Nothing special. Has a nice paved and dirt path to run. Some basketball and tennis courts, play structures, swings. They are kind of separate from running path area. Running path area has lots of open space to hold a picnic, so martial art type things, read a book, relax. As a Michigander, I enjoyed this park

I love this theater because of the vintage feel and the intimate, comfortable atmosphere. Along with some tasty food, the staff is nice and welcoming! The matinee shows are affordable and so are the food/drinks! Most theaters cost almost $40-50 at concession. At Laurelhurst, I went in and got candy, a slice and a couple beers for around $20 (including tip :)

Vintage movie theater is simply beautiful. The staff is about the friendliest I ever encountered at a movie theater. But this isn’t you average Joe theater! The sell beer, gourmet pizza and fresh popcorn. They serve your pizza on a plate so when you leave remember to drop it in the dish pan. The seating has the table in front so you can enjoy the movie and don’t have to hold your food in your hand. It’s like you have the luxury of watching a movie in the comfort of your home only the screen is larger and the sound is better.

Theres always a good selection of films playing. Im so grateful that they hosted the Oscars shorts for live action and animation; I watched both on $6 Tuesday. The rooms are intimate,so I encourage you to buy tickets in advance if its a new and/or popular movie The seats are comfortable and the food & drink choices are unbeatable. In a town with several good theaters, this is one of the very best.

Ranks among my favorite little theaters. They sell the same number of tickets as seats they have and its general admission seating, so if you show up late with a date and want to sit together, you might end up having to sit in the very front corner or split up. The staff at the snack bar gives great beer advice and is happy to chat. One of the coolest things is this theater has chalkboards outside the individual theaters with really nice drawings of posters for the film theyre showing.

This might be the cheapest theater in Portland, which is great. Tickets are like three or four dollars. The place is historic at best but also seems pretty run down, especially the bathrooms. One nice aspect is the extra room in the seating area with tables. If you get there early you can get one of these seats and stretch out your legs.

Great Move movie theater that shows many different movies at the same time which is awesome. The tickets prices were amazing --- even a discount for seniors. It’s fun to eat Pizza beer and popcorn while watching a movie. They change the movies often so definitely check the listings for the day you’re going.

There are so many great theaters in Portland, and Laurelhurst is absolutely among them. Its a lovely mix of the antique theater vibe and an oh so hip Portland vibe. You can expect a MUCH better selection of snacks and drinks than at your regular old IMAX or Regal. The only thing is it can get reaaaally chilly in there, so bring a coat or blanket.

***Employee stole my wallet*** On march 6th my girlfriend and I came by to watch a movie in the evening. I had my wallet at the time of entry purchased food and we sat 4th row from the front and no one sat around us only a few people in the back. The same employee who I bought food from was the one who was cleaning the theater area once we got up. I left the wallet in the cup holder and once we got outside me and my girlfriend returned back to our seats to get it. At the same time he was sweeping our area. I asked him to empty his pockets but he refused and was super shady! I came out front to talk to the other staff and they just asked me to write my contact info down. Enjoy that 150bucks cash and cheap hershel wallet you thief.

First time visiting the Laurelhurst Theater today. Great place with excellent prices. If youre looking for the sleek, modern typical mall theater, look elsewhere. This theater offers a bit of nostalgia that wont break the bank. Check out a matinee show for $6.00 and grab a slice of pizza and beer for an additional $10.00.A Sunday afternoon for less than $20.00. Street parking which is free depending where you park. Smaller theater with charm, friendly staff and great prices.

This place is so cute and quirky and Im so glad I decided to check it out. I was staying in the downtown area and so it was a short drive from my hotel compared to other theaters within walking distance, but it was worth it. This place is the best, you can buy your tickets online which is super convenient. We had pizza, popcorn, and a pitcher of the sweet cider and it was so reasonably priced. I was stoked upon entering the theater to see little tables! Eating in a movie theater has never been so easy. Also, the washrooms were clean and the staff here were very friendly and welcoming.

I have been going to Laurelhurst Theater for at least 15 years, maybe more. I see movies there 4-5 times a month. The service is always the same (perfect). Pizza, and beer, are solid, always, and the ticket price is a mere $4. What’s not to love, ya’ll? Laurelhurst Theater is also a time capsule in homage to the Portland that used to be. I sincerely hope that this institution stays here for good. Portland needs its second-run theaters, and this is one of the best!

What happened to this once wonderful and iconic establishment that was actually of quality? I just moved back to the city, and sadly found that Laurelhurst has undergone new ownership and policy. No more classic reruns at an affordable price. I would have paid your current price to continue having a place to enjoy the greats. Your selection is cliche, watered down, and clearly caters to the superficial. You were my and a large portion of this cities favorite staple that represented why this city was special. Shame on you....and sad days.

The customer service at laurelhust theater is disappointing. I came for an afternoon showing and was turned away after already purchasing my tickets because my license had been expired barely one month. I am 22 years old. I did not receive a refund and very little sympathy came from the attendant at the ticket counter despite denying my entrance. The fact that it was 1pm, I would not be drinking and I could not just enjoy an already purchased ticket for a movie was ridiculous. I was given ticket vouchers for a future showing when I should have received a refund and management verification that it was impossible for me to enter the theater with a barely expired ID. The OLCC laws are not a valid excuse to treat customers the way I was treated.

If i could review them from a couple years ago i would have given them 5 stars. However, now that theyre charging dang near Cinemark/Regal pricing for first run movies in inferior (well not inferior but older tech screens/sound systems) I have to ask why? Your segment is second run and independent films at value prices, the first run theaters are offering deals and promos all the time that either rival or beat the new prices here. I guess the draw is I can buy craft beer here than at the other locations... but then thats what bags or purses are for. If the price increase is for the benefit of the employees Ill gladly pay it, but something tells me the employees are not going to receive an increase or health benefits from the new pricing structure to quote a horrendous human being SAD

Very disappointed and displeased with my recent experience at this theatre. Purchased tickets online ahead of time for show - thus expecting to turn up, have them scanned, and view film. The charge included a service fee. Instead, after searching for parking for several minutes, my husband and I arrived to a queue stretching round the block. We proceeded to the entrance, assuming that since we already had tickets, we could head in. We were then presented with a sign on the door saying that if you had purchased tickets online, they had to be redeemed at the box office - meaning we had to join the queue. We confirmed with others waiting that this was indeed the case. As we approached the box office (after already waiting about 15 minutes), some staff member came out and made a barely audible announcement, which seemed to be that those who had purchased tickets online could come inside and join a different queue to be checked in. We opted to stay put. By the time we reached the box office, the film was sold out and the start time had already passed. We thus requested a refund; the only bright point of the experience was the apologetic cashier who gave us a refund with no hassle. I contacted the management by email immediately following regarding this inconvenient and inefficient practice and have received no response whatsoever. It is ridiculous to permit online purchase of tickets with an extra service fee (for what does this possibly pay?) for a film only to require customers to then wait in queue to redeem said tickets. Just another example of what makes Portland seem like an amateur small town masquerading as a city. We do not plan to return to this cinema.
