Excellent golf course for those of us who are not was good as we think we are. Golf shop people are knowledgeable and nice.

*WARNING. There are 2 courses here. They dont advertise that the Palms Course is walking only for the self distancing period. Also, at least half the greens have been moved to the fairways. A silver lining is that it was only $16 to play and walk. It also looks like itll be very nice when things return to normal.

Galuppis at the golf course was pleasant. The salads were good. Again, a waitress who did not have her mask covering her face, but gave an excuse that we would not hear her if her mask was over her mouth not going back until after this pandemic is over.

Ive wanted to play there and its a well maintained Municipal Golf Course . Very friendly and offer womens events. I was really happy with the outdoor space Restaurant Galuupis. Happy hour live music and Womens night $5 appetizers! Most relaxing fun atmosphere for anyone. Dont like golf? Youre going to love that restaurant and bar!!!

Galuppis is a indoor outdoor restaurant with an excellent menu and live music !! There are several bars and plenty of seating available..Reservations are recommend when theres a popular band scheduled to perform.. The menu exceeded my expectations and the servers are very warm and accomadating always !

Great food, atmosphere, people..We eat there several times a week. Usually, for lunch. Caught, the live music once, I loved the new stage, and cover band that night.

We played 18 holes yesterday! It was hot! We’re locals and regulars to this place! Love playing here! But when it’s peak season our prices as locals goes up so high! Locals should pay the same rate year round! We keep them in business when it’s their slow season! Lots of beautiful wildlife to see! A bandit ( raccoon) while I was on the green snuck into our golf cart stole everything! I yelled at it ran towards it and scared it so much he left most! Ha ha. Was funny. Put your personal items up high! Love this course!

The folks in the proshop and denis are always helpful to our family. We are grateful for you all reopening and keeping the community safe by practicing social distance guidelines.

Great course, awful experience at club house. The Course ranger got really disrespectful and kicked us off the course at 7:30. Do not recommend. Needs new cart crew

Thank you Pompano Beach Golf e I enjoyed my time there it was my first time going to the driving range in Florida being here five years they made it very comfortable to go hit balls on the Range we will definitely be coming back for more balls on the Range I want to do a detailed review so I get my extra 10 points

Came here Saturday for Lunch then we decided to go golfing. Great time! Meg and Kim were incredibly professional and such fun, hardworking girls! Because of the wonderful service we received Saturday we decided to come back again Sunday for brunch (Very great food!) and more golfing. Unfortunately, Meg and Kim were not there to serve us, but the two ladies Robin, and Sharon were very sweet as well! Thanks for making our golfing weekend so enjoyable, ladies! We will be back! A++++ staff, galuppis!

Golf is our old tradition with friends, we have been looking for a club for a long time where we want to come constantly, Pompano Beach has beautiful nature, you can have a great time and have a tasty meal after the game, I feel that this has already become our favorite place to play

If you are a casual golfer who just likes to have a good time, come out here on a Saturday and play the Palms course. Its cheaper, slower paced and Kim and Meagan will give you the best service! These two know how to have a good time and make sure you are also having a ball! Grab a cocktail from them to take the edge off your golf game and relax! I come out here with my wife sometimes and also with the boys and staff makes it so fun for us! These girls are out there from sun up to sun down and are still laughing and smiling. Stellar staff!

Amazing course conditions on the Norman side. The other course is also maintained very decently, however the rough is extremely thick so bring some balls you are not afraid to lose. Overall a great experience, with a friendly staff. Would highly recommend!

Visited the course on a Friday during twilight hours.Good: Pace of play was great, weather was awesome, starter was friendly and accommodating, and greens fees were fair.Bad: Friendliness of pro shop staff (rushed when I called in to ask questions and condescending tone when I asked questions about the course), forced to pay greens fees for my wife to simply ride along with me (regardless of their policy, this is a money grab in my opinion), course reminded me of a city course I’d play in Indiana (minus the palm trees) and we ordered food on the 2nd hole and never received it.

The Palms is not very well maintained. The fairways are rough and the greens are so patchy (dead) that Arnold Palmer wouldnt be able to put the ball in the cup . The rental clubs were filthy.Dont recommend this course

This is a review of Palm course. The best thing I like about this course is you can walk any time so I can get more exercise. If you choose to use a cart, you can take advantage of a great golf GPS. There are some holes that features blind approach shots and many holes require long accurate tee shot so it is challenging to me. The restaurant look nice but I havent tried it yet. The practice facilities are okay.

Been coming here regularly for such a long time. The new guy in charge of the palms has done wonderful job making it better. Greens are also a lot better on the pines. good job to bryan. this is a fun casual course to play and glad its close by. The girls Megan and Kimbery are so great and provide such wonderful service. Make sure you come on a day they are working if you want to be served drinks, its worth it! We usually just text them to see if they are working and if they are not working, you may not see the other girls so you can go on the palms and when you make the turn you can buy drinks frpm suzie and the other kim at galuppis. Pro shop staff is hit or miss.

Ive been coming here to play on my visits to the area for 20 years but havent been back to the area in about 10 years. Overall it was OK but I was expecting better conditions, frankly. I was especially interested in playing the Pines because I had heard that it had been renovated by Greg Normans company and was the first municipal course in the country he had undertaken.For the extra bucks it costs to play the Pines (because of Norman) its really not worth it. Many of the greens were missing sections of grass and the fairways were pretty crappy as well. The overall design or redesign is good though but I had a hard time figuring out what big changes Greg Norman had actually made.The Palms course is a real mess. It just looks like basic minimum golf course maintenance, even for a muni, is nonexistent. This is a shame because overall, both courses are not bad but they both could be so much better. The course just needs more dedication to basic maintenance and irrigation.

Its a good place for peoples likes to play Golf.

Pro shop small but fully stocked Great dining area . For a Muni course Pines .. very disappointed.Not worth $65 greens fee. Course is a cow pasture. Bathrooms on course closed. Every green is shot. 1 thru 18 must be totally replaced. Every palm across the entire course needs trimming. Major renovation required.

My wife and I played the Palms course. We had a good time. The greens, fairways, and tees were in great shape. The view was wonderful. My wife is fairly new to golf and she thought the place was really nice. I think we found a new place to play every weekend.Our golf cart died on hole 14. Club house was out there in less than 10 minutes to give us a new cart.

I go to the driving range here when Im in town to warm up the game

Had a terrible experience with Pompano Beach Municipal Course on Memorial Day. First off, they told me $35 on the phone and it turned out to be $40. No big deal, although the ladies behind the glass could care less. (What kind of golf course treats you like you are buying tickets at a box office?) Then, we get out to play and there is no one driving a cart service liquids even though it was 95 degrees out. The worst part is that the Pines course is designed so the turn at 9 is no where near the clubhouse. My friend and I went to split a Gatorade at a machine at hole 8 because that is ALL THEY HAD and we were dying. No ice, no water, no cart with drinks, nothing. So we go to get a Gatorade and GUESS WHAT!! The machine doesnt take anything other than dollar bills!!! This course is a prime example of why business run by the government will always leave you disappointed and frustrated. NO ONE CARES!!!!!

Course and staff use to be phenomenal over the years major decline in customer service from pro shop and condition of course. The pines remodel lasted a solid year and a half until that started a decline which is a shame because the Greg Norman team did an outstanding job remodeling it. The palms course is like a cow pasture and the rates charged are ridiculous for such conditions.

If you like To play fast and its cheap

Went for Sunday brunch at 1pm and nearly all the food was old, cold, or not fresh. Service was poor a well. Football games were starting but if thats the focus then end brunch offering.

Well...just finished,wow what a mess that place is so sad. Cool layout but absolute horrid conditions. Greens are a joke.Dont waste your money unless you have no where else to go.

I take my Jacky Russell to the dog park.She loves it.

Might have been just me, but I love the new Norman course. The fairways and greens are in great shape right now and the golf course is still challenging to a decent golfer. The other course isnt in the best condition but I still recommend this golf club.

What can one say. Way over priced for the condition it was in. I think Mr. Norman should take his name off of the course all together. It is a $30 course at best. As you play you realize how bad it looks up close. In fact having been a Pompano Beach resident for many years this was my first time there in 10 years and it will be my last. Palm Aire is a better course for less money and only ten minutes away.

Jose... the Guardian of this course is like a hawk. If you even attempt to play an extra hole after closing time (dusk) hell hunt you down. So, dont even think about it.

We were at the restuarant next to the Golf shop. It is called Galluppis and it is a very good place for Sunday brunch with an awesome buffet or for lunch any time. I have never been disappointed in the food. Always good quality and reasonably priced. Nice outdoor bar and seating witb views of the golf course and Pompano Air Park .

The food presentation wasnt pleasing too the eyes. The taste was just ok. Overprice Food. When theres a large crowd, customer service is poor and reservations are change.

Dined at Gulippis for Thankgiving. Excellent buffet with a great variety of turkey and other traditional meats. Sides galore and of course desert. Wait service was excellent. Looking forward to their next buffet.If you love ribs, try their Monday night fullrack for 11.99 and on Tuesday, delicious NY strip steak also 11.99. Must purchase a beverage. You wont be disappointed.

Very slow going. A mixture of walkers and carts. Guy next to me paid $15 through web tee time deal while I paid $45.

Great courses and Ashton and TJ are probably the best pros in Broward County. ...and the bag room attendant Justin is a true champ!

This is for the Palms course only. It used to be in average condition, and after all it is a golf course east of 95 and you can walk at any time. However, the greens look like a lost cause now, and they probably need to tear them up and re-do them over the summer. Call and ask about condition before you go, or when you get there and before you pay just walk over the bridge and look at number 18 which is one of the worst looking greens. The problem is that several of them are similar.

If I was the SHARK, I would take my name off the course. Only becauseOf the condition. The layout is great.

Decent courses..better food and bar!

The golf course is ok but the customer service is unbelievably bad. For starters a phone number that people answer to set tee times would be nice but once you get passed that they are literally terrible. Why they feel the need to talk down to their customers I will never understand. Im paying you to play!!!

I am sure i was never here, golf is revolting.

The pines course is in maintainance but still open and they charge you the full price. Why doesnt they close the course for a week? It is unplayable. For putting you need a sandwedge and the fairways got long grass as well. Greenkeepers everywhere not taking care about the golf players and driving criss cross during your drive. Blaming the city of pompano beach, not the course. Ridicolous and last time I played there. Have a look at Boca Raton Municipal or Osprey if you want to see a city maintained course with perfect service and condition.
