Luanne was AMAZING! She was so easy to work with, she was very responsive, and always made me feel like I was her only client. We had an event at the Alamo. She arranged EVERYTHING, down to the heaters needed since it was cooler that night.They gave us multiple options and had everything in the proposal.I cannot say enough good things.Lauren our onsite contact was always available and very helpful.

As a Professional Musician/Entertainer I get to work with many DMCs, Private event companies, event planners, etc. who hire me for their events and while I have to say I have always been treated nicely by most everyone, the two things that stand out about Goen South are their Professionalism and their Teamwork culture.I have witnessed this first hand and have been rather impressed at the level of attention to detail and expectation they have of themselves and by default of anyone who works as a part of their team... the result is a well oiled, very tight and good looking machine. But that would just make it a very efficiently run business, however, in this industry, that isnt enough to be Outstanding!.. you still need to have the People factor, the Human Factor, the I cant believe they did this... Factor and in my opinion, one of the reasons for their success is the fact that they operate with a Family like Culture where everyone is helping each other and my perception is that one of their main goals is not to reach a number or win an award at the end of the year but to earn that Wow, this turned out way better than we could have ever imagined... reaction from their clients.I feel privileged to be able to collaborate and be a part, in a small way, of such a wonderful group of people.If youre looking for a DMC that will deliver on your expectations and then some, youve found it!!

Morris from Goen South Events was highly recommended by the resort I held our 2016 Awards Event. Morris is a miracle worker! You name it and Morris delivered. Everything from; a mariachi band, to models with custom shirts, a jeopardy game, a casino night, even fire dancers. Everyone was blown away with the seamless precision. Morris Goen and his team are remarkable to work with. They are fast with responses, have clean proposals that are easy to read, and are willing to work with budgets as best they can. We had a high profile dinner here at the Hotel Emma that had an odd hollow square set design for dinner. The Goen South team took the look and trunks, lanterns, succulents, and other larger items to fit both the Emma feel and make it feel like a fantastic centerpiece so the void of the hollow square was not noticeable. It was a beautiful look and really wowd the customer.Carlos, Morris designer and florist, is also amazing. I had a wake (last minute of course) and Carlos put together some beautiful and creative yellow flowers with white vessels. They were so subtle but added so much to the room, especially since the person who passed absolutely loved yellow flowers. The pieces were small and delicate and something I would never have thought to purchase.Overall, I love that the Goen South team listens to what I need for any event and will put something together that fits. If its not perfect, we tweak it, and perfection happens.

Goen South recently donated decor for a Studio 54 event hosted to raise funds for Fiesta Cornyation charities. From red carpet, velvet rope & stanchions, fabulous marquis lights, to an uplit bar, disco balls, silver drapery & linen, every detail was accounted for, the staff was professional & courteous and substantial money was raised for Beat AIDS, Thrive Youth Center, and the San Antonio AIDS Foundation. We can’t say enough about how much we enjoy working with the Goen South DMC team & San Antonio DMC, especially when they’re willing to give back in such a generous way to the local community.

We worked with Goen South on a conference we put on in April 2016. Best DMC Ive worked with! Very professional, met all their commitments - and went above and beyond. They came to us with ideas and helped us pull together events for attendees that were great. And - they were there every step of the way - including during the events. And when there were glitches (which there always is something) - they took the lead in sorting things out - being creative at times - and our attendees were non the wiser. I needed a red carpet for a last minute event on a Saturday for that evening. I called Goen South and the owner Morris Goen personally called me back within an hour then met me at his warehouse, so I could pick the style I wanted then he drove it to the location and installed it himself.
