What a great place to hike, bike ride, walk or run on along the coast. One of my favorite spots In Spring, Summer and Fall. Check out the science center when they re-open, hike up the endless shoreline for a surreal feeling of the ocean, research the history before visiting and definitely check out the bunkers. Pack a lunch and enjoy a picnic along the water. Sunset and twilight is spectacular too at Odiorne!

Love this place. I always stop by it whenever I do my tri-state bike ride. You can watch the beautiful Atlantic, go to their science museum, hike on a large web of trails, use their playground for kids.

I have been visiting since I was a kid. Either I played on the playground, explored the rocks at low tide looking for life forms, ate at picnics, rode my bike or swam in the beach ️ next to the park, though I always found it to rocky (Yo Adrian!). I even partied there as a teenager.Ive bought my kids here for walks and the playground, which is closed right now, bummer!! My daughter made a beeline for it and I had to tell her Sorry, its closed.Fee is low for getting in, but, you have to do it online. You can combine a trip to the Seacoast Science Center and parking admission. Ive had no problems with phone reception at the park.Park is huge, long trails and sidewalks. Boat launch is in a separate area. Old forts are at the park as well. Very little litter. Bicycles welcome, pets arent. Great place for kids. Nice ocean views. Bathroom was in decent shape.I recommend a visit.Update: Saturday afternoon, November 2020; Returned for a hike and to see if Christina Levitans review of places inside the park were what I remembered. They were. The 155 Gun mounts, the bunker and ammunition storage bunker have their own spot on Google Maps. If you explore the entire park, you will come across them.Even with the cold and Fall foilage almost gone, the park is popular and charging admission. The playground is still closed, but, kids were playing on the equipment while wearing facemasks. Cant the playground be reopened? People are being cautious.Trails to explore and rocks to climb! Great views all around!

Its amazing! There are two sections of the beach, one of the sections is very rocky so if your kids like finding crabs thats a very good place! I watched a ton of kids put a ton of crabs in their buckets. The second section is just sand and if you just want to relax and swim its just the place for you!

Really gorgeous place, about $8 per person to go in and I usually hate paying for places but went back and paid without hesitation cause it’s just more private and more lush with nature. The water/horizon is better at high tide.A bit of a rocky terrain in some spots, small/medium rocks vs large chunky ones though.

This is a great and very different beach experience, especially for kids. It is a big, calm inlet. The shore is very rocky, so be sure to wear water shoes. It has giant rocky areas on both sides and when the tide goes down it leaves huge tidal pools. These pools are filled with sea creatures that kids love to explore. There is a big area where people have stacked rock towers in remembrance of loved ones that is really cool. They also have the Seacoast Science Center, hiking trails, a big playground and a great picnic area!

I have been visiting this State Park for years. Other than the middle of summer there is very little traffic this far up the coast compared to Hampton Beach area just a short drive south from Odiorne. Not only are there a wide variety of trails to walk, there is also a small sandy strip of beach as well. Low tide reveals amazing tide pools great for observing with or without children. I always go with my dogs and see many others walking their dogs here as well. On and off leash. This Park also boasts historical attractions like old army bunkers and a view of the nearby lighthouse just across the strait. I recommend this as a destination for anyone with dogs or children who want to get away from the more beaten paths. Its also a great place to go alone to walk, swim, sunbathers or to simply relax and enjoy the scenery.

An amazing place to spend the day. Lovely trails, a beach, a green with picnic tables, and a rock wharf are some of the things in the park. Theres also a science center, and over a mile of trails connecting them all. Dotted throughout the trails are old concrete structures left over from the days where it was a military installation. All of these leaves you with a beautiful place to visit full of things to do and see. I first discovered Odiorne Point about two years ago and Ive been coming back every few months ever since. Bonus, its also a super good place to go and watch the sunset in the summer!

Nice park with some great views and nice easy walking trails considering there are Rocky areas. There are some old military structures to be explored which are heavily graffitied. Some of the graffiti is pretty cool and artistic but some is just a blight. I liked the shark with laser beams graffiti at least. I think this would be a good place to bring kids to look for critters in the rocky pools of water in warm weather.

It has a variety of activities including several walking trails through wooded areas and along the coastline, a playground for toddlers as well as older children, as well as a science center for families to explore and educate themselves on local marine life and their environment.
