An exceptional experience from the start. Booking tee time was pleasant experience. Pro shop was very nice. Professional, knowledgeable and personable staff. The design and layout was what I expected of a Jack Nicklaus course. The ground crew had the course in tip top condition. A very enjoyable experience would recommend to anyone looking to play an exceptional professional layout. Will definitely return. Already booked next tee time before we left.

The people here really understand how to operate and maintain a golf course. The tee times are perfectly spaced for a consistent pace of play.What makes Pinehills a 5-star golf course is the practice facility and clubhouse. With a double ended range, 4 practice greens and a clubhouse with a private feel, you could really spend a whole day here working every aspect of your game and relaxing at East Bay Grille. This continues to be one of the best all-around public golf venues in the south shore.

First time I played at Pinehills. Played the Nicklas course. Loved it! Was in great shape, challenging but not super difficult if you kept ball in play. Definitely want to go back.

Played the Nicklaus course and loved it.. practice area is Awesome!! We drove 1hr and 40 min to play there and are going to go back again before the fall. Tomato bisque and grilled cheese is freaking awesome.. A++

Great condition 36 holes of golf not very far from Boston. The course is exciting and well laid out, just watch out for the sand traps that almost every leaky drive will find their way into. There is a full driving range, putting green, chipping green, pro shop, and grill that can put together quick sandwiches. Highly recommended, especially after my hole in one today on 7 Jones!

Love this golf course. There are 2 full 18 hole courses and they are just incredible. A bit of a ride from Boston but worth it when you finally get there.

What a wonderful and challenging golf course! We started out with lunch at the club house grille (East Bay Grille). The food was delicious and generous in portion - we took doggie bags with us to play. Next, we warmed up at the driving range, which was included in the golfing. The staff was very friendly and people on the course friendly (we all were on a mission to conquer the next hole). The scenery was beautiful and course well maintained. The locker rooms were nice to change clothes after the 18 holes. Wed love to tackle the 9-hole, but big Jones course next time!

Great course. Absolutely beautiful. Attendant s place your bag on the cart while you park and they drive it to the driving range where you can hit unlimited balls. At the end of your round your clubs are taken from the cart and wiped down as you prepare to gone into te clubhouse for some beverages. Well worth the money!

Beautiful courses! You can choose from either Jones or Nicklaus. Ive played the Nicklaus numerous times and its challenging. They take excellent care of the fairways, greens, and bunkers. The staff treats you like a PGA player when you show up-they take your bags, put them on the cart, give you water, clean your clubs, the whole 9 yards!

Played the Jones course on Saturday. Fairways were surprising dry. Greens were bumpy. They was no water on the course. Starter gave you one bottle on the first tee and that was it. Said he was only allowed to give out one bottle per golfer. Very cheap, especially when there was no water on the course.

Played here at an event. What a great course. Has some tough holes that are great to play. Kept up nicely and the clubhouse is kept in great shape!If I lived closer I would go all the time

We got married here a year ago and stopped back to grab some drinks for our anniversary in the Pub. Really liked the homemade chips we enjoyed with our drinks. Everyone was so friendly and they insisted they remembered us though I feel like its unlikely given how many weddings they do. I definitely recommend this as a spot to get married or to grab a drink. Still havent played a round of golf though so Ill let you look to others for reviews on the course.

Great club all around. My organization has held tournaments at Pinehills for over 10 years and we keep going back because it has two great courses, and is very well run. Food is also top notch and the staff is great. Our players look forward to Pinehills every year.

Pinehills Golf Club, rated 4-1/2 stars, is home to two wonderful championship courses, the Jones and Nicklaus layouts. Both courses rank with some of the best in Massachusetts. The Rees Jones designed course comprises a tree-lined parkland layout, which provides a wonderful test for your all-round game.

Always a fun time at this course either one of the two 18 holes. Great shape always. Worth money to play it at least once it twice a season.

Just played the Jones course today. Amenities were top notch, course was in awesome condition and was beautiful. Only reason I didnt give it 5 stars is that our round was almost 5 hours and that was due to 1 group. Knowing people travel to play this course (1 hour 45 minutes for me) it would have been nice to see a ranger keeping play going. Not sure if this is normal or not but was brutal!

One of the best public courses I have ever played. We played the Jones course which was in perfect condition. They treat you great from the moment you walk in to the second you leave. The starter was very helpful, the driving range was great.I do recommend you buy a yardage book if playing course for the first time. Not for the yardage (the course was as well marked as any I have played), but to know what the hole involves. There are several tees where you cant see the layout in front of you. So you are not sure what to hit and where the danger is.There was one par 5 where we didnt know if it was a dogleg left or right. But that is an easy problem to solve with a yardage book.Recommend the course to anyone who likes to golf. Great conditions, great layout and awesome staff.

Upon arrival good service bag drop to start area. Golf shop both golf professionals very cordial. Excellent range for warm up. Played Jones course - better golf course than many private clubs. Course condition very good - greens, tees ,bunkers and fairways.Will return soon to play Nicklaus course. Enjoyed lunch outside. Good food, good service. Guest fee, golf car, range balls, food and grog all represent very good value.Wishing all at Pine Hills the very best. You offer a wonderful golf experience start to finish. Thank you.

Great golf venue. Staff professional, courteous and helpful. Also has a wonderful warm up practice area for range, chipping, sand and putting. Two very different courses that are challenging and fun.

Wonderful golf course and facility. My only complaint is with the golf cart. The brakes are not good, particularly the parking brake. Tough to engage..someone could get hurt

Just a Great golfing Facility!

Pine Hills is an absolutely spectacular place to play golf. From the facilities to the staff to the amenities including a driving range the friendliness of the starters the challenge of both the Bobby Jones and Jack Nicholas courses is exquisite.I have found Pinehills to always be in perfectly manicured condition regardless of the time of year, of course that excludes winter LOL.If you are in the area of Plymouth Massachusetts and you fancy yourself a round of golf I can highly highly highly recommend the Pine Hills facility even though it can be a tad on the pricey side Depending on time of year I feel personally that it is well worth the experience.Hal Phillips, member of the Rhode Island Senior Olympic golf team.

Played the Jones course which usually is in great shape. The greens were not very good they had a lot of bad spots. This is a great facility.

One of the nicest public golf courses in MA, but pricey too. If youre an occasional weekend folder, wait till the fall when their winter rates kick in and treat yourself then. Nicklaus course is the easier of the two, a bit more open fairways.

Great course but for a high end facility should have had some dry towels on the cart on the rainy day we played.

As their web site says come be a member for a day, and they are right, Treated very well by the staff. Our fee, included 18 holes of course, me and my son played the Nicklaus course, we also got use of the driving range, a bottle of water, and our clubs were cleaned for us when we finished. This is the best course I have ever played. The condition of the tees, fairways, traps and greens were fantastic. If your ever in Eastern Massachusetts you have to play this course.

Sub par food not top notch service and the Nicklaus course is a big disappointment

Jones Course - First time playing this course, and what a course. From the pristinely manicured fairways and greens to the beautiful landscape, this course is an admirers dream. As far as golfing is concerned, bring your A game. This is not the easiest course I have played on, but its not the toughest either. Off the tee box you are given, on most holes, plenty of room to miss left or right. The fairways all slope towards the center, and the greens, within 10ft, are dead center shots. All in all, a great course that offers plenty of forgiveness along with difficulty.
