Great park with a huge variety of amenities. An all season pool is one of the largest draws. It also includes a summer splash pad. Probably next in popularity is the dog park. Pretty large dog park. You will also find the tennis complex, a senior center, playground, a bunch of baseball fields, other courts, and trails through the woods. Pretty much everything you could want.

Millbrook is a great tennis facility and Im proud that Raleigh has it. They just resurfaced a few of the courts and they look great. The facility as a whole is clean and well maintained. Right now, the restrooms are open, but limited to one person in there at a time.

Great park for the whole family. A senior center for older adults to stay active, outdoor basketball courts, playground for small children and another for bigger kids, community center for classes thru Raleigh Parks & Rec, a pool for lap swim and an outdoor splash pad and kiddie pool, a very large dog park with separate spaces for large and small dogs, a tennis center with at least a dozen courts, and a few greenway trails to walk on (mostly shaded). This park really does have something for everyone, and for families of all types and sizes.

Parking is usually available. There are 3 separate play areas for ages 2-12. There are 2 dog parks. They separate big dogs from the little ones. They have bathrooms and water fountains. There is a pool, basketball courts, baseball field, and football field. Its a very nice park overall and a great place to chill when the weather is nice.

Review №22

Good quantity of hard courts (like 23). It does tend to host a lot of leagues so if you wanna know if courts are gonna be available I recommend calling. You can reserve for a fee or you can call ahead and just show up for free if something is available. The quality of the courts is pretty good. The lights are great on the lower courts. Pretty poor on the upper courts as they arent very bright and so there are a ton of shadows. Two benches on every court is nice. They offer lessons, too.

Absolutely great place to take your dog to run around and play. Very large area fenced in for your dog to run wild and get their energies out. Lots of people or very few depending on what time you go. Gauge whats best for your dog and always set then up for success. If your dog is really rowdy, be sure to walk them and get their energy out prior to taking them. As counter intuitive and it seems, its best for all dogs. Pick up your poop! :D

One of the best kept secrets in north Raleigh. A beautiful place, so serene, so beautiful and a very comforting place. The people that come to Millbrook Exchange Park are the nicest and very friendly people. A place that you can bring your children of all ages and anyone of age. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at this place. So clean its so peaceful.

Great park. Lots of seating for owners, covered picnic benches as well. Small dog section. Most of the lot is covered in mulch. Theres a variety of different environments for your pupper to explore. Theres even a little playground area for the dogs behind the trees. I will say that the worst problem here is the owners. The community here is just not attentive as in other parks. Dogs tend to misbehave a bit more, and I dont think Ive visited without seeing a least one scuffle from dogs getting too hyper. If you have a well trained dog, bring them here and just be mindful. If you need to get a few more parks in as practice, probably seek out a different training place.

We’ve been coming here about 3-4 times a week for about a year and we love it. We went here before they got the renovations and now, it’s still much better. They have two sides of the dog park: one for small dogs and one for large dogs. We have a large dog, so we’ve never been on the small dog side, but it’s really nice. They have a dig pit, benches, picnic tables, a water station, plenty of shaded areas, and everybody has been very friendly.

Review №44

Great place to take your dog for an off leash experience. There is a designated side for big and little dogs. Even though the big dogs side is twice (maybe 3x) the size as the little dogs side, there is still a ton of space to play fetch on the small dog side. I take my little 3lbs Morkie out there all the time to play fetch and socialize with the other dogs. We can easily kill an hour throwing the ball back and forth. If the dog park is empty there are a few paths to walk on as well. For those who love sports there are a ton of courts (tennis and basketball) and fields (Baseball and soccer) available along with and indoor and outdoor pool (I believe you have to pay for the pool). There is also a play ground for the kids. Very clean park overall too, never see any littler on the ground.

Great dog park! Two separate areas for small dogs and large dogs. They offer watering stations and bins for dog waste. Unfortunately many people dont seem to think they should pick up their pups poo on the way to the play areas. Make sure to bring bags as some of the dispensers were empty. It would be even better if they had more agility equipment set up for dogs to play on. They have one ramp set up in the small dog area. But it would be awesome if there was a tunnel or posts to weave in and out of etc. Plenty of parking.

This review is just for the dog park at Millbrook Exchange Park. The dog park is huge (plenty of room for running) and is a must-visit for anyone that has a dog that loves to be around other dogs. I go to the dog park here and I love it! All the other dog owners are super friendly and welcoming. Sometimes theres a tiff between dogs but all the owners have been very responsible and diffused the situation very quickly. The park is usually very clean and there are tennis balls everywhere for dogs to play with. There is a lovely little pool too for the doggos to cool off in as well. They recently put in new lounging chairs for owners to relax in while they watch their dogs. This is definitely my go to dog park.

I used to love taking my dogs to the dog park here, but in the past year, there always seems to be at least one or two dog owners who dont know how to read signs of aggression exhibited by their dogs, which ends up in a dog fight. Most of the time, even after a fight occurs, the owner of the dog that was the aggressor doesnt remove their dog from the park after the incident as well. We tend to only go now if its very early in the morning, and leave at the first sign of a dog getting aggressive. Its a shame because its a really nice park and our dogs love it otherwise.
