Went to play the Par 3 course but the greens had just been aerated so we went to the driving range instead and then at the course restaurant. The driving range is your normal driving range with one fantastic addition - space heaters!! We didnt need them on our visit but cant wait to go back on a cold and rainy day and take advantage. Dinner at the restaurant was great. We ate in an outdoor tented area (where there were also space heaters). Food was good - burgers and Caesar salad - typical golf club fare. Fun times!

We were very excited to play Willows as we heard they had made many improvements with the new owner. We pulled into the lot and the facilities were amazing. Proshop staff was friendly at first but then became incredibly rude when we showed up with 3 instead of the four we booked. One of our friends has severe asthma and cant play in this weather. Besides that we had a great experience (just wish the layout had more diversity) and really enjoyed the improvements on the maintenance side.

Willows Run offers excellent classes for beginners. Jim and Davey, in particular, are outstanding instructors. They lay out the fundamentals in a clear and easy-to-understand way. I learned a lot and had a lot of fun in their group. Great intro to golf!

Played the par three today and couldnt have been more disappointed, probably the worse condition course I have ever played. Tee boxes are dirt with no grass,3 to 4 inches of grass clippings throughout the course, divots all over the greens from previous players, and foliage is not kept up. If you going to have a par 3 course next to two great championship courses then it should be up to par with them and not a goat track.

Good track, nice greens. Walkable, not much slope.

I was incredibly disappointed with the overall condition of the course and the corresponding cost. Almost all of the tee boxes are missing large portions of grass, down to dirt and mostly uneven. This includes the first tee where it is down to dirt! They also dont appear to have been mowed for over a week. Greens in good shape. Literally large chunks of sod missing from fairways throughout the opening nine at Talons. Mounds of dirt left around #16 has been there for weeks if not longer. Just a total lack of maintenance and care for the course.I hadnt played here for a year or so and wont be going back anytime soon. $60 to walk a course that is less maintained than my back yard is unfortunate.

Wildly overpriced for the course conditions! Tee boxes have almost no grass left on em, fairways are terrible and the greens are bumpy. Rounds are very slow... but thats because demand is high, so I guess they dont feel like they have to spend money on maintenance as long as people are willing to pay for a mediocre at best product. Cant blame em I guess.

I golfed the Eagles Talon course September 30th, 2020. This course was not maintained at all! Grass clumps everywhere, tee to green. The fairways were like many public courses rough...and the rough was like US Open. So if you miss the fairway the ball would dissappear. The traps werent raked and the grass around the traps was so long that it hung into the traps, it was unbelievable. I dont set the bar very high for public courses, but they missed it. Save your money, dont go! Theyve had all summer to do maintenance and they wasted it.

If you love watching golf you will love this course! Because that is what you will spend the majority of your time here doing. Waiting and watching the group ahead of you play. Management here seems to be totally fine with overloading this course for a few extra greens fees. Even the course marshall seemed to think it is normal having a group on the green, a group waiting on the fairway and a group waiting on the tee box on every hole. Used to weekend golf in the king county area but this was exceptionally bad. The care said we were 40 mins behind pace and again the marshall said thsi was normal. 4 hours into the round we called it quits on the 14th hole. Not going back. Good luck to the rest of you.

I know its winter, and we paid winter rates, but the course today was not the tidy, well groomed course that I think of when I think of playing at Willows. There were branches on most of the fairways and mud on almost all of the cart paths; I would like to think there would be more of an effort to at least tidy up for those that brave the cold to play. Will come back in the spring/summer to see if the conditions improve.

I played 5/12 and i was embarrassed that I invited my friends out here. You couldn’t pay me to play it again. The conditions were horrible. Bumpy greens. Tee boxes were not mowed. They are cutting the fairways and blowing the grass into the uncut 6” rough. I would not recommend playing it right now until they put more work into the course.

Coyete Creek is in bad shape - even the Marshall told us they put the money towards the other course. Tees are beat up, greens had ball marks all over them, fairways looked beat up and if you land in a bunker use a old club because its rocks and sand. Starter had a bad attitude. Pace of play is slow - when I asked the marshall if its playing slow his answer was YUP - way to do you job. Best part of Coyete is the practice putting green, they maintained that. Nothing good at willows.

We played today and expected the course to be in good condition after the closure but were surprised to find it in terrible shape. It turns out we found out that the ownership had no employees during the closure and did no maintenance on the course other than an occasional mow. The greens were Lumpy the rough was deep with lots of grass clippings over the top so youd lose your ball. And we paid the same price we would have when the course was in regular condition.

The Positives!!! My first time at the facility 07-11-2020. Great staff, everyone I encountered was professional and pleasant. I enjoyed playing the eagles talon course, great fairways, generous width. The greens, hard and fast, lots of slope and grain, study your putt thoroughly, course knowledge will help you navigate better, lots of divots on each green I played, come on People!!!! Golf is about ethics and integrity, repair you ball marks,,, Really? Unbelievable. I am sure the experience would be better the second time around. I never met a golf Course I did not like. The negatives,,, the MENs room was a mess, TP & paper towels on the floor and just unkept, no seat gaskets in any of the stalls, Really? During the Covid epidemic you would think management would be proactive and assign someone to the restrooms every hour or so. Common surfaces dirty, wipe down the doors and commonly touched surfaces occasionally! All of the general public participants were CDC & Washington state compliant wearing a mask, and practicing social distancing, great job Washington!!Finally,, the cart paths are horrid!!!! I mean HORRID!!!!!I literally bit through my tongue and drew blood while driving the golf cart on the cart path,,, I hit a 10 to 12 pot hole (There ARE SEVERAL) while driving away from the third green On The Cart Path !!!!. This literally ruined my round!!! I bled from my mouth for at least the next 5-holes. This pot hole epidemic on the cart path is pure negligence!! Shame on you Facilities Maintenance and Management. The egregious negligence of the cart path continues throughout the Eagle Talons course. Come On Willows Run Golf Complex !! How hard is it to roll out there with some crushed stone and FILL IN THE POT HOLES??? Someone from Facilities and or Management needs to get OTA and gets out onto the cart paths to do their jobs!!!! Pure negligence !!! This issue did not happen overnight. Hopefully someone in management reads this and corrects the issue before another paying customer has the same unpleasant-regrettable experience. Paying customers, be mindful of the cart paths and have enjoy the outing. George Hagan.

“Winter play” I think I paid over $60 with a cart to play the mud pit they got down there in the valley.Tee boxes are a mud pit, the greens are bumpy and inconsistent. The sand traps are under repair. Course is just soaked and they can’t get the water outve there fast enough. The fairways are standing water in every shot. The only rolling the ball was doing was off the cart path.I knew what I was going to be getting into, but I was still surprised how the course was. This “complex” seemingly worse every year I come to it. More then likely my last time, March golf is not easy in WA; but I wouldn’t play this for $30 with a cart right now. Get a box of balls and range balls and it’s $90 in March. That’s simply insane around here.

Do not play here until they have time to get the courses in better shape. They clearly did not do much maintenance during the quarantine and scrambled to open on the 5th. The grass was ridiculously long on every surface, from green to fairway to rough, with unmowed patches all over the course- even on the fairways. It is absolutely shameful that Willows opened its course after the quarantine at full price and with no disclosure about conditions. Charging full price they should give a free sleeve of balls with purchase of a greens fee because the grass is so long one can literally lose a ball from driving the ball down the fairwayThis was surely a cash grab by the business trying to generate revenue despite the course being in dog sh*t condition. Shame on Willows management

This review os for the par 3 Heron Links course. My wife is brand new to golf and was excited to try this par 3 course. We made reservations and were welcomed when we arrived. After paying the $35.60 for two (a bargain really) we were told the greens had just been treated. Well the greens were completely worthless. This was really a worst case scenario for my total beginner wife. There are no real fairways to speak of. Some greens had a small extension toward the tee like and apron but not as nice. The grass between the tees and the greens otherwise is around 4 tall. Finding your ball if you dont hit the green is a challenge. We used orange balls after the first ball hunt. The bunkers are just weed filled holes. I laughed when I saw a rake in one. Should have left a heavy garden rake and maybe we could have cleaned it up a bit.The course is laid out nicely but beware of the many swamp and tall grass areas. Ive played a couple of other par 3s and this one is much more like a miniature version of a tough regular course. If you dont hit straight you will be losing a lot of balls! We actually left with more balls than we came with because the grass was so deep people couldnt find those balls that didnt hit the green from the tee shot. All in all the layout is nice and its challenging for a par 3.Its a good deal at $18 a person and occupied us for an hour and a half. We may try it again once the greens are repaired but as is you cant put straight for 2 feet.

Willows run is a great, family and beginner friendly course. Ive been taking lessons here for about 3 months and theyve been great. My fiancé is a member and frequently golfs on both of the 18 hole courses and really enjoys it.
