DO NOT under any circumstances play the Oaks course. It is in horrendous shape. Everything is super wet and muddy because theyre not enforcing cart path only. And the greens are the worst Ive ever seen. Theyve got patches throughout from what looks like some sort of fungus, and on top of it theyve been recently sanded. NONE of the above is disclosed to you when you book a tee time. $42 prepaid before taxes/fees is INSANE given the conditions. Wont be back for a while (if ever).

Oh my! TERRIBLE COURSE,,,AVOID PALM AIRE (both Oaks & Cypress bad shape),,,moldy and fungi damage on greens,,,needs attention! NO RAIN CHECKS even with standing water and extremely flooded areas on every hole! They don’t properly update conditions with golfnow or on website (inaccurate). I rate as a 2 only because it used to be very nice there,,,also CAUTION with pro shop staff, they do lie for the ownership about refunds, and are extremely difficult to work with,,,along with the flooded fairways, the pace was 6-7 hrs round,,,DONT waste your time or money,,,,we played 4 holes in nearly 2 hours and tried to request a rain check but no sir!!! Except for the starters and cart staff,,, which are notably the crews working hard and dealing with customer frustrations but management has compromised many aspects of the golf experience and business,,,Years ago the course and staff were great but now they are a mess plus you have very unprofessional individuals working the pro-shop, this is not rare nor isolated incident ,,,, the last 4 times I have been it has been frankly comical and embarrassing watching the pro shop staff interact with customers (don’t want to name individuals but they will stand out if you decide to go and waste your money). I did hear that the ownership is not US based, and they are milking the course business - NOT A GOOD VALUE! Highly recommend Plantation courses a few miles away, which won’t disappoint,,,avoid Palm Aire !!!

Palm Aire once again offers a summer pro fusion special which includes unlimited golf on 3 courses, range balls and lunch. Cost at 1330 for 2 was $65. Lunch menu was fixed unlike previous years buffet. We each had a cheese burger which was excellent. Drinks also included. The range is all Bermuda grass with floating golf balls hit into a lake. Putting green was in good shape-very fast Bermuda grass. We played the Oaks. Tee boxes were mostly st Augustine grass which should be mowed more tightly. Fairways were Bermuda in good shape. With exception of 10 green (zoysia grass migration) greens are good. Our 2 requests are (1) unlock the bathroom on the course (2) add water coolers to several tees as it was very hot and humid. Overall this is a great value on a decent course.

Played the oaks course as cypress was closed. TRASH course. Everything was unkept and in horrible shape. The layout is tragic and awful. Don’t waste your time and money.

Decent track. Played in December so condition of the course was not at its peak. Good pace of play.

Same thing good time. Too much duck on the greens. Other than that crushes in good shape.

ClubLink member from Canada, went down to play some ClubLink courses in Florida. Prior to playing Eagle Trace and Jacaranda, decided to try Cypress out, wish I hadnt. What a big waste of time. The driving range is basically a big pond where you hit balls into. The course is surrounded by houses so dont expect any Florida views. Id recommend playing Eagle Trace if you want to stick to a decent Club Link course. It was a TPC course and is tough and definitely a nicer course than Cypress. How this country club has retained a 4.3 star rating is beyond me.

I was at Palm Aire for a golf lesson with Contes Palm Aire Golf Academy. My first experience is very positive as I could immediately see my putting improvement. The real test will be my ability to apply what I learn on the course, but that always the case!?

Great golf course in Fort Lauderdale area. One of the staff recommended that I play the Cypress course. It was a lot of fun. Very challenging and tight on some of the holes. The Oaks & Cypress courses were designed by Tom & George Fazio.

Palm-Aire Country Club is home to three 18-hole courses. The original Palms course was designed by William Mitchell and later renovated in 1996 by Karl Litten and Lorrie Viola. Just a mile away youll find the clubhouse for the Oaks and Cypress courses, both layouts designed by George Fazio and his nephew Tom Fazio.Often regarded as Palm-Aires best layout, the Cypress course is a generally well-regarded layout, which includes several attractive holes and features. Worth visiting if you are in the area.
