Visiting the Alejandro Sifuentes Gallery, and the other artists that make up the Equinox Gallery, is an amazing adventure!Beautifully located in the scenic La Villita Village in downtown San Antonio, the gallery is housed in a historic building and is beautifully and tastefully done.It appears everything under this roof is handcrafted. From the shelves, displays, amazing jewelry, and the building itself, have all been crafted by hand.The collection of artists that are absolutely stunning. I snapped a few photos to get a glimpse of what is currently in stock. New works are always in production, so stop by often to get a glimpse of whats new.If youre lucky, you might have a chance to meet Alejandro! Between numerous ongoing projects, teaching different disciplines across the city, participating in local events, Alejandro still manages to encompass his creativity to produce his amazing art. Theres none wiser than Alejandro. So do yourself a favor and listen as much as possible Jared, the Gallery Director, is the most amazing host! He has extensive knowledge on every artist in the gallery and the metals, alloys, materials used for all the pieces as well. Im even amazed at how he knows some of the backstories and inspiration that helped create a certain piece. Every time you talk with Jared you will learn something new.If youre visiting the city, feel free to ask Jared on places he recommends. MR .Sifuentes gallery is awesome as it as unique as the jewlery this artist produces. Clients need to remember that his work is as personal and imaginative at its gets. Remember what u are getting something that is ageless and it will be past (hopefully) to family trust me it will be appreciated. Give it a try and remember u are purchasing art for a lifetime

A great selection of artisan jewelry. The workers there are good people, with wonderful personalities. The owner, Alejandro, while talented, has an abrasive personality and doesnt understand the need to network. Ive sent him many customers and hes still an ass to me. So... yeah. Feel free to visit and buy, appreciate the artwork, but dont expect the owner to be anything but an ass unless its when youre handing him money directly.
