Took my wife to a wood turning class last night for our anniversary. Warren was a fantastic teacher & didnt phone it in since we were the only 2 in the class. We had a great time! Learned alot about our class, and we are interested in the glass fusion options as well. My only regret was not sticking around longer to make more! But we will be back again. Thanks guys!

I had such a great time making my glass fused photo frame. It came out so very cool! Class was well organized and comfortable and the instructor gave direction and help when needed. I highly recommend this class.

We took two teenage budding artists to Blicks and they were in seventh heaven! They have an amazing selection and the prices are competitive. The staff was very friendly & helpful.

I really enjoyed the Glass Table class! All equipment necessary for the project are put together in kits for each student and teachers goes over them before the class starts. He was thorough in his discussions of how to cut and assemble glass, and he was always ready to give advice or extra assistance. Class prices are very reasonable and I look forward to taking more classes at Milkweed Arts!

HIghly recommend taking glass fusion classes with Milkweed Arts. I rarely review my experiences with anything online, but Milkweed Arts has been a major highlight in my year thus far. The classes are informative and casual. Absolutely no experience is needed to create beautiful glass objects and art.

I have taken several classes at Milkweed Arts and have really enjoyed them all! From wood turning, to fused glass, and even soldering jewelry, the wide variety of classes I have taken here have been very well organized. The instructors are all very competent, both in house (Warren) as well as guest instructors. Ive really been impressed with the quality of the classes here.There is a well stocked retail store with Bullseye glass and frits, stained glass supplies, and even wooden pen blanks for using a lathe. The prices are quite reasonable too!I really enjoy going to Milkweed Arts. Its a clean, well organized facility. There is art throughout the lobby and in the classrooms for inspiration and enjoyment. Its a great place to get the creative juices flowing!

I took Warrens class on Mandalas and loved it. The skills he shares are high quality. I found his teaching style to be inclusive and supportive of where the student is at. I highly recommend visiting and checking his studio and classes out.

I love this studio. Both the owner Warren Norgaard and his assistant Isaiah are so helpful and knowledgeable. Often, if I feel that my project was a disaster, they have been able to give me some ideas/hints and turn my project around to something beautiful and saved from the scrap heap!

Warren is an excellent teacher and the classes they have are incredible and affordable. I’ve taken classes at other places and nobody teaches as good as him. Any college student studying art could also learn a thing or two from the classes that he teaches or one of his guest artists. I would strongly recommend him.

I have been going to Milkweed since it first opened. The workshops and classes are great. The instructors are terrific and the space works really well. I plan to keep going there, especially for open studio sessions. Warren and Isaiah have created a welcome and stimulating studio.

I have been a glass artisan creating in several forms of glass for over 25 years. I recently took a class at Milkweed Arts with Lois Manno.on Glass Clay Sculpting and was wonderful.The facility was clean and organized with excellent help from the staff. All the student tools and supplies were ready for our use. I felt that both Lois and the Milkweed staff went out of their way to be accommodated and friendly. I would highly recommend most any class that is offered.

I took a class at Milkweed Arts with Michael Dupille and it was a great three days. There are always classes I want to take but distance and money are the only things holding me back from being there a lot more often. Its a nurturing environment for beginners and theres knowledgeable mentoring for those who have more experience. And lots of good guest instructors.

Great fun, instructor explained everything and demonstrated how to work with the class. Plenty of room to work. Comfortable working area and clean. Plenty of beautiful pieces o display for purchase if you’re not a crafter.

Warren has a gem of a studio, where you can get world-class instruction in everything from the very basics to the very complex. Classes are fairly priced, the space is beautifully thought out, spacious, well-equipped, and close to some great lunch venues! There is also a comprehensive selection of specialized glass accoutrements, books, magazines and frit for sale. Highly recommended.

My wife and I have taken two fusion classes (coasters) from Warren. This last class we brought along two of our friends. The four of us had a great time in the class. The topic of conversation at dinner and all the way home was about how much fun we had and the anticipation of our finished products.Warren is a great instructor, he provides excellent information and guidance. The artwork in the studio is really well done and the instruction reflects the care and professionalism of the artists.Even someone like me without a creative bone in my body can produce a work that looks good. My wife made coasters last time that amazed my daughter and she displays them all the time at her home!You will not be disappointed by the sessions or the work you produce at Milkweed. My friend took me to a glass fusion class on June 4, 2016. The instructor Warren was not only informative, he added a little humor, which made it also fun. I learned a very valuable life lesson that night. As I sat, planning how my colored glass should be fused together, I got caught up trying to make it perfect, and when I learned I couldnt it frustrated me. When I finally let go and let art happen it came out well. My quote for the night is, the perfection is in the imperfection. Thank you Warren!
