The museum caught our eye as we were passing by on the highway; with no expectations we dropped in and absolutely loved it. Super interesting, tonnes to look at and really fascinating and informative displays. Its so much bigger than it looks on the outside, and the amount of aircraft outside the main museum would keep you busy for at least an hour. Definitely recommend!

We were fortunate to visit before the Covid 19 pandemic and can rave about the Air Museum. The staff is friendly and very knowledgeable. My photos tell the story of the range of aircraft both inside and outside the Museum. The biggest drawback is that its located in the desert and the sun is relentless so try to pick a cool day or wear a sun hat or umbrella. Also bring water. Not many things to get inside but looking at some of these massive planes is worth the trip.

Visiting during pandemic*While the main hanger was closed off to the public (except for the bathrooms) March Air Museum has a majority of its collection outside. We were offered a tour and asked if we had any questions by the attentive staff. They were also very happy to have my four year old explore. While you can get very close to the planes they ask to not touch or climb on them but being feet away from their B52 is close enough.

If you enjoy seeing aircraft of all sorts this place is for you. Right off the freeway, the location is hard to miss. You can’t help but feel a sense of patriotism when you visit. They have various memorials to our service members. The aircraft span a wide variety of eras. Nice impressive museum. It’s easy to become lost among the exhibits. Plan to spend a few hours up to a half day exploring everything on display.

The amount of history in this Air Museum is absolutely amazing. The prices are extremely reasonable and even cheaper for kids. The amount someone could learn here, for all ages, is amazing (airplane enthusiast or not). There is even a section dedicated to each major war the US was involved in. These sections include actual uniforms (American and Enemy alike) and weapons from each era.For younger audiences, there is even a small plane they can sit in.The best part: they have an actual SR-71 Blackbird, my favorite plane on the planet. The admission fee is worth the sight of the Blackbird alone, not to mention the rows and rows of historic planes in the airfield.Dont miss out on visiting this historic place.

There are plenty of interesting stuff you and your kids can put hands on and have fun. You can dress up in air force antique uniform and take pictures. Lots of things to learn and lots of fun to have! 5/5

The first thing you see when you walk in is asr-71 blackbird. There are a lot of planes ranging from the early 1900s to high tech jet planes. This museum takes about 2 hours to see everything. I love this place. This has real planes and NOT replicas. If you want to enjoy seeing huge planes up close and history this is the place for you. They have many spaces for you to interact with things and a few flight simulators. My favorite part was the helicopter display outside. A few pro tips: wear the right shoes outside has dirt. It can get hot. It is in a hanger that is cool but not cold. They have a few places inside that have AC so you can cool down. The yard of planes is HUGE! Make sure you make enough time for it and aging bc it is outside be prepared. They have nice restrooms and a water fountains inside the hanger so be sure to make an afternoon of it.

This place is much bigger than you would expect. I didnt count the exact number, but it seems like there are at least 50 aircraft here. Theyve been open for about 23 years, and have acquired quite a collection. They got air craft from other WW2 all the way to current. Including an SR-71 Blackbird. While you cant climb into any of the planes, they do have a few displays of cockpits and navigation stations you can interact with. Theres even a NASA exhibit that has a couple flight simulators running. Outside theres several jet engines on display. The volunteers have a wealth of knowledge, as several are veterans themselves. If you take the time they may even tell you some of their own experiences. We met a great man by the name of Doug that took the time to tell us about his time as crew on one of the tanker aircraft they have on display. When you go, plan on spending several hours here.

We took the family here on a Saturday. It was not too busy. There were plenty of exhibits to see without a big crowd. Inside the hangers, there were lots of planes and fun things to see. They also have a mission control room with flight simulators, however one was broken and the other two were pretty out dated.I was expecting that there would be some airplanes that kids could go up inside of, especially since several had ladders leading up to the doors. But that was not the case. In fact, I noticed that most of the displays outside were not maintained. The paint was all chipped, the windows were all faded and cracked and some of the planes and vehicles tires were flat. The boys did love doing the scavenger hunt. It kept their interest and desire to visit every room and exhibit looking for the items. My boys did say that had lots of fun, so I dont think they noticed the fleet was run down. And It was a lot bigger than it appears. Lots of planes!
