Dee and Jen are the most friendly and courteous and sweet people you going to run into. A bright light during bad times. Thankful that there are still places like this open. Great food and even better people

Ive been here quite a few times. Food is decent, not out of this world, but good. Service is really great though. If they mess up your order they immediately rectify the situation. Atmosphere is nice, pretty much always a flat screen in view, no matter where youre sitting. I reccomend the Miners Breakfast, especially if youre super hungry. Also the half off breakfast deal before 10 is pretty sweet.

Good food. Enjoyable, but nothing to write home about (background: food used to be exceptional) Staff did their job in a friendly manner, but nothing standing out as exemplary service or interaction. I would certainly return, but not in a situation where impressing someone with my culinary choices was at stake.

Been there100 times. First time there since covid...Service was good, but they trashed the menu. Took a bunch of stuff off, and the food was not as good. Cold fries. The panini had no lettuce or tomato. Was just blah.Used to love going there with the wife for a late dinner when we could. We left there sad.

I like coming here pretty close from house. Awesome food menu. But they dont carry my beer but in bottles. Other then that plenty screens to watch the games on your days off or after work. So easy to see it from the street. If you are driving by you cant miss it.

Place was awful... our service was terrible!!! couldn’t even get anyone to give us any silverware. I had to go around to the tables and find it myself. I had to ask for coffee Several times (from an air pot) and when we got it it was cold.. plus the prices were super expensive for what you get.. $9.00 for literally two pieces of French toast.. One of the toast wasn’t even cooked all the way and of course our food was cold by the time we found silverware ourselves. I would not recommend this place and I would never come back here again!!

We traveled here from New York State to visit my brother in Reno. We had a great time! Waitresses were nice. Food was excellent. My dad and brother enjoyed some games of pool. Id go back if I lived here.

I just moved here from California and I needed to get established with a new dentist. I decided to try Absolute dental because I saw some ads on TV. I was very happy with my experience at this office. Dr. Carpenter was friendly and professional and the staff treated me very well. I would recommend this office to anyone needing good dental care.

I love the vibe of this place and I love bringing my wife here. It’s clean and modern but at the same time feels like an old tavern out of a movie. The atmosphere is fantastic.The food, especially the burgers, are great, and I LOVE their deserts. Everything is good.Staff are polite and professional and check on guests at the right frequency. Not too much. Not too little.

Interesting variety of food. A little more classy food than a normal pub, but still similar to a pub atmosphere. The staff are really nice. The uniforms are a little old world. The lounge area available for reservation is my favorite, bug TV split on four channels with leather sofas. This is all separate from the casino and bar.

We dont live in Reno anymore, havent for almost 10 years, but we can always count on great food from this place when we come back to visit.

This place is never disappointing. A great place to go for a cocktail and always great food. Great atmosphere and pool tables too. Happy hour specials twice a day and 50% off breakfast until 10am. Football Sundays are always crowded but the people are fun. And they have a separate bar, on the back side of the building, for the smokers. Definitely family friendly.

Bartender Garrett is awesome! Super nice, made the whole time there fun and knew the menu well.. most importantly he didnt bother too much and always made sure we were happy.. thanks Garret and Sierra gold!

Great place to relax and socialize

I love the food, I hate the location. I know its a tavern but despite being large inside its always noisy! This causes problems when placing to-go orders because half the time they hear me wrong. Ive gotten into the habit of making them repeat the order just to make sure we are on the same page, but sometimes they still mess that up. Multiple times Ive order boneless wings, only to get home and find Ive been given bone-in wings. Its not the end of the world and the bourbon sauce is delicious, but its still not what I ordered. I really shouldnt have to double and triple check my orders.

I was there one time and unfortunately I have to give it two stars because it wasnt a good experience. Im sure if I went a second time it would be a much better experience I would hope. The meal that I ordered was a simple taco salad with ground beef my wife ordered the same and the ground beef was burnt, on top of that it took a while to get to simple Taco salad but I understand what they were trying to do and they were trying to get out multiple tables at the same time so I think thats why my ground beef was overcooked. And I have to mention the hair in my wife salad which she sent back and they made her a new one. That second salad did come much faster and was delicious.

This place was definitely a lot nicer on the inside than I was expecting from the outside. During there happy hour the prices are reasonable, but at other times it seemed spendy. When I was there the service was a bit slow, but they were down a bartender, and the one that was there was friendly and offered excellent suggestions. The food was good too.

What a great place. Do not live around this area, went to watch the UNR game last week. The place was so packed but our server and our bartender Michelle made sure our service was top notch! Food was awesome and beer was Cold! Definitely coming back here again with meself or the family!! Great job Sierra Gold and Michelle for a great time!!!

Really good Fish & Chips. I like how the fish is cut into finger slices. They also do house made potato chips, yum. My only suggestion would be change the tartar sauce from a sweet pickle type to a dill pickle type.

The servers are gold and happy to answer questions. We told them it was our first time (and it was) and they were eager to make a good first impression. They did.

Hubby and I stopped in for breakfast. Thinking it was a bit overpriced, but when the dishes came out my eyes swelled. A stack of four plate sized pancakes for me and a platter with perfectly cooked eggs, delicious breakfast potatoes for my hubby. It was wonderful! Jennifer, our server, was friendly, cheerful and very pleasant. For the amount of food we received, the prices were very reasonable.

Love the food a bit over priced....probably because of their location in south Reno....but fiid is very good not just the standard bar food either all of it is yummy!! The chicks at the bar are cute friendly and seem to enjoy where they work . I would definitely ho there for a nice dinner ....but the nachos with chill on them isnt the best like ar all !!

After waiting an hour for our food (scrambled eggs, pancake, nachos, and a burger) and having multiple people sit after us get full pizzas delivered we finally got our order. The pancakes had cold syrup advertised in the menu as warm syrup. The burger was not even close to rare, it was raw. The nacho chips were crumbs from the bottom of the bag. The jalapenos in the nachos were thrown in a pile to the side. The nacho cheese was cold from the hour we waited to be served. 1/10

Open 24-7. Bartenders are meh.... off and on. Do not expect a perfect bloody. Food is pretty good no complaints there. Have never had a problem with the staff. Other than the fact some can make a good drink and some can not.

A group of us went to Sierra Gold on December 8, 2017 to celebrate my wifes birthday with her co-workers. I was amazed at how all the television screens were strategically placed for you to watch whatever game you desired. I enjoyed the Sierra Gold Burger, which consisted of Kobe Beef with Mushrooms, Bacon, and Truffle Oil.By the time we left 3 hours later we were all good and stuffed. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for good entertainment, good times, and at a great price.

I’m surprise this place is still in business when on a non-busy night the bartender takes over 10 minutes to say a word to you and only finally says something to you when you cash out. Was in the mood for a drink when I came in but not after that level of non-service. Just moved to the area and looking for a new spot, needless to say this will not be it.

Food was subpar. Pizza was cold when it arrived to table. Fish and chips tasted like it was old. Will not be going back. Beer was cold.

Greek salad was terrible. Dont waist your time there. My husband had a salmon salad. Frozen salmon I should precise. Uncooked potatoes and beans. The non-smoking side of Sierra Gold is always a good time with friendly staff and good food. The smoking side employs a different style of service with rude, impatient and unsociable bartender staff and poor service.

Breakfast 50% off entire bill 7 days a week is worth it....food is good. But its only good till 10am, then you pay full menu prices. A local favorite.

Have never eaten here before. I WILL BE BACK. Had an Atkins burger that was delicious! (Not your usual burger w/o a bun). Sweet potatoe fries were great as well. Staff was attentive and friendly.

The Eggs Benedict was great. Not a lot of restaurants serve this anymore.
