A cool and trendy place if you like the old school arcade aesthetic. They even have a bar and games themed drinks. Plus if youre hungry food lab is next door.

This is my crews go to spot to go hang out, play some retro games, virtual reality gaming, or some a good old-fashioned 4 player pop-a-shot competition!. The game lab located adjacent to the Riverside Food Lab is a fantastic option for families. Grab some food from the lab a take it into the game lab and enjoy some retro games and some really with a great atmosphere. Or pick yourself up a quick snack and souvenir! The staff is friendly and helpful, its a must-try!

Good variety of games that are well priced. Lots of fun, even if youre not a huge game person. Definitely a great choice for a cost conscious date night. They serve drinks but no food. However, I believe you can bring food over from the food lab.

Not a bad place to spend your Friday night at. For $20 worth of coins you get around 2 hrs. or less of gameplay. I just think that they should have more of a variety of games. It wasnt that bad, but could be improved.

The place was awesome. It had lots of retro games and competitive games to make my friends and I enjoy our experience. I only wish the alcohol selection was a bit bigger

Fun! Fun! Fun! And, at an affordable price! My husband and I had a fantastic date night playing vintage arcade games, pinball and even whack-a-mole! We really appreciated that there was no entry fee, that each token is $.25, and that the games we played were only a couple of tokens at a time. I can’t wait to take my kids and their friends, this is a total gem and couldn’t be better located in its spot by the Food Lab! There is a bar in the back, and apparently after 10 PM no one under 21 is allowed in. We were there around dinner time and it wasn’t too crowded, just a totally kickback and fun atmosphere. Be aware that parking is limited, especially when there is an event at the Fox Theater, but this is within walking distance of the Mission Inn, Marriott Riverside and Hyatt Place.

An arcade that is full of retro and modern games. They sell snacks and alcohol and have cup holders at each game which is great. They seemed overstaffed and there werent more than 20 people on a Friday afternoon when I went but that could change once they gain more popularity. I only hope they dont go out of business because this is a place downtownRiverside needs!

Old games are okay, but loose their lust quick when they dont work correctly. This place is okay once in a great while. Will never replace Dave & Busters.

Was really looking forward to my first visit there but... Marvel vs Capcom 2, the P1 forward button wasnt working good, the LP and HP was not working at all. Tekken 5, the buttons felt stiff, couldnt pin point what wasnt working but needs tune up (plus that machine is dim). House or th dead shooter, P2 gun doesnt work well. Xmen game the p4 slot special button wasnt working unless you hit the button with a certain pressure. To much broken stuff that it just put a bad taste in my mouth... If they fix it up, Ill give it another go.

It was great! The games were good but it would have been nice to see some girly games. It totally helped you could drink! Spent most of the night playing pinball. Jacob is a great bartender. They also had VR but didnt have a chance to try it!

In theory this place would be awesome. The only downside is that the arcade cabinets have joysticks that are either unresponsive or flat out dont work. Id expect this after a year or two of wear and tear, but I think the place is literally only a week old.

Awesome arcade!!! Was pleasantly surprised with the bar, bar staff, and other staff. They had an old school tv with N64 (playing super smash bros!) hooked up at the Bar, and a big projector playing a movie on the wall behind the bar. Well maintained, very good prices on orginal arcade games, all the arcade games ACTUALLY WORK, unlike other arcades. It was a trip down memory lane with these games. And they have Marvel vs. Capcom 2 (my all time favorite game). If you grew up in the 90s this place is for you!

Place is cool but needs to get the cabinets to work properly, for example MVC2 both joysticks do not respond well to inputs given, ruining the experience and other cabinets like marvel superheroes took my token and didnt give me my credit same goes for TMNT. Bar is cool.

Really like the space and machines. Knocking off a start solely because the DDR machine (my main draw) is 50 cents for a single song now. Thats ridiculous when every other DDR machine is anywhere from 50cents to a buck for 3-5 songs. It wasnt like that the last time I came in and it seems like such a money-grubbing tactic. Hope they change it back.

Love the Game Lab!! Great location right next to a food mall so you have entertainment, drinks, AND food!! The staff is kind and egar to help, and the VR experience was awesome! Our VR host was never out of eyeshot to answer any questions we had or help us change the game.5 stars, 10/10, would recommend to anyone and everyone who enjoys either beer or games. Also, its family friendly, with a 9pm (or maybe 10pm if I recall correctly) 21+ curfew.

Good selection and variety of games, the machines are well maintained, and staff are helpful. There are rows of pinball, shooters, fighting, classic retro games and about half a dozen VR stations, etc. The only drawback is the steep price for VR. I split $25 for 30 mins between 5 friends, and it was an amazing experience. If your up for VR, it doesnt get too busy (went on a Friday night).

For the variety of games they offer it isnt that great of an arcade. They have a 900pm curfew that wont let anyone without an ID in which we found ridiculous since theyre not a bar. Unfriendly staff working the door. Seems overrated.

If youre there to have a good time, this place is great. If youre super competitive on games like mvc2, mk4, or tekken 5, some of the joysticks and buttons arent 100%. Prices are fair and easy place to kill time.

I came in after it had been open a week or so. The place is spacious and about 70% of it is retro games. They serve beer but no hard drinks. The consession stand has snacks but they are over priced like a movie theater. The have rooms on the back for parties. The staff is super friendly. The vr system is pretty good. I watched the staff clean it every time it was used.I wasnt sure about the rules on food. Id you have a party you can bring your own or order in. You can eat anything from the consession stand. They also have a deal with food lab (its a food court) so you can bring over food from there too. Also during special events they bring out xbox and playstation. All in all, the place feels like a trendy drinking and retro gaming experience with virtual reality thrown in.
