I have gone on Thursday $12 steak night . Country western bar and dance floor with bench seating outside.Plenty of people try their luck with the corn hole game. A simple bean bag you toss into the hole with some kind of skill (luck).I will definitely be back since the price is right.

The hell with Covid-19, this place was awesome. Great music, cold beer, big dance floor, and beautiful country women. They made sure we were all safe while still being able to have fun. If youre in the area I recommend you check it out.

Great ambience, the steak night dinner was Texas big. The steak could probably use a little more salt. Need some light at the tables so you can see what you are eating.

Great place to go with friends for drinks and dancing. The wait staff dances on the tables and bars like at Coyote Ugly in New York.They even have a mechanical bull for you riding pleasure.They have an outdoor section with a live band playing. But no taco stand like Whiskey River NorthThey do however have games to play on the outdoor patio.Always a fun place to go.

I wanted to test out the prices to reserve a potential party of mine to come to Whiskey River West, but came to realize I submitted a reservation request upon which I got a text from the Reservation Manager, Joey for Whiskey River West and North.I greatly appreciated having a real person to communicate with me about this club through via text.Joey was professional, and understanding along with being well versed with explaining to me the prices and how reservations were done for this establishment. Even though I was unable to reserve a table with my party, I am very thankful for Joey for his hospitality and our small encounter despite my circumstances.Thank you Whiskey River West! I am looking forward to one day reserve a table and partying with you all!

I love this place have been going for awhile.. This past Saturday night my wife and I went , really didn’t pay attention to the bill til the next day.. was disappointed we were charged for three drinks that we’ve never heard of... I hope this is not becoming a place that’s going to charge drinks just to add up the bill!!!! If we go again we will check the bill very carefully next time,,, which we shouldn’t,,,, but the staff is amazing and the atmosphere is great!!! Love this place!!!

We went there for the BBQ. Nice place and nice people. Had beer and BBQ while the DJ played great music. They have live bands I was told. On this day I gave a lower rating because due to the high price of the BBQ for the amount of meat you get. A $16.00 two meat plate and only got three slices of brisket and five slices of sausage paired with the two sides. The food tastes great but not outstanding. Where at Harris County BBQ for comparison a $14.95 you get a half pound of meat and two sides.Maybe it was due to a cold day the serving size was off. Will give it one more try and also like to see the bar open.

This place is absolutely amazing, there is so much both inside and outside on the patio. Get there early because it does fill up fast but it is definitely the place to be especially on a Wednesday night.

Love this place! Almost feels like family after a few times there. All bartenders and servers are fantastic and very welcoming. If you are ever looking for a place that’s clean and fun to dance or have a few drinks at this is the place to be!

It was New Years Eve/New Years Day, I was having fun until end, they had remaining balloons from the drop at the top of ceiling, which was supposed to be for everyone, but anyway one of the workers there was knocking the remaining balloons down, I grabbed one, after I popped it he was rude to me and told me I should not have done that, I am thinking he was trying to make it to where his friends could get it, which was wrong on his part. I told him not to disrespect me like that.

My wife and I came here this past weekend to celebrate her birthday with friends. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by a highly enthusiastic and friendly bartender named Zach. Zach went out of his way from the time we got there to the time we left and made sure we had the best experience. I will definitely be coming back and Ill be recommending this place to friends. Zach, keep up the hard work, and we look forward to partying with you again!

It was a 5 star customer experience. Super fun. Music was the best. Security was on point. Our waitress was very friendly she gave us a big smile and a warm welcome. Delicious drinks and very cold beers I highly recommend this place.

I really wanna love this place We were so excited to have a nice country place near us .But why is it so hot in there! You can barely dance without feeling like you might pass out from heat exhaustion.. There seems to be no AC in the womens bathroom. You dont get dressed up to go out and have a fun night only to get overheated. Yall need to do something about that AC.

I have been here twice now and love it. It is very clean and smoke free! They play a great mix of old and new country. I cant believe I havent checked out the patio yet because it has been cold. After reading the reviews, I will definitely check it out this weekend when I go back! Its nice to have a great dance hall close to home. I still need to check out the food too!

LOVE IT! I am so happy to have a GOOD dance hall so close to home. They played both new and old country and plenty of old school dance music! The variety made taking a group of 15 people much easier! Everyone was happy and drinking and dancing...and even riding the bull! I can see this place becoming a regular spot for our parents night out. We still need to check out the BBQ, but I am sure we will get to that soon!

Zach the bartender outside on 12-21-2019 was terrible. He was rude, the Long Island we ordered was waaayyy over poured and tasted horrible. Didn’t want to remake or replace our drinks. Dismissed my friends and I mid conversation to help someone else. Manager said “we’ll take care of it” and we got no further assistance. He’s rude and demeaning. Need a new bartender and playlist for sure.

Two stars because the music is nice the. Beer reasonable but I was annoyed by the staff first I was in the bar with family it seems this worried the staff somehow they offered us a table with chairs, 30 min later they started to take our chairs as the chair game... if you want this experience I would invite you to do ask for a table ( not reasonable price) good luck!

Came here with a pretty large group on New Years since we heard it had just recently opened and wanted to check it out, we werent disappointed. A good mix of the older and younger crowds. DJ kept me out on the dance floor all night with the music, and a few line dances here and there to get the crowd going. On the downside, once I left my boots were completely covered in saw dust or dancing wax so they might want to look into that. Drink prices were a little on the high side but nothing too serious. Overall great experience, and I will be back in the future.

Nice place plenty of room. The dance floor lighting is awesome. The only BIG downfall...it was freezing in there. Air conditioner was on even though it was 49.outside. crazy!! Even men were complaining. Couldnt wait to leave it was that uncomfortable.

Totally loved the BBQ! You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. I went during lunch on a Thursday and had the best time. The food, service and music were great!

Went there for New Years, had a great time. The staff was on que and the multiple bars were always accessible. Inside and outside played excellent music throughout the night. Would definitely recommend!

Typical country club. This is not a dance hall. Yes there is a dance floor, but the place is focused on their drink sales. There is a cover charge to get in. The venue is fairly big in size but still gets very crowded. There is also a machanical bull available for anyone willing. Parking sucks, so your best bet is the valet or uber. They play top country hits and the hip hop dance favorites for the women. Think Wild West for the Richmond area.

Ordered 3 lunches today. Was shorted one potato salad side. Portions were small considering we were 3 female teachers. The sausage was dry, the pulled pork bland. Very disappointed in the food that cost $50 for 3 lunches. We’ll stick with Rudy’s! Food was a big disappointment!! Good luck!

We arrived for Happy Hour, had call and push the place a food order #2 so a person would answer to in form us that corporate decided they were stopping Happy Hour immediately before they changed their website. This after months of thinking we should try this place out, it finally worked out that lent is over so were done with fried fish Fridays, and our first immpression is not good. Were not late night partiers but we like to eat drink and dance. Im not sure well try it again unless they start opening earlier.

Love this place! They play a variety of country music but it would be nice if they played a few more old country songs. The atmosphere was great along with the wait staff. The number of bars make it easier to get drinks. My favorite thing was probably the outside patio. The patio has a bar, a dance floor that only plays country, cornhole, big jenga, heaters, and plenty of seating. We had so much fun last night!

The manager tonight was an angry,egotistical jerk. We were entertaining business owners from Venezuela and Italy. The manager told them to hwt away from the dance floor and had the POLICE escort them out. A total embarrassment. We will NEVER go back, nor will any of our friends in Grand Lakes, Cross Creek or Cinco Ranch! In fact, we will explore the legal options surrounding this case.

Love the food and received it fast thru Uber eats. Ribs are amazing along with the sausage and of course the sides. Will definitely order from there again.

We were there for opening night Sneak Peek. Totally packed but expected. We have been back on a Thursday and on a Friday. We go for the dancing so my review is oriented that way. Pros: Thursdays not very crowded and lots of space on the floor. Friday was very crowded on the floor after 9pm. Fortunately most dancers followed line of dance with good floor craft. The music was great with mix of twostep and country polka along with a few waltz, WCS, and even a cha cha. (Although Thursday the DJ did play 6 polkas in a row).. Two Cons: 1) The floor on Friday was completely dusted with dance wax/sawdust which made dancing like dancing on ice. Very slippery and dangerous. Dance wax in the corners is fine for those who need it but a complete dusting is terrible. 2) It would be nice if they opened at 6pm or even 7pm so we could dance some before the floor is filled later at night with those who did not necessarily come to dance..

This place is pretty darn cool, they have a frickin chandelier made out of beer bottles. And the mechanical bull is harder to ride then you think
