A great little park with about a mile paved walkway to the peak. There is a loop trail near the peak and a few interesting structures such as a large cross and a historic rock tower and bridge. The views on a clear non-smoggy day are great and the peak offers 360 degree views.

Always clean and pet friendly. Has basketball courts, baseball field and a great play area for toddlers and another for older kids and a huge track with mile markers around the whole park. Huge open field and also has a neighborhood garden. Lots of parking with access to Mount Rubidoux and Santa Ana riverbed.

This hike is wonderful for everyone and anyone! Parking is available, but depending on the time and day it can get full (especially around sunset). It is safe and clean, lots of families and people of all ages walking, running and jogging around. At the top there is plenty of seating so you can even bring lunch and eat it up there. There are a few (but not many) benches you can rest at if need be.

Its an amazing park to walk through during the morning and afternoons anytime between 5am - 5pm, if your looking to only find active walkers probably by them selfs or with a couple people (especially wearing mask), depending on the hour there might only be 10 people there great for a run.If you go late afternoon to the night 5pm - 5am then its up for grabs; youll get people blocking the path, huge groups, kids vandalizing areas with spray paint or loitering, people getting high or drunk, not much respect for others who are just looking for some cardio, in that case I recommend the trail in Loma Linda as an alternative! It has an amazing view at night, more than when the sun is up. Alternative trails to climb the mountain are present, just wear slip resistant boots or shoes with good traction. The whole thing is a little under 3 miles if walked the normal route. walking it during 1pm-3pm in the summer is perfect for tans, some rats do walk around at night so be aware. Dog friendly just remember the doggy bags and leash, also expect many dogs if your dog is aggresive.Above all it is a safe location to hike for women or men going solo, havent heard of any foul play incidents. Just always stay alert either way and be prepared with water/food, a cell phone & telling someone your location(:

We took our whole family (and puppy) on a hike. It was about 3.5 miles for the round trip. Everyone had fun. There are plenty of places to sit, stop and rest along the way for the little ones. The scenes are breathtaking. Everyone jogging, running, walking and biking are respectful of each other.

Great place to go. Nice views of the city of Riverside. There is a steep section of road that takes you up in about 1 mile or you can take the less steep one that takes about 2 miles to go up.I do recommend that you dont take the whole road as it is also used for cyclist. Stay to your right side.Too many dog owners also dont pick up after the dog, please do it to keep the park clean and enjoyable for everyone. No bathrooms, so you will have to go at Ryan Bonaminio park which is very close by. There is a water fountain at the bottom of park close to the entrance.

We found this hike while on the way to another park. It was just too tempting for us to not meet the challenge. We saw lots of other people on the trail to the top as well.It was a good hike and well worth it when we reached the top!We parked down by the dog park, but be aware parking is limited. Their are several ways to the top, some far more strenuous than others. Be aware there are some trails that do take you back down to the bottom of the hike in different locations, so make sure you are taking the trails to the top and not down. Unfortunately, there are not many signs on the way up.I look forward to doing this again!!!

The trail was easy, but had beautiful views of the city. All of the stops along the way for photos were easily accessible, and the trail was mostly paved. The trail had an incline almost the whole way, so it may require a stop or two (at least I did) if youre not prepared. Regardless, it was a lovely trail with a beautiful tower and bridge at the top, and lovely views of the city and surrounding areas.

Great place for a quick run, jog or walk just to get out. Its better early in the morning because if you wait and go later youll find yourself competing with literally hundreds of people and pets since this place is very popular. This is SUCH a great hike. Its a steady incline, but doable. The paths are pretty much paved the whole way and the views are spectacular. Theres a beautiful cross at the top and a cool amphitheater. I loved the castle looking bridge too that you see on one side of the path. A friend and I, both slightly out of shape, did the loop in less than an hour and a half with picture stops, could probably be done in 45 minutes. Theres free parking in neighborhoods near trail entrances. A must do when in Riverside!

Great place to work out, go with your family, lose baby weight while strolling with them, walk your dog (if theyre friendly) and so on. Theres usually a lot of people on the trail. Theres 2 different paths you can take: one way is more steep but only about a mile, the other way is less steep and is about 2 miles long. You can meet the other path while walking on the other, so if you regret which way you took you can easily take another way. Its all paved and there are benches along the way in case you need a break. The top has a flag and a cross where people like taking pictures. The views are great and on some days the Riverside airport has smaller planes flying around which make it a little more fun

Mount Rubidoux Park offers some of the most stunning scenes of the city of Riverside as well as nearby San Bernardino and Rubidoux. Overall, it is best to travel up.the mountain around 4:00pm during the winter and 6:30 during the summer for the best golden hour photos possible. Another tip is to go around April-June where the sun aligns in a perfect position. Overall the trek up to the market is steep so beware when using a stroller or anything with wheels, especially when going downhill. It is important to note there is no water fountain or restroom up at the summit of the Mountain. If you need to go then do it at the park across the street and also there is a water fountain also compatible for pets at the base. Overall, Mount Rubiduox is an amazing place to go for.a challenging hike, spending at most 1:30.to hike uphill then downhill. Not to mention the overall landmark on top of the cross, 5 stars for this Mountain.

It was my first hiking experience and I decided to give mount rubidoux a try. It was honestly so much fun! Obviously if you’re not used to it, walking up a inclined road up a mountain is indeed very tiring at first. Once you get to the top, it’s worth every bit of sweat and I mean it! The view is breath taking honestly! There’s a giant cross at the very top of the mountain as well as a nice tower and a very big American flag. Many many people hike here daily and even kids and dogs come up here too! If you’re looking to de-stress or just do something more active, you should definitely give mount rubidoux a try!
