My friends and I were visiting from Seattle and were looking for a fun night out to celebrate our friends birthday. We were looking for a club that played hip hop and stumbled across District. Hosts, Ryan and Ariel went above and beyond to accommodate our group of 16. They decorated our table and went out of their way to make sure our evening was special - hands down the best service I have ever received at a club! Thanks again Ryan and Ariel!! We will definitely be back and I highly recommend everyone check out this gem!

We went to District after the 4 O.T. Blazers game and had a great night. The interior is so dope. The drinks were good, and not overly expensive. The service was great, and we liked the coziness of the place. There is an upstairs, which we didnt get to because we were too busy enjoying the music. Their DJ was hella dope. His name is Mikey B, and hes great at what he does. Overall, I loved District. So glad we ended up there.

This bar has a nice ambiance but not a bar I would go to during the day to enjoy a drink. It is too dark inside but I would find myself here for more of a nightlife feel.

I walked in and asked the bartender what her specialty drink was. She told me she didn’t like the way I looked and told me I had to leave.I am in my 50s so no chance I was using a fake ID.I was not intoxicated.I was staying at a local hotel so did not need to worry about driving.I was appropriately dressed wearing a pink cashmere sweater with jeans I had shoes on (boots to be exact).I asked her what it was I had done wrong, she poured me a glass of water and told me I could drink that and then she was going to call security and have me arrested if I didn’t leave.I would have loved to have found out why she was being so discriminatory, But I did not want to take the chance of being dragged out of there and arrested ( though I am not sure what I could have possibly been charged with).So I guess my only experience with this establishment is if they don’t like the way you look they throw you out. But no worries there are plenty more places in the neighborhood with good drinks, music and food who will treat you well.

Great location and fun hip hop or house music. Its small and the crowd is a bit on the bro side. Not a lot of seating.

I was there, only customer in the place. $15 for a gin and tonic. Bad pour, and took 5 min to get. Soup it, head to the oyster bar next door. Top notch service.

Dj would not respond to me when asking for a song request and finally after asking a few times he blew up on me and told me to quit asking he’s not playing anything that he doesn’t want to play. Need a more personal dj that’s what happens when you hire the cheapest dj

I sat around at a tiny yet empty bar for about 5 minutes before someone decided to help me. After that warm welcome, I was served a well vodka and red bull for 10 dollars. Oddly, it seemed to have almost no vodka in it at all. It mustve been an especially smooth shot of unusually high-priced basement quality vodka.And then theres the music. Not just that it kinda sucked, the audio was terrible. All volume. No quality or clarity. You literally cannot order a drink without yelling back and forth with the bartender over Drakes latest record, which I can only assume is being played on an antique megaphone.I have never been happier to walk out of a place with the sole intention of spending my time and money elsewhere.

Great place for drinks, music, and friends. District is always a crowd favorite for pre-game drinks and meeting friends because its right in the center of downtowns nightlife district and the bartenders provide exceptional service.I highly recommend District.

It was fun and a good stop downtown, but with a Vesper martini on the special board, they should have actual martini glasses.

Bad experience. I went there with a friend and it seemed like a cool place to chill and have a drink. However, me and my friend sat at the bar for 10 minutes and the two bartenders that were working ignored us. We decided to get up and leave. I think they only like to serve certain people with certain looks. I cant believe this happened to us in Portland. Out of all places.

Music was ok if you like deafening, mindless rap music. Cocktails were horrible. I ordered a whiskey sour which included just whiskey and Sprite for 10 dollars. I dont think there were more than two ingredients in any of their cocktails.
