Ok place to be get some skating in.

The floors are weird! They seem to be large squares of maybe linoleum? And in many places the seams are lumpy. I dont feel super comfortable skating on them.But the decor is cute and they have great lights and music.

Loved it, always fun to fall and learn to get yourself back up, and great way to get my energy out, plus I don’t need to worry about getting hurt because it’s very safe.

So much fun! Cal Skate has been around since I was kid and i still love going to this place. Very clean and a friendly helpful staff. Good prices with lots of options depending on skill level or what u want to do. Birthday party packages are great for kids and their friends. Fully stocked snack bar with lots of extea video games fun for those not skating or wanting a break. Just went to adult night on Wednesday and had a total blast with my friends and fiance. Cant wait to go back and get funky on some quads!

Horrible place for a birthday party, they don’t clean at all or they just need to upgrade, the workers are nice for the most part but always on their phones the managers are rude.... and the food is not sanitary! save your time and money from coming here !!

Ive been going for about 1 year now, excellent staff. Jean helped me pick out the right skates that were shipped super fast. I usually go on adult night where there arent any kids around and the staff is really receptive to music requests. Lots of fun and good atmosphere!

They could be a bit more cleaner. Some of people in particular werent really doing there jobs correctly. Most of them our teenagers. Dont people train people anymore. Then i asked for fresh popcorn. She gave me fresh but also mixed it with the stale popcorn which wasnt exactly tasty. But all in all its a skating rink. Guess i cant be to picky lol

Good family fun. My young daughter loves coming here. It is a good place for the family to come, spend time together and get good exercise. They have done a good job updating the place. My only down part is the bathrooms need to be updated and cleaned better through the day.

Its a great place for a birthday party. Kids can go wild in the rink and I dont have to clean up after the party! For the second year in a row, however, they forgot to put our second pizza in when they cooked the first one. The hostess was very apologetic and took care of it. We also had to remind them to bring in the ice cream. All in all a very nice party and well be back next year!

The floors are a little uneven but its a nice big place and kept favorably well. They sell Candy Girl skates too. Sunday night is all you can eat pizza night.

Went on a sat. Afternoon. They had skates for even little kids. It was 47 dollars for four of us which seemed a little steep, but, it was fun and the staff was helpful

No problems at all!!!! The best place to go if you wanna have fun!! Although the food there is really expensive, and trashy, my family had an amazing time there. You can even have song requests!!! And for birthdays ITS COMPLETELY FREE TO SKATE THERE!! aWEOSME!!!

Nice place to roller skate. Well maintained, good carpet, good variety of food. The only negative is the skating floor is composition and tends to be wavery and slick preventing you from going fast around the corners

One employee running the whole show and he rocked It! From DJ, to the concession stand, to renting skates he was everywhere and always upbeat with a smile. Really amazing job

Full family entertainment thats easy on the wallet. With temps so high outside, this is one of the best places to relax and have fun at the same time

A lot of fun. They have these pvc frames to help novice skaters stay upright. My only complaint is that it costs five bucks to rent a frame, but people who dont want to pay the money will take yours if you leave it unguarded. So keep an eye on your frame, if you get one.

The carpet may be be old and the interior hasnt changed in a couple decades, but the fun and lovely atmosphere is as great as ever. Rarely crowded. Roller derby classes for all ages and levels.

The facility is good with plenty of different activities throughout the time. My problem was with the equipment rentals. At first the inline skates they gave me were coming off the bottom and were so slanted they werent usable. They insisted that all of the size 12s were like that so I was eventually given a refund. After the refund another person looked at the skate and looked and found another set that were in fine condition, or so I thought. After about 15 minutes I noticed the front wheel on one side was sticking. Looking closer the bolt was loose and buy the time I got back to the rental counter it had fallen out. Thankfully the third time was a charm...

If you like 80s retro skating rings, this is the place for you. Not a lot of amenities, but it is fun.

Great speed skating team. The team (north coast ininline racing) provides a fun and safe environment for people of all ages and skill level, to participate in a fun and exciting sport. The team also re-coats the floor every year. Making the rink more enjoyable for all visit.

Take the kiddos Thursday mornings for kid-skate. Amazing place. Will always bring my kids here.

Minor renovations in the decade long gap between visits but primarily the same since at least the early 80s.

I went for a friends birthday and had a good time, but... Not for the skating or available food. Im clearly not getting back in skates anytime soon, but Ill hit up the skeeball in a heartbeat! Awesome people watching. Wished there was a whackamole! And air hockey table were calling my name... Well go again, but skip the skates and eat elsewhere.

Nice place to let the kids burn off energy

My kids love this place, and we love the price. $8 with skate rental for 5 hours, what a great deal.

Its a big roller rink, I think the lights could have been a little brighter while skating... And there were too many kids running into adults, and in many cases knocking them over.Id like try the adult nights.

Its a great place to go but it made me uncomfortable because a worker there that was working the dj booth was flirting with every girl under age and also me and hes in his early thirtys.

I love family run businesses, they are very nice. The skating area very nice, and they play fun music to skate by, but parts of the building are dated (like the bathrooms, counter areas). We go to the homeschool skate time slots and the $2 tuesdays after it. Check them out!They do birthday parties, but the one I went to recently they seemed very hard nosed about the rules.

Prices have gone up for the same level of service & food, thats expected. Not many improvements, just a long time family reputation. Plenty of opportunity for the building.

Super overpriced, but fun. For two adults and one child it was close to $40 to skate. Its not something Id do all the time, but an occasional splurge is ok.

Friendly, fun, non-judgemental space where people of all ages (mostly kids) skate to disco lighting and songs of the 80s. There are 18+ skate sessions too. The floor of the rink is super silky, and anyone who usually rollerblades on asphalt will appreciate the difference. I live in Berkeley, and its totally worth the trip. Afterwards, cruise for food at Amys Drive-In.

Love calskate! A great time for all ages. A ok price point the skates however are a but old the inlines are newer but I would suggest buying your own if you plan on skating a couple times a year, it will be worth it-your feet will thank you. The only con is the pricing of the skatemates. It can be steep if you bring multiple children who need assistance.

I brought 4 kids for Saturday afternoon skate. They told the kids they would play red light and green light at 4pm which never happened and they only did one speed skate competition . We were here from 12:45 to 5pm. Not nearly as much fun, as it use to be. The rink needs more on the skating floor games / activities. Who just wants to skate all day in circles with nothing else added.

Love that I used to go here when I was a kid and now Im able to bring my own son.

Saturday morning lessons followed by family morning skate. This was a family ritual for months. Still my eldests favorite place. Great dj and fun competitions.

Horrible skate surface had small chunks missing from the floor. Really bad music. We called it anti dance.

Home to Rohnert Parks own Resurrection Roller Girls roller derby team, and a long-standing venue for family roller skating in Rohnert Park. Im glad that Cal Skate has been open this long and hope that theyll be around for many years to come.
