This is an especially lovely State Park. They support Circle types of citrus but you are not allowed to Pick Nor take any other fruit. They do have a stand across the street or you can purchase the fruit. You need to pay for parking and usually theres nobody at the guard shack so its a self-pay honor System. They have a few miles of decomposed Granite walking trails, Acres of lush green grass and orange groves, beautiful landscaping done with the 1850s look. The bathrooms are nice for a park and always very clean. There are also barbecues and picnic areas with receptacles for the hot coals after youre done barbecuing. My favorite feature is the beautiful old style event building on the grounds done in old style beveled glass, wood slate and a beautiful interior with two large chandeliers and wood floors. You can rent this out for events and theres ample parking. Further up theres a citrus history information center which is very interesting and worth taking the kids. But if youre looking for a nice peaceful environment to get some exercise walking, this is the place to do it.

This is such a wonderful park to explore and take a walk or enjoy a picknik. There were plenty of signs on the enterance that say it is only $5 dollars to park. I was able to get my parking pass from a machine and Claudia who works there was very friendly, helpful, and nice. I had the most amazing time here and will be returning often to enjoy the beautiful atmosphere and citrus trees.

We walked around the different orchids. Many different types of citrus trees and the view is just breathtaking. I recommend this location for a breeze walk.

Free admission, but parking is $5. I came here for a history project and was pleasantly surprised with the atmosphere. It was such a nice day and the park is so clean and nicely kept. I enjoyed looking at everything, the sound of the birds chirping made me feel peaceful. There is a lot to see and you could spend a pretty good 2 hours here just learning about the history of Riversides citrus trees. I will definitely be back here soon to see the rest.

On a clear, cool winter’s day, this place is idyllic. It’s got stunning views of the mountains surrounding expansive citrus groves. I took a guided tour in which we each collected a sack of countless varieties of citrus. I took this home to my family and they were very pleased to have a citrus-eating party. Great combination of beautiful grounds and insight into the citrus industry of SoCal.

Theres a $5 parking fee. No sign, no booth with a guy that gives you a ticket. And they tried to fine us $75. Literally the only the car in the parking lot, the ranger saw us, didnt say anything, wrote the ticket and left. No courtesy, no chance to pay, and no obvious signs that there is a parking fee.

This place was fabulous! After attending a friends funeral, we thought we would look around Riverside where my friend had grown up and we stumbled upon this place, which turned out to be perfect. The staff was amazing and very friendly. I forgot her name, but the older white lady who gave us the tour was wonderful! I thoroughly enjoyed how she let us taste some of the various citrus fruits. The groups fav was the Australian purple little citrus fruit. Forget the actual name, but it was like citrus caviar. Their gift shop was cute and I found some delicious citrus jam there that was yummy over buttered toast. The young man who did the tasting table was very nice and knowledgeable.

Great park. Beautifully curated rows of citrus fruit trees that are back dropped by the mountains and surrounding city. The wind was blowing strong which amplified the aromatics of the tree.Parking has a registration for, that costs $5 but we got there a little after 4pm and no one seemed to mind that we didn’t pay. Museum was closed so we missed that but the rest of the park was worth it.

Our tour guide was so friendly and funny! His knowledgeable explanations and his whit made it a delightful experience. The others visitors within our group added to the experience by sharing their insights and stories as well. Beautiful views and photo ops made it a hit! Loved the indoor museum, super clean and warm restrooms and the TASTING table. The gift shop was on point. Nothing over done and not lacking either. Simple and tasteful. Pun intended. We will definitely be back and every visitor we ever have will be taken here! Inspired to learn more about the citrus history of Riverside.

Orange groves surround a rustic banquet hall, surrounded by palm trees, Japanese curry blossoms, and a majestic view of the San Bernardo mountains, parking is plentiful, and hanging and string lights are tastefully spread out over the surroundings to light the place up at night. Visited the Park yesterday and had a wonderful time learning about the significance that the citrus industry has had in the Riverside area and Inland Empire as a whole. The visitors center was open and contained information regarding the history of citrus in the New World, as well as offering a guided tour on Fridays at 11 & 2. The tour was approximately one hour in length, but it was quite informational and provided a great perspective of how different types of crops are grown, harvested, and maintained. There was even a wonderful sampling of citrus at the conclusion of the tour! Well worth the $5 donation.
