First time to come check this amazing place out the staff is super friendly. They are all polite and welcoming one of the volunteers gave us a history lesson on the building which was awesome who new it was a girls young womans Christian center. Pretty cool to know that where one of the exhibits is laid out use to be a indoor swimming pool. So that being said nice art work from various artist paintings, drawings, and photography they even have art for children posted on the wall. They accept donations. Small exhibits but worth checking it out. Did I mention there are sculptures too fantastic to look at and intricate

$5 entrance fee for adults but check for various discounts. The volunteer was very friendly, helpful, and enthusiastic. Cozy small town museum. It does a nice job for the amount of space and price within the historical building.

I went here during the Arts Walk for a college assignment in my art class. The building inside is nice and clean. The people greet you and are friendly. The parking is just crazy and full. It took me 30 minutes to find parking because there was so many people and the closest parking spots were all occupied.

When I first came to this place I thought it was going to be a classical art and while there was classical there I was happily surprised of the overwhelmingly amount of modern to pop art as well as two interactive activities to do with modern art as well. And with tickets of five bucks who wouldnt give it five stars.

This may be a small art museum, but its still very nice. Its rarely ever crowded, although I did visit around 3pm on a Tuesday. It has a nice rooftop area and students can get $3 admission with their IDs. Id love to visit again in the future.

The museum is small, but also cheap for students and inviting due to the friendly staff. There werent many exhibits, but it seems like the museum also performs functions for getting youth involved in the arts and offers many good and impressive opportunities for this. The display of high school work in the museum is also a nice touch that will hopefully continue to inspire a new generation of artists.

Not only a place one can view local artists, but also they have interactive displays where you can have the opportunity to display your own artistic talent. A great place to bring children, for all artwork are children appropriate. I great place to enjoy for a couple of hours located in downtown Riverside. The only downside is the metered parking.

Such a beautiful place to have a wedding. They have a rooftop which is perfect place for a wedding especially as the sunsets. I didnt like the fact that they only had one elevator and that is the only way to get to the rooftop and the only way to get down. It just became congested when you have 100+ people that are trying to get up or go down.

Here for an event and its was amazing. I.would give it 5 stars but I am docking it for smer event and TOO HOT. Not sure if air conditioner is an issue but it was miserably hot. Seems to be an old building which was for culture but it was sooo hot for the event. Nice evenly distributed area for event. You cant have a large even there maybe 100 people but I would consider returning

You know Im not really an art person, I mean sometimes a piece/drawing/photo will grab my attention but to say hey let spend the day at an art museum. Yeah thats not me. This place wasnt bad though, but it true you can go through it in like 30-45mins. It was really a nice touch how on the second floor they have a little section from students ranging from elementary to high school. So much detail, and for them just being kids!! They had a room solely for some work on Todd Gray not bad, the best was Batman of course lol.I wouldnt mind coming back knowing that they change the art every once in awhile but to be a regular here, yeah probably not.

A collection big enough to keep your interest and small enough for you to browse in a day or so. Very friendly personnel and if youre there on art Walk(first Thursday of the month) you may get to meet the artist behind one of the exhibits. They have a boat load of events and plenty of classes you can take. I highly recommend stopping by but pay attention to their opening and closing times.

Me and my Husband were down here for a doctors appointment and decided that we wanted to spend some time together and do something different so we chose here because it was close. It turned out even better than we expected. :) they had some cool exhibits with some live reptiles and insects upstairs. Downstairs they had a cool military display and nice wildlife exhibits. You donate what you want but there are little boxes on the wall that has a suggestion of $3 per adult well worth it if you are just looking for something out of the ordinary to do.

Great experience, I decided to stop here on a whim and was immediately and enthusiastically greeted by the woman at the front desk. She spoke to me as if it was her first day there, eagerly sharing some of the buildings history in a very refreshing way- information Im sure she has to repeat on a daily basis.Lovely historic building with a central courtyard/atrium flooded with light, lots of beautiful and interesting details all around. My visit was mid-day in the middle of the week and Im pretty sure I was the only person in the entire place perusing the exhibits. Every gallery I went into was empty which was fantastic and immersive. Decent mix of art forms and styles. I have to admit I was left wanting for more; the museum has 3 main galleries, a few small displays in between and the rest seemed to be for classes/activities/studios/administrative.Recommended if you want something to do for $5. I spent ~30-40 minutes casually browsing the building.Parking is free on Lime st in front of the business offices.

The admission is 5 dollars per person, which is not that expensive but if i pay for something i do expect there to be something interesting. There were 3 rooms, of which one was oké. One just had a few debatably ugly paintings. And one was not in use. I love art but I feel like we waisted our money on this one.
