I have not stayed in any rooms at this casino but have spent a little bit of time here gambling and eating on a few occasions. Ive always had a good time and the food is always been phenomenal. Everyone here is always been very friendly from the slot associates, dealers to the security staff. Upstairs on the second floor before you go to into the sky bridge over to the silver legacy there is a large game room for the kids to spend their time in while the parents are here enjoying themselves. I wish I would have came here when my children were younger would have been an awesome place first our family entertainment as circus circus is the only casinos that I have ever encountered that are truly catering to the whole family.

Circus is the best place in Reno if you bring your minor children with you. But the midway and arcade are not what they used to be and they removed all the table games from downstairs. The inexpensive buffet is long gone, replaced by a small food court. Good food choices (Habit, Pizza, Panda) but no longer inexpensive. My wife likes the older slot machines and Circus has many of them. If you want the new flashy digital ones Silver Legacy or Eldorado are better equipped. We usually make the rounds and find some games to play at Circus when were in Reno.

We booked a room at Circus Circus because we were travelling with kids and we knew they would enjoy the carnival games and arcade. We drove 10 hours only to find out that they shut everything down early because of low crowds :( It was only a one night stop on our way home so the kids never did get to play any of the games as they did not re-open that area until 4pm the next day. It would have been nice if there was some sort of warning on the site as we would not have booked the room if we knew.

Its horribly expensive! They dont have any more circus shows and did I mention ridiculously overpriced?!Thank you for responding. Unfortunately I dont see myself or my family going there anymore. Being born and raised in Reno, its sad to see how badly these casinos and arcades have deteriorated to the point, only tourists go, because they dont know any better. Thats one of the main reasons casinos in Northern Nevada are losing the locals interest.

I havent been to Las Vegas but if you have limited time and you are heading to San Francisco or bay area and if casino is in your bucket list then you definitely need to add Reno to your list. We went on Saturday night and all the casinos were filled. We stayed in circus circus, its one of the casino among the three giants which hosts its own casino. A perfect place to stay and enjoy in a casino.Easy check-in and check out.Rooms were good, what else one might in need of. One drawback which I thought is number of boards were very less and casinos were all filled with digital ones which seems to be slightly bothering. All the bar and restaurant were good. Even if you want to take a walk , best time is to go after 10PM . You can have a good view of the lights .The row is all integrated and you can move between all the 3 casinos . They too have play area like arcade games for little kids . Please note children are not allowed inside the casino . You need to have alternate arrangements for that.We loved this place more as this is only 50+ miles from Lake Tahoe and this was helping us to take rest after tiresome day in Lake Tahoe

One of the better hotels in the area it would seem. Rooms are very clean and modern in comparison to the competition. Plenty of food and entertainment options as this hotel spans across three different hotels that are all connected. The arcade was cool.Fitness center was probably the hottest, most poorly ventilated fitness center I’ve been in, and one of the smallest. Very difficult to do extended amounts of cardio. However, it was clean and available for use. So it was appreciated.

The staff was very helpful and very friendly. The casino was a big disappointment. We come to Circus Circus to play cards and have a good time. There were only four card tables and they were only open on Saturday. We were there four days and could only play cards one day. If we had known about the huge changes in the casino we wouldnt have stayed at Circus Circus. It was hard to find a place to eat. My husband is a huge buffet fan. The buffets were gone, replaced by the food court. The buffet at the Eldorado was never open while we were there. This was not the way i expected to celebrate our anniversary.Im not sure if we will be returning!

I stayed here for a conference. The rooms were big, bright, and adequately clean though worn in places. Definitely request a higher floor for the view. I was disappointed with how limited room service was; breakfast is only available on weekends and cant be pre-ordered. Skipping having my room cleaned for a credit at The Row restaurants was worthwhile, especially as it was cold enough that I didnt want to walk around outside. The bed was comfortable, but the desk chair was not. The size of the room contributes to accessibility, and there was a grab bar next to but not inside the show/bathtub.

It was closed for business. I had a reservation for the 25th. And I didnt know that circus circus had been closed down. I was never informed of it. Fortunately for me I went over to the silver legacy to ask them what was up. They told me that my reservation had been moved over to them. Do I ended up at the silver legacy. Not circus circus. So in the end. One star for circus circus. And five stars for the silver legacy.

Review №66

The layout of this place is so wonky. Make sure you stay in the North Tower (aka the one connected to the lobby) or else you will need to walk a long cold hallway with steps everywhere, ride a tram car that might be the saddest creation I have ever observed, or park in the garage below your room, which again has staircases everywhere in the weirdest places. I am young and strong, but will didnt have fun maneuvering the labyrinth to get to my not so great room. This place is oldschool. Also if you are going to charge me $30 for a resort fee, how about towels without blood on them, clean wash cloths!, and an extra blanket?? Maybe a breakfast discount coupon, etc. Anyway, go here for value not for luxury. I wouldnt come back unless I had kids to being for the arcade.

Upon arrival, since our event was cancelled, we decided to treat ourselves and upgrade to a suite. The bed was comfortable, and the jacuzzi tub was AWESOME ...but that’s about it for thrills. The room looked and smelled so old. Nothing matched, not the old mucky carpet, furniture or pictures on the walls. And the view was of the ac/heater units (which doors were open and filters capturing the rain/snow) and several torn down buildings. The antiquated a/c heater unit in the room was VERY LOUD. We booked when the prices were high, but given the world circumstances, we may have been the only residents in the casino tower. When we found we needed one extra night in Reno, we asked to stay in the room we were in. To our disappointment, we were told the tower was set for remodel in the morning and we had to move. No exceptions. And the room we moved to had the same ugly view. It was super small, and this “remodeled “ room had an even louder heat/a system. It had a connecting door and ugh, I could hear the neighbors doing their business in the bathroom. That means they heard me. I had not stayed in this resort in 20+ years, and won’t book here again. There are too many choices in this area with nicer rooms, better views and exemplary customer service. To their credit, the parking was plenty and free, and the other casinos are well within walking distance. And the reservation supervisor, Michelle, she appeared to do what she could to help.
