Good spot with a couple of minor concerns, the mud puddles and the dried weeds that are dog accessible. Of course those are the most attractive to the canines.

My dog loves it here. She loves to explore. I got nervous at first because I lost sight of her when she went all the way up on the hill in the back area but it is totally fenced in and she can hear me when I call for her.Update 8/3/2020: The fence got knocked down and my dog got out. I got her back thankfully but the park is closed for now. We miss it very much. :(Update 8/7/2020: The city of Roseville is awesome for this. They got the fence fixed so fast! Our favorite park is back open and its secured. Thanks Roseville!

Awesome park with lots of friendly dogs and people. When I come here with my little dog, the bigger dogs are always cool with him. We have so much fun here, there is a back area that the dogs love to play around in. If you come here youll love it. Only 4 stars because of the nearby camp, but nice high fences and open areas make this place a doggy destination.

My two dogs, hubby, and I love this dog park. The pups love to run in the tall grass and through the culvert when water is flowing through it and the other pets and owners that frequent the park seem courteous and responsible. This is the only park in the Roseville area that is long enough to encourage both my dogs to run and get their energy out. I only wish that the topography allowed for this park to be open year round. Currently, it closes in the winter for flooding.

So awesome!!! Our dogs get the best work out/run/excercise at this dog park...the only downfall is the nasty smelling water that runs through the back...and comes home on our dogs...nothing bath cant fix.

Something, somehow sliced my dogs paw pad open. No idea what it was, Im pretty sure it happened up on one of the hillsides. It could of been a piece of broken fence. Be careful, try to keep your pooches on the grassy area.

**Edit**Found out its only open during the summer because the area floods in the winter.Really nice park has hoses and kiddie pools so your pup can get a drink or splash around. Good amount of sitting as well as shade. There is also a water fountian.

Too bad this dog park has a Culvert emptying into it. Gigantic mud puddle my dog got into a week ago and became infected with Giardia. A parasite spread from animal/human in soil and water. Its been a nightmare for both of us. Her diarrhea is so bad, she started treatment yesterday. If somehow this area could be fenced off so dogs wont be tempted to take a dip, I would go back. But never again......too bad

Its great. Like any dog park, keep an eye out for those dogs and their owners that say things like oh, thats just how they are at first and dont worry, he isnt being aggressive, hes just playing... but if you are careful and keep an eye out, this spot is a lot of fun.

I absolutely loved it here! So many great dogs and enthusiastic dog owners. My husky had an amazing time, made friends, and ran all through it and got out all her energy. Lots of nice grass, trees, plenty of sitting for the humans, and recepticles for dog messes. I just found my new regular dog park!

Fairly large dog park with a wide variety of terrain. There is water available and some shady areas for sitting. Be aware that the dog park typically floods after heavy rain for a couple of days. That is also no segregation for large or small dogs.

I love how big this park is! Theres no separate area for small dogs, but so far Ive had a great experience bringing my 9lb dog to socialize with dogs of all sizes. The only downside that there are some mud pits in the rainy season.

What an awesome idea! A place I can take my dog, take off the leash and let her explore and get used to being around other dogs. Ive driven by many times and finally decided to take our chocolate lab Daisy. She loves interacting with the other dogs or chasing her ball. She barks like crazy when I say, dog park.Thank you city of Roseville for having such a place.

I like this park because its really big as far as dog parks go. But the main field is wide open and gets very hot. Most people & dogs end up trying escape the sun and are usually huddled in the shade under the few trees there.

Gr
Review №54

Sizable park. Not sectioned. Lots of scrubby growth and little riverlets, a couple foot bridges. Areas people cannot easily traverse so if you have a resistant dog it can be difficult to collect them. Two water culvert pipes at either end. Gate over one may keep out large dogs but not all dogs. Culvert openings could also let in wildlife. Access to park is very steep.

Many people do not know how to control their dogs. I would reccommend taking your dog elsewhere if you cant, because I have seen many inexperienced owners with big, untrained dogs running around picking on smaller ones.
