The best clean comedy!! We wanted a fun date night but nothing we’d regret laughing at later. THIS IS IT. Attended the 8pm Saturday show. Fast paced, creative, unique, hilarious. You feel like you’re part of the fun- you shout suggestions, sing along, rate the acting/improv teams. HIGHLY recommend for dates, family (maybe best for kids who are old enough to get jokes), team building, group outings. You will be talking about the show way after it’s over.

I love comedy clubs. Being new to Raleigh, I dont have anyone to keep my child while I hang out. So, I googled Family Friendly Comedy Spots. This place came up and we attended the matinee. This was such a fun thing to do with my 9yr old. When my family came from out of state, we went again the very next weekend. It is easy to book online, the welcome at the door is genuine, the concession stand is filled with goodies at a great price. The show...ABSOLUTELY AWESOME!! I could go over and over again! We are still laughing and playing some of the games at home.

Very fun show. They get ther crowd into the show well. Was funny and very involved. Concession stand food choices could be better. I will definitely be back again. If you go to the 8 o clock show, you can stay for the 10 o clock show and I love that option. I loved the ref. And the guy on the mic. Just a very fun environment. And all shows are kid friendly except for the 10pm show which is fine with me. Still funny and will be back for that late show soon!!

Its awesome!! Everyone is so nice & friendly! When my boyfriend & I volunteered to be in 2 of the games, the people were very good to us, & helped us out a lot! I would definitely recommend going here to watch funny af performances! I also recommend volunteering to be part of it, you definitely wont regret it!

Absolutely amazing! My dad and I went in very skeptical, and we even discussed leaving early if we didnt like it. But oh my God it was so funny! I swear that the hour and a half felt like 10 minutes. Were from out of state, and this really made our trip more memorable! Highly recommend for people of all ages!

The interactive experience is great for the whole family, and can be different each time. Earlier shows especially are great for the whole family.

We were in Raleigh to visit friends. Went with them and their 2 boys.Lively and fun. Both of the kids were called up to participate and had a great time. And no fouls were called. Very family friendlyFun time. Recommended

The 8pm show is always very fun and entertaining! We’ve been several times and take friends any time people come to visit. They do a great job of keeping it family-friendly and engaging for all ages. They’re also just a very friendly crew, across the board!The later show is hit-and-miss. Recently we stayed for one of the late shows that was longform and it was pretty rough. I understand the longform style is a very different type of improv that builds and gets funnier, but this particular experience had few redeeming qualities.

Visited their show on a number of occasions and havent been disappointed once. The early and matinee shows are great for families and the late show makes a great date-night for couples.

Visited to do a professional development/communication workshop. The staff was personable, patient, and friendly, and the improv activities were well balanced to match our groups needs.

This place is perfect for a fun date night. I highly recommend the comedyworx show because its family friendly and more goofy than the other late night shows. For such a small place, they have a good snack and beer selection. Dont forget to rent some Paddles of Justice when you get there!

Our first time here was fantastic. We stayed for both Friday night shows and were thoroughly entertained! The place has a great vibe and the comedians were very funny and clever! I highly recommend visiting. We will definitely be coming back!

The people at ComedyWorx are hilariously talented, and you will not find more attentive hosts anywhere. We had a private (and fabulous) show for our staff party, and it was unanimously agreed that is was our best party ever. Chuck bent over sideways and backwards to accommodate us -- which was every bit as hot as it sounds -- to accommodate us and we really could not have been happier. Go see these folks. They work hard and they are truly good at what they do.

This is one of our favorite places to go for a night out! The actors and staff are awesome and we always have fun! I love that it’s clean comedy, that was a big draw for us.

Bailey is a wonderful improv instructor so if youre looking to take a class look out for ones with him! I quit two classes in but Im a worst case introvert. If not for that I would have loved to continue learning with them!

A really great value. We went to a Friday night, 8 p.m. show, and laughed hysterically as two local improv groups battled it out against each other.It was very inexpensive, and a great value. It was a family-friendly show, I would have no reservations about bringing my 7 year old to it.They have the kind of concessions that you would get at a movie theater and an extensive craft selection.They also offered a 10pm show which was more for the adult crowd, but in the PG-13 sense, not the rated R sense. That show also had us laughing until we hurt. Very, very talented group of performers, and it was quite evident that they enjoyed making everyone laugh.Its been a little while since we had been there, we went to the older location years ago. It made for a really great date night and we are looking forward to returning again and again with family and groups of friends.

Its fun for the whole family, or your wedding party, you choose. I recommend the family friendly 8 oclock show for a first date or family outing, and The Harry Show at 10 p.m. for when youre turning up on the weekend with your people. Both shows are great

Had a great time!.The show can vary in greatness depending on how many people are attending and the participation of the audience. However, everytime I go its different and its an awesome time. Go check it out, participate and have fun!

Bring some friends and get ready to laugh. An expert group of individuals will make fun of themselves, explore various world viewpoints, cliches, stereotypes and/or situations to invent new ways to make us laugh. Always a treat and their new location is dynamite to boot.

Small place, nothing fancy inside. Saw the improv show, while not my cup of tea, it was still enjoyable. Would go back to see some standup in the future. They have some basic food and drinks available as well. Good parking available in the rear.

Fun, inexpensive night out. The show we attended was The Breakdown. No audience involvement, other than suggestions, which was nice for our first time at an improv show. The venue is quite small, which could be a problem for groups unless you order tickets ahead and drinks were a bit pricey. Overall, I was happy with our experience and would attend another show!

For someone who had never been to an improv comedy show this exceeded all expectations. The staff were all kind and hilarious. They really work to get the crowd involved, but dont pressure anyone. Overall I would recommend this to anyone for a great date night!

First time out and we had a great time.My only regret is that we didnt find this place sooner! Oh, the wasted years...So much more fun than a movie - which is bad 50% of the time and in which I will have my chair kicked 100% of the time.The 8PM show was just right. Clean and fun and got us home for 10PM. No worries about taking kids or teens. It was totally appropriate.The talent was amazing. Surprised the place wasnt packed on a Saturday night.Seriously think about this if you lead a youth group or social-type meetup. Would make a fun night out.

My family and I traveled from Huntington, WV for a Make A Wish trip. We received tickets for a family friendly comedy club. We were concerned because alcohol was served there. Upon arrival we were blessed to find the family atmosphere. The group was GREAT. My daughters fell in love with one of the performers. After the show as we were leaving, I went to another performer and asked if Bailey could come out and give my handicapped daughter a hug. Without hesitation Bailey came out. She was so happy. Thank you Comedyworx for a great evening. I unfortunately can not give it four stars, because with the alcohol, it might appear unappealing to people with kids from out of town.

Great improv club! Been several times and always had a blast. Since its improv, you really dont know what youll get but thats part of the fun. Small and intimate but that adds to the appeal. Audience participation is highly recommended. Just note that the late shows are more adult content.

Whole family entertainment! They are moving to new facility in 2017, this will be their defining moment. The location they are in now (2016) is extremely dated.

Saw the Comedy Worx show, its improv so be prepared for the show quaility to depend on the crowd. Its a small place and they prioritize people who have paid online (I recommend doing this) and turned away several people at the door. I wasnt a fan of the venue, too small, loud, and uncomfortable.I havent seen the 10pm, mature show. Maybe that ones better, but I wasnt impressed with the 8pm family friendly show.

Playful and entertaining family show!

It was a little scary at first, but then the ref stepped in and made it okay. I never felt like I was in any danger. My belly hurt a little when I laughed. They gave me popcorn and told some funny jokes until I fell asleep. It was great I guess. Yeah. You should.

Great family fun! The shows are great intellectual comedy that appeals to all ages.

Worth the hour drive from Fayetteville!!! First, the $10 entry (military discount- Regular is $12) is dirt cheap for a comedy club and theres no 2-item minimum once youre in the door. Popcorn, drinks (lots of beer/cider/soda choices) and candy are very reasonably priced. The comedy is clean for the early shows and even the Harry show at 10pm wasnt past R-rated. Probably the only disappointment was the incredibly rude Millennial woman who volunteered at the 10pm show and proceeded to put down every cast member she could. The entire cast is really on top of their games. Stand-up comedy requires a decent amount of talent but Improv comedy requires all that and rapid-fire thinking and commentaries. I dont know how the cast does it but they make it look effortless. We will absolutely go again and Im so glad we found it!

If you enjoy improv comedy, then ComedyWorx is the Raleigh destination for you. They do shows much like the British or US Whos Line Is It Anyway? The venue is on the smaller side, but this lets you be up close to the action. The games involve audience suggestions and sometimes audience participation.They have a small concessions area with a movie theater-esque selection of candy and popcorn. They also serve beer in bottles.Beyond the comedy shows they also do workshops and classes on improvisation. They do an intro to improv every so often for free and it would be worth paying to attend, but you dont have to pay.
