This place has everything DIY. Everytime I go here I always find more than what I’m looking for (which can be dangerous ) but they have some nice home decor pieces as well. This is a good starting place for anyone who wants to kind of make their own decor pieces for the holidays or for any occasion. highly recommended!

The place is much cleaner than the old store. My biggest complaint would be the location seems smaller and therefore more cramped. The aisles are barely large enough for 2 people, without carts to fit down. Some of them are just wide enough for one person. If they were going to move locations, they should have picked a bigger building.

I love Michaels! (NEVER FORGET THE ONLINE COUPONS). So many hobbies, DIY projects, crafts for kids to choose from. I go there for soap making and painting supplies. My only complaint is the long lines and wish they had pure essential oils. The oils they have are more of a perfume. They are cheaper than the real thing but smell just as good in soap, just not as many benefits for your skin. So its good to buy them if you plan on making gifts baskets for the holidays, special events or large quantities for something else. I also recommend that other soap makers try the rubber baking molds for soap they last longer and the soap comes out easier. I get the pure oils from the Vitamin Shoppe.

I love love love Michaels!! They are always having some kind of amazing sale going on, along with a good coupon to use. Since theyve moved to Macomb Mall their selection has only gotten bigger and better. Theyre aisles are always organized and neat. Staff are ALWAYS friendly and knowledgeable.

I first want to say how I love how spacious this place is. Most craft shops Ive been to including the old Michaels were pretty cramped. There seems to be a very good selection available. It was so easy to find things Id like to buy later on. I have to say when I came here for the first time I was really excited. I had an overall good experience.

There were like for people in the store and it was kind of nice.

Wow.... I have never witnessed such poor customer service in my life. I was at Michaels this afternoon and while browsing, there was a lady trying to return an item. First of all, the cashier was so rude to her, that it was just terrible. The manager then became involved and she was even ruder than the cashier. I know for a fact that I will never shop at this Michaels again. If they cant treat their customers like they are valued, there are plenty of other places to shop. The only thing positive about the store is the framing portion.

The people here are wonderful! Especially Miss Shirley... Shes so patient and helpful with children AND adults. ;)Kids club and make breaks would not be fun without her!

Very understocked in beads, pendants and jewelry crafting items. Section been declining last couple years. Also could not find items to decorate a pirates chest. Halloween is only 2 months away. Its frustrating not to find what a person needs. Michaels used to be my go to place. Not as much anymore. Very disappointed.

Its a nice place with all the arts... beginners to advanced. Paints, inks, canvasses. Lots of crafty things too. I could spend far too much money in this place.

Hey, Michaels moved, and doubled its size! Yeyyy! They have so much more cool stuff now, anything you need for projects or art. Its so much easier to get to, because its in the mall on Gratiot now. Definitely a step up, giving Hobby Lobby some competition now!

Good for rainy day last min crafts. I just wish they sold paintable ceramics and pottery for adults. Not the childrens small pack of seasonal tiny items.

Watch to make sure your coupons are honored. Twice now I got home looked at my receipt and no discount myfault for not checking when I was at the register however I did ask both times if they scanned it and was told yes.

I needed to find a zipper. I asked an employee that was stocking yarn in the right general vicinity where I would find one. She didnt make eye contact - she didnt look up. It was a few aisles away in among many products. I couldnt find it so I left and found one at Hobby Lobby.

This store has the variety of crafts and other projects for school or just fun. One of my favorite things to do is Color those fuzzy posters they sell there. So many too chose from & Im very picky abt what I like, the only thing is you need to buy a pack of great markers the ones it comes w/ suck to be honest.

I could have spent a thousand dollars in this store. They had everything I could want and way way way more! The store was well stocked, the prices were fair and they had several BOGO sales at the time. The cashier was super nice, signed me up for their emails and even scanned a coupon for me. I was impressed with the holiday decor, the craft storage selection and the vast amounts of yarn in store. I highly recommend this store to all!

It’s the holiday season any at 11am michales only has two clerks and the line is 13 people long. Hire more staff! Don’t over work your employees!

This location is moving directly across the street (Macomb Mall) and are having a great moving sale! But go QUICKLY! They had just packed up the tape that I wanted but I was able to get 50% off of floral arrangements

Store is clean and well maintained but the store associate, Renee, had a really nasty attitude and her eyebrows are offensive.

I like this store and I want to like it more but the customer service needs improvement. No one was available to help when I needed a few questions answered. Because of that I stood in the check out line, the cashier was able to help but by that time I didnt want to stand in line again, so they missed a few more sales that day.

New store is clean, well stocked, and employees are very helpfull.

If youre really into arts and crafts this is the place to go. Unlimited stock. What I couldnt find at the other arts and crafts store I found at Michaels. Limited amount of staff to help, but they are helpful and friendly.

This is my favorite Michaels. I feel it always has what I need. I have done custom framing 2 times here with associate Kim, and have been very pleased. Very patient and knowledgable about what would look good. Trust her! Always has a great selection of holiday items. Love their sales and that they accept competitors coupons. Customer for life!

I love this place!! The ideas I get, for projects Im working on, from just browsing around the store...its amazing, to say the least!! The only reason I didnt give it five stars, is because there arent enough employees on the floor, to assist the customers when they need assistance finding something. I had to actually go look for someone to help me, not once, not twice but the last three times Ive been there. But when I found them, they were all very helpful and informative. Overall, every time I shop there, its always a great experience.

I love this store. Sometimes I wish the lines went faster, but they always give the same great service to all of their customers. They have the best sales too. Maybe hire someone to clean that parking lot. Otherwise, its a good store .

New store is huge and brightly lit. Employees were helpful, but they seemed understaffed, only 2 registers open and there were maybe 10 of us in line. I think you can find any craft item in here. I bujo, crochet, bead and craft with kids and I found something for each of these. Also a lot of storage options and tools for a ton of hobbies.
