An extreme balancing act!

Been going to this place my whole life and unfortunately over the years people have came and have littered the rock with writing. Went yesterday parked at the bottom and bushwacked my way up to the rock from the road the main road. Winter time the snowmobilers use the road so keep and ear and eye out but suggest winter time hiking. Summers are brutal with bugs. Worth checking out though.

Great place to bring the family. Nice trails to walk.

A beautiful place to hike. These are picnic tables there, so Ill have to pack a lunch someday when I bring the kids there. Too bad theres griffitti on the rocks.

City of pittsfield cleaned up the park so its not full of broken glass and graffiti is cleaned off the rock. Thanks Pittsfield

Love going up there in the summer. Just wish there were a water fointin and bathroom

Minimal paved walking trails but lots of rough trails to explore. Cool natural spot. Lots of graffiti unfortunately, but Im not taking away stars because of inconsiderate people.

Peaceful and well maintained

Awesome shapes and sizes of rocks are here for viewing. Wonderful place is this much to the delight of the visitors there are many rocks on which the visitors prefer to climb, occupy seats on the top. Nice place for family weekend picnics.

Pretty cool rock formation

Great place to ride all things ( OHV ). The terrain is constantly changing. Was there today and there was No shortage of Water. Water , water everywhere , even on the trails. Also can tend to be Rocky.

Its a big balanced rock. Its fun to find and look at the old engravings all over it.

You just gotta go there no matter what season. i have lived in Pittsfield all my life its great for hiking biking snowshoeing cross-country etc. They say that a receding glacier left that here like that i think its beautiful if you hike check out all the stone formations .

Amazing

The road was unplowed and unsalted which made for icy conditions. Luckily had a jeep so roads weren’t an issue. Very cool balancing rock but would be better if it wasn’t covered with graphiti. Nice place to take a walk

Beautiful walk in the fall. Id give it five stars, but it is open to off road vehicles and hunters.

My dogs like playing up there.and its clean. But other people there rude and burning up tires on quads and cars

Climb it if you can - nothing more entertaining than watching folks trying to get up the first step! Pretty amazing too once your realize that the rock truly is balanced!

Interesting rock formation a bit set back from the road. Bit of noise from ATVs.
