Always a fun trip when I go to Herweck’s. I love the staff because they’re always so helpful and friendly. Even behind the mask you can see a smile. They’ve made my days stuck in doors easier with all the information to do my crafts. Most affordable. Most knowledge.

I love the variety they have of all their vinyl, I like going here when I need something in a hurry, and everyone there is very knowledgeable about the art supplies they sell.

Its been awhile since I last visited this store (college years) but they still have a good selection of art supplies and helpful staff. The only thing thats iffy is the parking. Make sure you carefully read the signs for Herwecks parking and the hours because otherwise you have to pay. Herwecks has their parking against their building with clear signs. Otherwise its a good store with good prices.

Praise whoever decided to open up this shop! This is something that is very hard to find in Texas. This shop has all the charm of an authentic Italian art shop. It was pure heaven stumbling across this. As an artist, it’s so much fun to find a place that has new and innovative art supplies without having to support a corporation that you don’t really agree with. We plan on making more trips to SA just to stop here!The staff are all very sweet. The clientele are also the perfect blend of sophisticated and weird. Everyone is so personable and excited to be there. It was a fabulous experience that I plan on repeating over and over again!Btw - they do offer student discounts! Woooo!!!

If you need art supplies its a wonderful store with free parking. The staff is well trained and know there products.

I been coming here for a while staff have always been amazing but recently I came 2days in a row today & yesterday and the 2 ladys that helped were so rude very disappointed and I went for the same amount of vynil and charged different both times i will have to go elsewhere.

Friendly staff and I found just what I was looking for. I was able to get my vinyl and HTV at a very good price. I was amazed at how inexpensive it is there. I definitely will be going again.

I dont go there very often because there is a vinyl shop near me but they are limited on what they carry. I would also like to say that employees at herwecks where way more pleasant then at the other store. I may have to make the drive just for that reason alone.

It is not that often an accounting major needs art supplies, but from my experiences (which are limited) this is the best art supply place Ive had the pleasure of walking into. Offerings are plentiful and diverse in ranges of quality and pricing.

I stumbled upon Herwecks when searching for local htv, adhesive vinyl and screen printing supplies. They have it all here and more! Its nice to be able to run and pick up a few things instead of ordering online, paying s&h then waiting a week for delivery. Prices are slightly higher, but I feel it evens out because you arent paying s&h and you can get it in the store. You can also do phone orders. Call it in, then pick it up.They do have a few parking spaces on the side of the building that are reserved. The rest of the lot is paid parking, but ask a Herweck employee and theyll give you a parking pass for your car so you dont have to pay.The staff is always welcoming, and knowledgeable. They have a wide variety of art supplies for painting, sketching, calligraphy and more.Thanks for helping me keep my business running with local vendors!

If a store could be a person, this store would be the quintessential artist, black beret and all. They have everything you need to work on your arts huge selection brushes, canvases, vinyl, whatever your medium, they probably have it.

If you craft this is the place to go. Prices are lower than anywhere Ive seen for vinyl and HTV and customer service is amazing! They even have free parking on the side of the building, which is great when shopping downtown.

Dont let the older building fool you. This place is great! My husband and I were looking for unique crafting supplies and this was definitely the place to find them. The people that worked there were so helpful and didnt mind answering all of our questions. They were so informative that we left there feeling great about the new things that we learned. I will definitely go back there anytime I visit San Antonio.

Best place to get screen printing supplies.

As always such a pleasure to go there when I need some kind of art supply from screen printing to paints and color pencils it seems like they always have in stock most if not all art supply needs. Their staff is also well versed in all they sell so your never waiting for someone to find that one guy who knows it all. Their friendly and very courteous. Will always do business with them and recomend them as the source for art supplies.

Our shop is 30 miles away, but when we need something for our business, but cant order it, Herwecks always comes through. Great products, VERY knowledgeable staff and ALWAYS friendly.

This must be one of my favorite places to come to for all my arts and crafts needs. I have a home-based business where i make car decals, t-shirts, cups, hats, signs...Etc. and this place has everything I need from vinyls to heat transfer sheets to the tools I need. This place also sell stuff for painters, sculptures, crafts & many other items.

My wife needed me to grab something from here. Parking is a chore, however the knowledge and politeness of the staff made this an excellent experience for me. This isnt really my world - but they helped me translate what my wife needed and offered helpful advice regarding what i was buying. (Even to the point of discouraging me from buying something i didnt need). A+ staff. Would highly recommend.
