Love this place, minus the confusing sign how to pay for parking. Understandable due to the COVID season. Also just a mental note don’t leave any valuable in the car because there are lots of homeless people roaming around. Not trying to be discriminate, more of being safe than sorry.

Beautiful and amazing views of Portland. But kind of scary. I saw a lot of tents and trash along the path. Wish we could all be more mindful of taking care of our beautiful city.

Good place for a walk or bike ride. Unwind with amazing views of downtown, the bridges, with the mountains as backdrop, and of course the Willamette. Good spot to pass time. The esplanade is a long stretch, you could spend hours walking back and forth. Find a street parking spot somewhere nearby and you can be on your way!

I can pick my best shots and transfer them to Eastbank. Which keeps then in one place and I will not have to search through tons of unnecessary pictures.

Nice area to walk or ride a bicycle. Most of all, it has beautiful views and its a lovely spot to take photos of the citys skyline, particularly at night. The area can seem a bit dangerous alone, because at night its not very well lit. Overall cool area

Weve been traveling all over the US the last 12 months. Portland has the best overall biking lanes by far. What a great model for the rest of our cities!

Beautiful on a sunny day, but prepare to cross paths with numerous homeless people who may ask you for money. One woman I passed was acting as though she may have been on hard drugs.

This place means a lot to me. There is a drum circle every Sunday evening, all year round under the Hawthorne bridge. Lots of cool people and great music. Also a wonderful place to walk, run, jog, bike, relax by the water. Great spot in Portland.

Eastbank woop woop! If you stray off the path you may find refuse of various sorts, but considering its pretty much a nest of on-and-off-ramps, its nice to have a place to take a walk and, if feeling adventurous, actually jump off that concrete path and trek up to the water.

What a view! You can see all of downtown Portland from here with such sweeping views. The colors make a stunning background, and there werent really a ton of people, so we had free reign of the place.

I really enjoy coming to eastbank esplanade. A great place to run, bike, walk, or just look at the water. Really scenic and a such pretty place in general. I love a place with great views. To be honest, I am not a huge fan of the parking options offered here.. It can be really dirty and gross walking under the bridges but not so much along the river. Other than that no other real complaints. I like coming here. I would definitely recommend coming here and seeing it for yourself.

We love this as a mellow, family friendly spot to watch the fireworks, but the last 2 years only one of the porta potties was usable and it was full long before the show even started. Oh, and both were out of toilet paper before 7pm.
