I have been with Avant Agency and Diana for quite sometime now. Ive had many auditions and opportunities. Ive also learned a lot with the programs and workshops offered through the agency. Diana and her staff have been kind and professional on all levels and I cant say that enough. There are lots of great and exciting things happening at the agency right now that I am very happy and grateful to be a part of! I already thought of Avant as a great agency and one of the best in Texasbut honestly I can see even greater possibilities in the future.

I was recently with Avant and this is the reason why I left. When I signed with them I was trying to get back on a TV show me an a fellow actor had issues and I wasn’t sure if the show was going to bring me back for another season. So I went a got representation just in case because I wanted to have a team behind if something like that happened again. After being signed Diana the owner told me to give up on the show because it wasn’t a principal role ( she was only getting 10%). Well I didn’t listen and it payed off in the end the show brought me back for the next season and started to give me more opportunities!!! Since I was starting to work more with the main characters I wanted a pay raise, so I asked Diana if she could assist with that. After I sent her all the information she need to get in contact with them she NEVER sent them a request. She didn’t believe I was actually doing the things I said I was doing on the show. She started down talking me saying I was just and extra and started using my own words against me. I offered her to come to set with me and see what I was doing to give her PROOF that’s pay raise was needed she stated no that she can’t cater to me!! Every time I ask them to do something on my behalf they can’t because I’m not the only one that she works with. Which is true however if she only makes money when I make money that helping me get a pay raise would get her more money too however she couldn’t do that because it’s her catering to me. So long story short if she doesn’t believe in you or she’s not getting her 20% ( which she wasn’t entitled too because she did get that booking for me) than you are of no importance to her she will put you on the back burner and focus on her other talents. I’ve gotten more bookings on my own than with this agency they are very unorganized they send mass auditions to everyone even if you don’t fit their scoops. I would not recommend this agency to anyone not even my worse enemy. Think 3 times before attempting to be represented by them. Again if she (DIANA) doesn’t believe in you than you are on your own and paying her for nothing!!!!

Diana Sneckner and her team are constantly coming up with new way to give actors an opportunity to develop themselves by creating short films and hosting acting classes so we may perfect our craft.
