Scam disguised as a school. 3-4 years of your life are wasted, you’re thousands of dollars in debt, and you still end up working at Starbucks because the ‘degree’ they give you is absolutely worthless. You’ll learn more from watch YouTube videos than you’ll ever get from this ‘school.’

Dont waste your time and effort, go elsewhere. There are many things wrong with this place and lack of communication is one of them. Staff doesnt know how to pick up phone calls or respond to emails. Always busy or helping someone else currently, sure okay. I feel doubtful about that. Is there even anyone working registrar?? Theres a name listed and a voicemail of said name but no one ever picks up or replies back!! There are few instructors that are knowledgeable, helpful, and useful whereas others.. not so much. Location could definitely be better.. anyways dont bother.

I had high hopes for this school but unfortunately that was not the case I applied for admissions to this institution on and off for a few years fast forward to 2020 I applied and tried to submit my high school transcripts then they tell me that I would not be eligible for the art grant and that I would have to do student loans which is ridiculous definitely not applying for this college ever again

This is school is a great place to learn all things creative. Animation, editing, vfx, culinary, it has it all. The people at the offices and financial aid are very helpful, friendly, and kind. Lots of events happen. The teachers are extremely helpful too and quite experienced. The school overall is really good and would definitely recommend to an aspiring artist, animator, or anybody interested in the creative industry.

I love the school it seems very educational however it is very expensive I am second-guessing all the time if I should continue attending but I do want my degree with my photography and I started working at the school which is helpful but it’s hard to keep track of my homework overall it’s an all right school just too expensive.

To be honest, I did enjoy my time here. Everyone was kind, and the students all like-minded, so it was a comfortable place to be. However, I only went there for a little under 2 years and Im in debt over 20k. Any other school I try to transfer my credits wont take them, so all the hard work I did for a great GPA was pointless. Nothing from this school seems to be worth anything to anyone of importance. Now I owe this money for credits I cant even transfer. Time and money wasted. Didnt even learn anything I didnt already know.

And I now currently owe that school $19,000 they told me while I was attending that everything would be covered but $300 a month which was going to student loans well after my time there i now owe $13,000 in student loans and the rest to the school for only God knows what so now they wont give me my transcript till I pay what I owe the school thats just money dont even get me started about classes and instructors that will be to long just know if your thinking about going to this school cause I wanna be a chef or I wanna be a game designer well think somewhere else cause you wont get it here

It’s doesnt even deserve one star. I went here and it was the worst mistake of my life. If you’re going here for coding, web design, or graphic design go to YouTube or Code academy, both completely free and you’ll learn 10x the knowledge and more efficiently. I’m in crazy debt, and having to relearn it the right way through more useful sites. Stay away from this place if you know what’s good for you.

Been going to the school over a year now to this point. My opinion is that its a great school, the classes are small which allows teacher/student instructional assistance. Print lab, library and other student resources are very easy to access. I have seen student (FROM THIS SCHOOL) have jobs before they even graduate. Overall I do recommend this learning establishment despite its costly tuition.

Sorry Google.I attended this school with high hopes of starting over with a job I thought I would love. It ended with a few thousand dollars in debt (I was lied to) and with DEEP REGENT.THE teachers didnt care if I learned anything. Few of them said, this is just for Pocket money. Some of these so-called chefs just gave us a paper & sent us to the library to work on the computers. (If you dont know anything about PCs. No one will teach you) Then the volunteer librarian would have an attitude. The counselor I was assigned to never saw me...why! She was transferred and the new counselor was too busy. After attending 2 months I QUIT. NO ONE CARED. I JUST GoT HIT WITH A BILL. no letter or call wanting to help me. Just a bill. So, go if you want. This is just a fair warning. Looks are deceiving.. I REGRET EVER LOOKING & FINDING THIS PLACE.thank you

I was on the fence of choosing a school that could, at a minimum, meet my needs as a student, a patriot and as a human. I have needs - sometimes they waver on the verge of a German shepherd, and sometimes I feel I could be one of those just add water sponge toys - either way, I still have needs. When beginning to choose a school, I started by deciding what I wanted to major in. The variety was immense. I felt like they offered so much that their intention was for me NOT to be able to decide, the gave me too many options, but I was wrong - I heard through the grapevine that they offered so much, because people want to different things in life. Boy, was I caught by surprise that everyone was not on the same career path as me.Anyway, I went online and submitted my interest in the school, expecting to hear nothing, from no one. I want to say that I was contacted even before I pressed submit, but since it been years since I fell off the back of the turnip truck, I knew that wasnt the logical choice. Occams razors proves that. I must say, it was almost an instant reach out to me, quenching my thirst for my hypothetical liquid knowledge on the school. After reaching out, I was simply amazed by the answers to the questions I came up with: many having nothing to do with anything logical, and certainly nothing with the school. After I got off the phone, slumber enveloped me in its grasp, holding me tight - like a lobster claw grabbing an underwater violin - I was in a deep sleep. I got up from the sofa I fell asleep on, and saw my body lain upon its microfiber plushness.I wondered where I was, naturally, but immediately I found myself happy with my newfound floaty being. I could go through walls, ceilings, floors and garage doors and it was great! I just couldnt go through windows, and I found out the hard way. It didnt hurt me at all, dont get me wrong, but every clear pane of glass I tried to go through caused a swarm of giant wasp to come out from the dirt, attacking the nearest small animal. It was the last time I saw the neighbors cat - not because it died from the wasp attack, but because I ran/flew away in a hurry and the cat jumped back into its car and drove away. After that debacle, I was sure I was going to wake up; but no, I still was able to watch my lifeless body spread out upon those milky white, massive thread count, coarse filaments of the centerpiece of my living room - and during that moment it hit me! I did leave the oven on I thought to myself. so I floated into the kitchen and realized I couldnt turn it off. I gave up, as I do with most things in life, and I tried to go back into my body, to no avail.I heard a voice asking if I was still there, and she apologized for putting me on hold, she answered my question about when classes started with impeccable confidence. I was sold. I wanted in. I began classes next quarter and I still go here. Its entertaining. Many people would look away from going here because its small and personable, the equipment cage can be a hassle at times, and they dont have live tigers roaming the campus; but like my grandmother used to tell me You cant be a detective if you havent snowboarded on both coasts - so all in all, I give it four stars because there is no gym.

This school is a rip off. I went for 3 quarters and quit along with some other students. Apparently, the school has multiple law suits against them from graduated students not able to get jobs from their studied field because they arent legitimate. I was stupid and naive when I first signed up, but I now know 9,000 dollars i too much for a three and a half year course that rushes you through courses so fast, you dont even remember what you learned within the last five minutes. Most of all, this school is so obviously a for profit. They pay no mind to the needs and wants of their students, and only a hand full of professors actually care.

Worts mistake of my life. You come in and they promise you the world a great job after, they briefly talk about the price, they then give you a tour of the school and make you want tongo there fill out your info and then you are in a world of debt. 4 years later you have no job and 80k in loans that you cant pay. Stay away from this school. They are salesmen that take anyone no matter how bad you are as long as they can get money out of you

This is the Career Point of culinary schools in San Antonio, anyone who argues with that just doesnt have anything else to compare it too. In the Fundamentals class, the Chef cut corners and gave people passing grades for the barest minimum of completion. For example, the class is to produce stock for all of the other classes. We only made stock correctly on the first day. Every other day we just threw meat and bones into a pot and poured water over them, at his instruction. Just so he could go outside and smoke. The Chefs and the administration thought this was okay. Several of the teachers come to work high or drunk. One of my teachers even violated my privacy by sharing some of my personal information with one of his friends and it got back to me on Facebook of all places. This school is not top notch. This school is for people who cant cut it at Saint Phillips or CIA. The recruiters just dont tell you that. The curriculum is complete silliness. Its designed to give you passing grade as long as you just do the homework. The department head placed ridiculous questions with no wrong answer on the mid-term like, Are you enjoying this experience?. If you want to pay $60,000 to $70,000 for a worse education then what you get at the ACCD, then this is the place for you.

The school people dream of but everytime i call and get my call transfered to anybody (literally anybody) they never answer. I leave voicemails upon returning my call but never hear anything back. I call for like 3 days straight just for a single question I have. Its pretty ridiculous. School needs better communication service with students.

Im a current student and I like the school and I love doing filming. Ive learned a lot coming to this school that I probably would have taken forever trying to learn on my own. I wish they focused on a few more things as apposed to just telling us to go do stuff and sometimes we have to learn it on ourself. The staff is great and helpful and the building is expanding. I saw someone else post they wish the school had a gym, and I must agree, I wish the school offered more to the students. It would be GREAT if AI offered acting degrees since its slim pickins in San Antonio trying to find Actors. Overall Ive watched this school grow from when it first opened several years ago and they are upgrading and offering more every year so thats always a plus side. Besides little course issues Ive had and wishing there was a bit more, Ai of SA is the ONLY school around my area that comes close to being able to offer me the degree for what I really want to do so I put 4 Stars
