Pullen Park is one of my doggos top favorite places to walk. There are tons of mental stimulation for her. The whole park kinda connects all around so its really cool to just keep walking and watch the scenery change from one part of the park to another. Theres also a small cafe which is convenient whenever we forget to bring our own drinks. Great selection of music over loud speakers. The park is well taken care of- almost never any clutter or trash randomly about. Staff is always super friendly! Great place for picnics, dates, photo sessions, workouts, yoga.. pretty much any outdoor activity. Theres plenty of open areas.

This is one of the most beautifully planned parks in Raleigh. I always go and have a fantastic time(even during Covid). The park is so well kept, I never feel like its dirty. There are plenty of things to look forward to, even with the amusement rides and the paddle boats being closed. I cant wait to go back again soon! Very relaxing and a great place to go on a walk.

The park had lots of things for children to do. Since it was an awesome day, the park was crowded. The park could have provided hand sanitizing stations. Some were wearing mask, others werent. But I understand that we were outside. There was not enough room for social distancing. I took my grandkids away from the play area and we had a picnic without a lot of traffic. When others saw us, they chose to maintain safe distancing.

Very disorganized with how they do the train ride now. They make you download an app but they don’t tell you until you have purchased the ticket. No one seems to know how long you wait. The app never texted us like they claimed. There is no rhyme or reason to who goes at what time. They really need to rethink how to get better things organized.

Did you know that Pullen Park is 5th-oldest amusement park in the U.S. and 16th oldest in the world. It is also the first public park in North Carolina. At Pullen Park you can rent a pedal boat, ride a carousel, take a swim, sign up for an art class, see a play, play your favorite sport and more.Unfortunately, all of this is fun things is unavailable due quarantine. But at least its open for a walk. You can enjoy very tasty ice cream. Make a nice picture and just relax with your family or friends. There are a lot of hungry fishes and ducks.

Its definitely a nice place with beautiful scenery. Beautiful large pond and bridges for picture taking and having parties, as we saw several today. There is a kiddie boat ride for kids but it is dreadfully slow. The train ride is okay. I think with all the hype, I was expecting more or for it to be larger. I would rather take my familty to the Childrens Museum of Life and Science in Durham. But the prices for the rides are super low! So thats a big win!

One of our very favorite parks in the Raleigh area. Ive been coming here for almost 40 years. They have great playground equipment and swings for the whole fam. The snack bar has really gotten better over the years. Make sure to buy some tickets for the train and the classic carousel, the same one I rode as a boy. Theres lots of room to spread out and some really nice picnic spots. The paddle boats are fun if its not too hot, but make sure you pack the sunscreen. They also have a little gift shop and reading area if you want to take a little break from playing. Pullen park is a long standing tradition in the Raleigh area. There is no charge for the playground areas and tickets for the train ride and carousel are reasonable and our 2 and 6 year old loved both. There are a generous number of parking spots and a food vendor on site. My wife grew up visiting the park and we were happy to bring our children there as well. The pyramid shape rope climbing installation was a favorite of our older child and the younger one loved playing in the sand. Plan accordingly for cleaning up after sand play..
