my grandma stopped working for them..

Beautiful home and great history there. The view from the observatory is amazing

Consider posting that you require reservations for tours on your literature. Wasted time and money for parking. Looks like it would be nice to tour but this trip was a disappointment

Well situated historic HOME takes you back in time with original details & contents. Knowledgeable family. Looking forward to future visits.
