Ive driven by this park too many times to count without even realizing it was there. Me and my daughter met up with another family and the kids had a great time! The playground had a good variety of equipment and it all seemed well kept. When were in the area again well definitely stop back.

Heres what you need to know:Parking: LotAge range (playground): 3+Sidewalks: Well-paved around parkSeating: A few benchesBathrooms: Inside warming housePicnic tables: SeveralGrills: 2 by play areaSports field: Open field and baseball field behind playgroundThere are so many things I like about Lexington Park: its location, its size, its abundance of picnic tables; its compact design; its warming house; its climbing rocks . . . So many things. On errand-heavy days, we like to stop by this park for a breather before heading home (or on more errands!). Its literally 2 to 3 minutes away from the library and Target. For a park that sits on a busy road in a busy city, Lexington is surprisingly well-facilitated with a play ground, additional play area, huge swing set, sports fields, trails, and warming house. Its not often you run into a park with all these features done well. The play and climbing rocks areas are laid with mulch. Most of the playground is either high off the ground or climbing-dependent, making it a challenging course for little ones. Its got an ample supply of slides, monkey bars, climbing structures, and stairs. Weve been here on several occasions, often close to 2 hours, and my kids have yet to complain of boredom.Although Zoey (15 months) was able to navigate the playground on her own, I had to keep an eye on her and offer help. She had fun, but all play areas are best suited for older tots with a better grasp on their gross motor skills.Right next to the playground is a huge swing set. It sports a high back swing, baby swings, and regular swings. The additional play area has several features: a triceratops to scale (dino equipment = added bonus); a car to drive; a spring rider; a tire swing; a rock-play structure; and a balance beam of sorts.Right between these two play areas is a good-sized, open concrete area (perfect for chalk drawings or hopscotch) and several picnic tables. Stopping for a snack or resting here while watching your kiddos play (in whichever play area they want) is made so much easier because of this central seating area.Behind this area are climbing rocks. There are two artificial rocks sculpted to accommodate climbers of average to excellent skills. Titus (3 years old) can scale these with minimal help.Behind the climbing rocks is a warming house. Inside is an open space to rent (or run around in when its cold outside) and bathrooms.Sports fields are located to one side of the park. Ive seen the fields used for both informal and formal games. There are two things you should look out for when visiting Lexington Park. The first it that it gets busy, especially after work hours and around special events such as holidays and the State Fair.Consequently, the small parking lot fills up really fast. Plan to visit around these times or to park off-street somewhere around the park and youll be fine.

Nice park. Mostly for older kids, a few things for toddlers. There were some toddler things to climb on but my granddaughter was mostly pleased by the big rain puddle on the sidewalk.

Very popular neighborhood park. Building available for rental. Good variety of playground equipment, mostly for the 5-12 set but littles can have fun too. Swings and a big climbing rock also. A walking path circles the park. There is a small field, basketball area and skating rink. Restrooms are available which is a big bonus. Parking lot is on the small side but there is also street parking available in the surroundingneighborhood.

Nice little park with baseball field, seasonal hockey rink, basketball court, playground, pavilion, walking path, and tiny parking lot. However, the proximity to Co Rd B and Lexington, which are both busy streets means it can be loud. Lexington Park is decent for playing Pokemon Go.

Our 3 yr old loves this park. We enjoy it because of the cleanliness, friendly families who visit, and the nostalgic rocket slide. They also have a walking path, bathrooms, band shell where free music plays usually during the warmer months. There are also baseball diamonds and covered picinic area. Free parking

Great mix of slides, swings and monkey bars. Its very busy which can be a good and bad thing, but I mostly find that it gives my kids other kids to play with. The equipment is sturdy and safe and there is a dairy queen down the road so you can get ice cream after.

We were very impressed with this facility! We had a family reunion here and it was so nice. Inside was nicely air conditioned and if we got cold we stepped outside into the sunshine! The facility was very clean. Had lots of room to set up outdoor games and the playground nearby was great for the younger children! Thank you for a wonderful day and we would definitely use this place again in the future!the Becker family for the Schulte Reunion.
