A noble effort during Covid. If theres 4 or 5 in your car, its worth the cost. Since theres just 2 of us in our household and thus 2 in the car, it was too expensive for the 15-20 minutes of entertainment and 40 min. wait. We booked early to get in to he haunt we most wanted, then they cancelled our ticket and we had to rebook with only one left that was our last choice, so perhaps a different one would have been more worth it. Though, we appreciated the brother uncle and cousin brother references. :-)

Great for the family. Not to scary and nice to have a story line to watch.. first yr scary house drive through. I did notice they have a different option as well, a more scarier one. Next yr me and the family will be going to the scarier one to give it a try. Well worth the 90$

We did the drive-thru haunted house at Oaks Park this year. I think it has a lot of potential, and it could have been so much better if the show was longer and more special effects were used. When the show was over we all kinda felt like, “oh that’s it?” It was a little lackluster, but I understand this was a brand new experience for everyone with the pandemic situation. If drive-thru haunted houses are going to be a thing, they should step up their game and plan a much better show for next year because the price we paid for a ticket definitely did not match the entertainment (or lack thereof). The creative idea is really great, and they get 3 stars for effort, but please try harder next time with a longer show and better special effects! (Maybe now that they’ve got our $$, they’ll have a bigger budget for next year)

This place has a little bit of everything for everyone. There are food vendors, typical fair fare (couldnt resist the pun, sorry!). Walking through the midway it feels very much like a county fair with roller coasters, games of chance, and food and snacks. But if you walk away from the midway you can stroll along a path that gives you views of the Willamette River and downtown Portland, and feels very park-like. There are spaces in this park setting that you can reserve for quinceañaras, birthdays, etc, and then there are spaces with signs saying First come, first served. Call ahead. Walking the midway is free, but it costs to ride the roller coasters. Call ahead for rates. Also, I noticed that the midway closed at 7 pm on a Saturday, so be sure to call for hours! But all in all this is a really lovely place to spend a day.

We did not think this was worth the price or time. We were there 10 minutes before our ticketed time and didnt get to the attraction for almost 45 minutes after it. The video and the 2 scenes were cheesy and not at all scary. The actors smeared stuff all over the car and several of their hits to the car seemed overly hard - we were worried that it was leaving dents!! The car wash was a complete waste of time as it didnt even get most of the goo the actors smeared on our car. Definitely wouldnt return or recommend....sure, we got out of the house for a bit but would rather have spent this on a nice meal. Big disappointment.

I gave Oaks Amusement Park Haunted House 3 stars just because it didnt scare my husband or myself and I am the person who gets scared the easiest. Now that is saying something. The other reason I gave them a 3 star was because it did scare my kids so that counts for something.

If I could give a negative number I would. The Haunted drive through was the lamest thing I have ever experienced. 4 actors total, and nothing to hold your attention. What did we just pay $80.00 for?!?!? Do not waist your time or money. This was all hype on social media and tv: We went to the “scariest” attraction, the sad thing was, the actors even seemed bored.

Haunted drive thru attraction: Absolute waste of time and money. We had an 8pm reserved time and finally went in around 10ish...okay, whatever, these things always take longer than expected BUT THEN the actual performance and haunted house was THE WORST Ive ever been to...think unpainted cardboard cut out props and an end that we literally had to ask the guy, is that it? Best part was being with friends in our car for two hours and the car wash at the end...very disappointed!

Me and my parents went to the haunted drive threw!! Pretty cool btw YOU NEED TO GET THE POPCORN it’s so good one of the things that made the visit worth it!! :) the actors were trying really hard to do their best! The staff were so so nice and surprisingly not dead in side from being in quarantine :p the scenes were ok but there are some AMAZING BITS in the scenes. The actors were also amazing really acted the part even tho they weren’t up in our face and couldn’t actually speak to us. The effort put into this was amazing. Btw I marked down a star since it wasn’t SUPER SCARY so it’s great to bring people who get scared easily or young. It was pretty pricy but at least it put ALOT of staff in a job during these troubling times. So I guess it’s worth it. Remember GET THE POPCORN or else.........

Enjoyed a great day of family fun here on the 4th of July. Those who wanted to got ride bracelets others played games, ate and played mini golf. We so watched a fun little music/circus performance from a local kids camp. Great community feel here! While its a fun little family park thats mostly just a carnival, the 5 stars are for the AMAZING fireworks display. It was hands down the best fireworks display Ive seen outside of Disneyland. It must have lasted at least half an hour. We get thinking it was the finale and we would give a big applause and then it kept going and going.

Its giving us a chance to do something with these hard times because you, people dying and what not. Understand what your signing up for. My family had a really good time running around getting on various rides. They have a nice set up that feels like a blast from the past if youre looking for a nostalgic experience. The bracelets make it easy to move about the park even though the scanning technology seems to slow down the lines and the workers are you what youd expect. The park closed at 5pm which felt early and the traffic backed up as everyone was trying to leave at the same time. Id recommend sitting down and eating a snack and chatting for a half hour to let the traffic clear.

Oaks has been around forever, as has some of the rides there. Im 58 and it seems that the park hasnt changed much since I was a kid. Best in the area. Our kids love it. Most of the rides are spinning rides, so if youre not a fan of constant spinning it may not be right for you. Far from the Disneyland or/and from the universal studio?! Visit this little fun place. Especially during hot summer season. Offers discount rides which is very reasonable. Under the shade areas are great place to relax with IPA. Age of this establishment, might need to update most rides and comfort amenities. However, known this fun place is safe, have not heard any major accidents. Probably needs more attractions in order to visit one more. Food offerings are all classic American foods. Icicles, sugar glades, burgers, fries, hot dogs, and kiddos favorites. Whatever, anyway just for one day? Just have fun. Bet your child would easily fall asleep after hard day at the amusement park.

Oaks Amusement has some amazing rides including, my favorite, Adrenaline Peak. The rides and ride staff are great, but the food was not. We ordered two burgers and two fries at the snack bar, in the roller rink, for just under $15. We waited over 30 minutes when we were told that the wait would be less than 10. While we were waiting I saw a staff member eating a corndog behind the counter, which I believe is a health code violation.

I haven’t been to oaks park since I was 12 or 13, but when I just happened to be hiking through oaks bottom I thought I could see people strolling around the park when it was closed for the season! I thought to myself no way they’d let people do that, so I cautiously walked up and peered around haha. About a minute later I asked an oaks park lady on a golf cart if it was okay for me to walk around, she said “sure, walk right in” I was almost on cloud nine. The one thing I was the most intrigued by was this seemingly original to the park house that overhangs the beach near the dance pavilion. It looks like someone lives there, but the condition is in dire straits and quite a site to behold. Just another mystery from a different time I suppose. The amount of history as you walk through the place is all around you. The dance pavilion being one of my greatest curiosities as well as the zoo they used to run. Yes, oaks park had animals, including bears. I kept finding myself wondering what it would have been like to stroll through the park in 1920. Fascinating.

Oaks Park is so many things that its kind of hard to describe. Free parking and admission? Yes. Shady riverside picnic area? Yes. Midway with lots of games? Yes. The best rides between Seattle and San Francisco? Sure. A roller skating rink? That too. The only clunky thing is the way that you access all this stuff is by buying either tickets or a ride bracelet, and it can be confusing for uninitiated as to what all you can use the bracelet for. Website explains it all tho.
