I love this gallery. Its small but always has great exhibits. The owner is really good at curating and there are usually three to four artist displays. There are also many local artisan wares such as jewelry, pottery, photography and even interesting, unusual needlepoint pieces. Do stop in if youre ever on Alberta Street. Its one of my very favorite places and really chill with zero pretension.

This is one of the most eclectic and fun galleries in Portland. A wide array artists with more than a couple of pieces representing each.

Would have given a 4 or 5 except last time I was there, it was soooo hot. Some A/C would be nice for patrons who dont do well in the heat.

Lovely owner - had a chat to me about Australia where Im from plus discussed whats on and being curated. Currently has a lovely exhibit by an animator who made amazing dioramas. See whats in - changes regularly.

Guardino Gallery is run so professionally; the walls are perfect compositions and the variety is awesome. I like it that so many artists can have shows at the same time--two in the main room, two in the smaller room each month. The crowds that view the art seem, for the most part, genuinely interested in viewing, and even on Opening Night it is fun to bob around and try to see over peoples heads to glimpse the art. Opening nights are quite celebratory! And then the shows are up for a whole month, so you have time to come back and really look. You have time to buy, if you fall in love with any particular piece, and the gallery owner will let you pay in installments--at least this is what I heard. The prices are quite fair; in fact there are deals, considering the high quality of the art displayed. Thank you, Guardino Gallery.

Small but usually packed with amazing work. Friendly info on the backgrounds of artists and related things. Usually easy to get to, out of the high traffic areas.

Donna is the consummate hostess for my favorite Portland area artists, new and old. Last Thursday opening events have become a staple outing for me over the last decade with Guardino s as my first and last stop :)

I love stopping by the Guardino Gallery every time Im on Alberta to see what they have in new. I thoroughly enjoyed shooting their Google Business Photos (See Inside on the right ----->) and getting to know the owners.

This is the only gallery I know of that I am consistently interested in walking into to. They pick great stuff to go in here and usually have moderately priced smaller items for everyday art lovers.

This is the perfect gallery, for your grandmother. Dusty, boring, crafty art work that is totally overpriced. And the owner is super rude. Dont waste your time.
