Perfect size playground with lots of fun accessories.There is a large play and climb zone with several merry-go-rounds and a junior playground as well.Located right next to a beach so it’s fun and easy to transition from playing to swimming, and back again! :)

Absolutely stunning view of the lake. It is part of a beautiful trail system that goes all the way around the lake.

This use to be a GREAT place to bring the kids out for fishing , but lately it looks and feel like the city have just let this place go down hill! The fishing dock is OLD, WORN OUT, FALLING APART.Grass around the pond (back water ) have over grown , the area by the dock use to be full of life, lots of fish, clear water , now it’s more of a stagnant water, not even sun fish are living there. the water that run from the lake to the back and into the creek is all muddy, dirty..I really hope the city would clean up this place and bring it up to date , make it enjoyable again.

Large play area, plenty of places for picnics, Sandy Beach (water could be a bit cleaner), portable toilets, water fountains, a few grills available. Always seems to be people fishing. Its great to see all the wildlife in the area.

A stunning beach with a mediocre play set leaves this park with a 4 star review, but is overall an incredible place to spend a couple hours.

The lake is in a quite area and its a beautiful place for some small events. The park near the lake has a nice picnic area for grill and other activities. There is a boat rental until 5 pm if you are interested in canoeing or other activities.

This is nice! Park about 100 feet from swimming and a beach area with life guards. But the reason I gave it only 4 stars was you cant have any flotation devices not even noodles, which is totally understandable because the LG cant see if a childs head is under water, but still takes a lot of fun out of the day. Other than that I saw people bbqing and there are pavilions and I saw people fishing. I saw boats and a public dock you can jump off. If you want to use floaties you can use by the public dock just not the beach part. Hope this helps you plan for your next trip. Oh and the parking lot had only 3 spots by the time we arrived (1130 am)

Safe, clean family oriented park with a modern playground, sheltered picnic area, and gradually tapered swimming area with sand beach! Nice place to enjoy a relaxing day at the beach!

Love the park on this end...plenty of room for parking..many grills and picnic tables to hold birthday parties or other outside functions. Spacious beach and wonderful lake to explore with your boat! Large enough Lake for pulling tubes and children.

Nice lake in quiet area. They have small beach with lifeguards. Lot of facilities like fishing area, play area , sand volleyball, basketball, gazebos etc. it’s a good place to spent time with kids.

I love this place so much! Ive been coming here since I was little, and its always such a beautiful spot to hang out at. I highly suggest seeing the sunset over the lake here if you have the chance, its beautiful. Their playground is fun, and the beach is so lovely. One of my favorite spots in Minnesota.

I visited this park yesterday, it was like mostly private lake than public. Initially I went to East medicine lake as per google’s direction then there was no entrance at all. After asking someone there on the road side I got to know it’s all private property to enter this lake. They suggested to visit west medicine lake park then I went there.West Park has children play area n beach. Many ppl will be boating, kayaking in this lake.I recommend not to go here if u r far from this place. It’s for near by visitors n not that exciting.

Wonderful little park with tons of features. Theres a beach area, outdoor play structures, fishing areas, volleyball court, picnic pavilions, a kayak/canoe dock, a boat launch, beautiful views of the lake, and ample free parking. Truly a gorgeous park.

I saw a guy stuck out on the lake in a PT Cruiser , lol. Helped pull him out, we just received the most snow in a February, ever!

Beach and playground, lots of fun for kids. I wish there was a permanent facility with changing rooms and bathrooms for the beach. There are port-a-potties in the summer, so at least there is somewhere for kids to go potty, but an actual bathroom facility would make the beach much more accommodating to visit.

There is 3 picnic pavilions. Each has own BBQ grill. 2 grills per post. Plenty of room on beach for sun bathing. Canoe rentals through the Parks and Recreation division. Check the City of Plymouths web site on rentals. Play ground area for kids plus a beach volleyball court for adults and teenagers.This park is quieter from Freeway noise than East Medicine Lake Park.

Always a nice peaceful place to visit. I enjoy all the bridges and the beach. ️

Nice shallow beach with two lifeguards on duty. Playground is huge with something for everyone! Lots of grills available to the public. There is a ringing station to prince the sand off and porta potties should the need arise.

This park was awesome. We had quite a few people with us so the tables under the pavilion was great to have. There were two lifeguards on duty who made sure the kids were safe in the water. They even cleaned up the goose poop from the sand. Thanks!

Relax here. Use the playground. Fish from the dock. Sunbathers in summer months. Bike at a leisurely pace or walk through when not too busy. Just watch out for goose droppings spring and fall!

Amazing place. It may not look like much, but bringing friends and food down under the pavilions brings a really fun time. The swimming area may seem small by comparison to other places, but coming here from when I was younger to even my 18th birthday, I had a blast.

Great place for sunrise shots with the most unique tree in the metro! The running path around the lake is also very nice and scenic.

Beautiful, has several areas. Beach, docks, playground, bridges, shelters, volleyball. Tons of birds, butterflys.. All you have to do stay quiet and they come to you.Our first time ... we will return.

Beautiful park and swim area. Good fishing. You can bring a rib eye, start the charcoal, go for a swim, and come back to throw the meat on the grill. There are nice kiosks with shade and plenty of parking. The locals, or rather, surrounding neighbors that live in the immediate area are stuck up and rude, very snooty, they look down their noses at everyone that visits. They believe the park is made for only, but its not. Enjoy your day here its a beautiful place.

Excellent parking for boats and trailer, our usual Lake in the cities to go to. Picnic and parking, with beach and park...on South West side of Lake so family can join you, if youre the one with the boat. No parking for family at boat ramp. Pavilion, and grills, portable podies...nice clean park with drinking fountain for kids! Excellent for all ages, fishing pier also!

Excellent playground with boats, skiing, and hiking around. I feel like Im up at the lake with fisherman flying by in their 200HP boats. I enjoy the entertainment while my daughter goes down the same slide for the 100th time. The beach looks great so I plan to come back next summer when its hot.

Just pulled up as I was in the area, really nice facilities. Pavilion, grills picnic tables, play ground and swim area. Lots of parking and close to the water.

Nice place to go for a little picnic for just my husband and I. Can also be used for groups of a larger size. No flies around.

This park has it all fishing swimming great park and a boat parking area with a volleyball court. Used to come here a ton as a kid. The volleyball court could use a simple facelift of adding sand and fixing the net and possibly adding pads.

It was super windy when my family went to Medicine Lake. The West side was more protected, and had great pavilions available for groups. There was also a nice playground for the kids.

A low key park right on the lake. Gazebos are first come, first served, but there is one larger gazebo area and three smaller ones.
