Very nice public golf course. Excellent condition. No distractions; no houses come into view. Most holes are spaced very nicely. One of the best 19th hole/dining rooms you will find at a public golf course anywhere.

Update:If you are not capable of keeping track of who you charge you should not charge in advance. You clearly don’t understand the basics of customer service!Now they suggest it is my job to make sure they issue refund.... REALLY you are joking I hope!Cancelled tee times 5 days before booking. The had charged my card when booking but did not process credit when cancelled. Now going through the hassle of disputing charge.I called course and they would not check or verify they had issued credit.

I’ve golfed at a lot of beautiful courses, and this is certainly one of my top favorites. It has characteristics that no other course has. A must play every year!

Wow what a golf course. The layout is super and the course is in tip top shape. I really enjoyed my round, greens rolled true and the layout is tough but fair. They want to please you here and I wish I could play this track everyday

Great course in very good shape (a couple spots that were in need of repair) but very good for the most part. Limited range balls before round to a small bucker (would have preferred large bucket). Carts are very comfortable but the brakes were troublesome for our group to apply ( needed to step on several times almost everytime to have it work).

One of the best kept secrets in New England. Great Course, Can’t say anything bad about it. A group of 12 play of us do a road trip to it at least 2 times a year.Has everything you would want.

Worst customer service. Just go to Pinehills. Better course. Better Service. Much better people.

First class facility ! Played last week for the first time and was very impressed at the condition of the course as well as the quality of staff. Highly Reccomend !

Not Safe! If you want to stay Covid free, do not play here. An unmasked starter comes within inches of guests asking them to sign a golf cart waiver, carts are not sanitized after unmasked, non-gloved staff use, and staff in clubhouse do not wear masks.

Been a regular here for awhile, course is in phenomenal shape and I cant recommend it enough. Staff truly cares and are always friendly and makes for a great experience.

Challenging course, and very scenic. Some dramatic beautiful holes with fast true greens.Unfortunately since its a not a cheap course, expectations are up. For spending $105 on a round, and WAITING IN EVERY SHOT teeing off at 8am is just bad. I would expect a rangers to help pace of play. By the end they were 6 holes off pace.So many great courses in the area, and even though this is one, your money better spent somewhere else.

I recently hosted my corporate golf tourney here and it was a wonderful experience. Mark and staff handled everything for me, I literally didnt need to think about any details aside from getting them a player list. The course setup perfectly for a fun scramble and was in great shape. Mark even let the teams that tied for first have a playoff hole on 18 in front of the entire crows which everyone agreed was one of the best times theyve ever had at a company event. The food was also great and setup perfectly for the post round reception.

Greens were fantastic

This course is a treat, but their customer service is horrendous. I golfed before 11am with a Groupon and like all courses, they honor it for face value. After reviewing my spending habits, I noticed they actually charged me the full $105.00 for the round, even after redeeming my Groupon for $75.00. Point is, I trusted the amount would be correct and signed the receipt quickly. I wouldn’t have even noticed this error if I didn’t go back to look at something else. When I called, the golf shop asked me “But you signed the receipt?” almost as if this was my fault. He then directed me to a woman in finance, Becky, who said the same thing but laughingly as if it was indeed my fault. This was without a doubt, the worst customer experience I have had at a golf course, maybe made top 5 anywhere. The fact that they jumped to their conclusions that they did nothing wrong and it was on the customer, me for not being on guard and auditing the receipt with a calculator and reading glasses is an absolute joke. I wanted to get to the range and loose before the round. The course is in good shape yes, but you can get the same course conditions next door at Crosswinds for far less money and much better customer service!

I feel this is a really fine pay to play public golf course which indeed is kept in CC standards. Wide fairways with very fair greens and catch areas.

Play here a bunch, love the course. Greens always in good shape, fun layout. Range situation is a bit odd this year, not sure what is going on with main range that they usually use. Staff is friendly although would be nice to a ranger a little more than normal. Price might be a little high but compared to the course across the street that charges $125 in season I would much rather play Waverly.

The course has wide fairways, generous greens, and a nice mixture of hole styles. One of the downsides is that three of the par 3s are exactly the same length. And the greens are in terrible shape, they are bumpy, and do not roll true.

Excellent course! Great staff and great food.

This place is absolutely gorgeous. Ive seen the groundskeepers here in the morning working tirelessly on the field, bushes, trees and the sand pits. You and all your buddies will have a fun time here for sure. Not just playing golf but also enjoying some truly well done scenery.

Great course ...Very fast greens

3 star rating is a little slanted. I give the course 4.5 stars. But, everything else, i would give 1 star.We have been here 3 times in the last 7 months, and over that time, we have had to change golf carts 3 times. Twice when the battery died completely while out on the course, and once due to a flat tire before we had even gotten to the first hole. Most recently (yesterday) we found all the cart paths to be in really bad shape. Those that were paved, were all broken up and those that were not paved, we washed out. Its hard to believe that they had all winter to fix things like cart paths, and carts, and yet they did nothing. If they hope to stay in competition with Pine Hills, they need to maintain things other than the golf course.

Excellent course. Played on a Wednesday in November. Not many people. Well maintained. Well worth the $60. They give a small bucket off balls to hit at the range before the 1st tee. Will be playing here again!

If you like fast greens you will love this course. The fairways are well maintained and the staff is very helpful.

Great Wedding Reception !!

We live at the Pinehills, but the courses are closed many days in June for outings. Last week we decided to play at Waverly Oaks. I was very pleasantly surprised by the lovely clubhouse, the friendly staff, and the beautifully maintained course. Some of the holes are challenging, but for the most part it is fair. We played in just under four hours which was awesome for a public course. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed it and will definitely play there again very soon!

The wedding reception was overall fabulous and beautiful venue. But 2 of the bartenders were very rude to family members of mine. The experience was almost like being on candid camera-hard to believe that staff would be so outright rude to guests in such a beautiful venue.

One if the best clubhouses I have been besides the Masters in Augusta GA

Was on the road and asked my wife to look up tee times for me. She said Waverly was open for $85. So I called and sure enough they were. I got there as a single and they charged me $105. Its not worth the $105. Wont be going back there again.

Waverly Oaks has several holes that you will remember for the rest of your life. This course is designed to intimidate you from the tee box with elevation changes and other features. If you like a challenge, this is your course. Not as bad as Musgrove Mills in SC. I recommend it.

After a 2 1/2 hr front 9, we were lectured by the ranger that we were out of pace. This was the second time he had talked to us. We were absolutely playing at a reasonable pace. I was playing with my brother in law and our fathers who are over the age of 60, so a 2/12 hr 9 is 100% within reason. Aside from the expensive greens fee, my father was paying 10s of thousands of dollars for my sisters wedding the next day. To be treated the way we were was deplorable, especially since we were not slow.

Course is in great shape! The new cars with GPS are terrific.

80 dollars for just opening where you had to use a rake to get the rocks and sand off should be 60 dollars for the 1st month

Beautiful course. Not too challenging, but certainly not an easy play. Overall one of the best courses Ive played.

My wife and I have golfed at Waverly many times. Up until this last time I would look forward to going back. This last outing I left a pair of prescription glasses in the cart. When I arrived at home and realized it I called the pro shop. I was told that they have them. I explained that it was about a 1 1/2 hour round trip to get them back and would they please mail them to me. The person in the pro shop hesitated and said he would have to get permission to do that. I explained that any cost would be reimbursed by me. After four days and not receiving them, I called again. I was told they were waiting for authorization to mail them. I called back in three days and I was told that it would be taken care of. Another call and I was told that they were in the office to be mailed. The long and short of it, I do not have my glasses and will now have to purchase another pair. I am sure that it does not bother them that I will have to spend $250.00 because that were not willing to help a customer out. Quite frankly I just cant justify traveling 1 1/2 hours round trip to golf at a course that doesnt give a c*#@ about their customers. I will be relaying this to any and all who ever ask me about this course. By the way, there are 3 very nice courses with-in a very short distance from them, Cross Winds, and two courses at Pine Hills. Guess where I will be going from now on if I travel to Plymouth,
