Alex Ansel is the man! Super friendly, nice guy we clicked instantly and he made me feel very comfortable and relaxed. This is my first tattoo and Im in absolute love with it! Pictures do not do it justice, Alexs attention to detail and line work is unreal. I love the way he was able to bring my vision to life on my arm, he takes his work very seriously and thats something that I appreciate immensely. I live in WA but his work is so worth traveling for!! Ill definitely be making trips back in the future to finish my sleeve. Im so glad I chose Divinity Tattoo, they have several incredible artists with a variety of different styles. The staff is super friendly and helpful.

I got a memorial piece done here about two years ago. It was a very difficult piece to get because I was very close to the person that passed.My artist, Charles, was very kind and listened to my incessant jabbering (I talk when I get tattooed because it helps me ignore the sting). He was equally kind when I get my touch up. The yellow in my piece is packed in beautifully, the lines are smooth and even.Im currently making plans to come back.

Artist cancelled yet again. Arrived to the second appointment and artist did not show up. Receptionist tried to get a hold of him only to come back to say he wasnt showing up and I would need to reschedule. Completely unprofessional to give no notice of the cancelation ahead of time. Such a waste of time. Had high expectations for this place. Too bad the artist didnt bother to keep his commitment.

Ryan over at Divinity tattoo does great work I went in for a hummingbird for my first tattoo by him and I was really impressed with his work so I decided to go back and get more work done! At the age of 52 I finally decided to get my first tattoo. I googled tattoo parlors near me and Divinity came up first. I noticed the same 3 names in the reviews Patrick Ryan and Samm so I emailed them my information and Patrick contacted me. And Im so glad it was him. His style was exactly what I needed because I only wanted a simple dolphin outline in purple no shading. Patrick and I communicated on and off during the week via text, which I appreciated. The parlor was extremely clean and very sanitized during this covid-19. Patrick explained every step and everything he was going to do and did. He knew it was my first and I was concerned about it hurting and talked to me the whole time but also gave me the option to stop if I needed to. I could not be more happy with how my tattoo turned out, my only regret is that I didnt do it sooner.

Weve been doing a large sleeve with Alex Ansel and he has done amazing work. Were in the touch up phase now and still very happy an hour impressed. Clean shop friendly people in every booth and I would recommend anyone in that shop. They are all very talented! Its a great atmosphere especially when you sit for a super long session!

From the moment I walked in to the moment I left with my new tattoo the whole experience with every member of the team was phenominal!! I never felt unwelcome and the atmosphere was so gracious and friendly, all staff member were attentive and kind.Based on the tattoo I wanted I was suggested to go with Patrick. He made my very first tattoo a positive and fun experience. He answered all of my questions and when I apologized for being picky he was quick to say oh no, I am looking at this for a few minutes, you need to look at it for the rest of your life. I called in and asked if the shop took walk ins with a $200-300 dollar budget for a tattoo and was told to come right in. I came right in, and was treated rudely by staff, it was made to seem like I was an inconvenience by not setting an appointment, and the idea that I was only spending $300 was scoffed at by staff and I was told I should Save up and get a real tattoo. I wont ever return to this shop and would not recommend it to others. Wasted my time and treated me rudely.

I got my first tattoo. Patrick did an amazing job on the design with the very few pictures I shared. And his work was amazing too. He was extremely patient. I would definitely recommend divinity tattoos to anyone who wishes to get tattooed.

Wandered in on a whim as I was looking to get some ink for v Friday the 13th. Most tattoo shops run specials on this day of the year, surprisingly Divinity did not. I was so impressed by, firstly, the decor of the shop, and secondly the friendly staff that I decided to ask a few questions about their artists work. I found an artist whos style was in line with my tastes, booked an appointment and HOLY HELL am I glad I did!! Just finished my first of what will be many more pieces to come, and I am absolutely over the moon with the entire situation. HIGHLY. EXTREMELY. INCREDIBLY RECOMMENDED for all of your tattoo needs!My next appointment is on 10/5 so I can another piece done to compliment the one I got today.

Going here has been my best tattoo experience by far. The shop is meticulously clean, even the bathroom was spotless. There are true artists here. I didnt find any of the artists or employees to have that snobbish attitude which you find in a lot of tattoo shops. I felt completely comfortable and welcome. The tattoo I received here is by far the best work Ive gotten. My friends and family who have seen my tattoo have said they will go there for their future work. Ill be a customer for life.

I am naturally a very anxious person, so I was very nervous for my first big piece (half sleeve). While going through Dans portfolio I thought he was diverse and talented. Dan always made me feel very comfortable and we have a blast chatting while he goes to town on my skin. The shop is very clean and the staff is always friendly, no egos in sight.I wish communication would have been better in order to ensure color options were something we agreed upon. You live and you learn.

Most tattoo shops are more like cool kids clubs and they treat you like you dont belong as soon as you walk in the door, not Divinity. My friend and I were treated like family as soon as we walked in and our artist Dan was an amazing artist and a good conversationalist. I will be going to this shop and recommending it for the rest of my stay in Phoenix. 5 out of 5.

I was really nervous about getting a tattoo since this was my first time getting one in Arizona and I didnt know of any artist or where to go, but Alex was a great artist. He understood how much this tattoo meant to me and he did a great job picking out the lettering and making sure that I loved it before he tattooed me. I would recommend him to anyone! Plus this place is very clean! I could have given it a 4 because I had an issue with one of the artists but once I got switched over to Alex, everything went perfect and they made sure I was happy! Thanks again Alex, Ill definitely be going to him every time I get tatted out here even if he were to switch shops!

Wonderful place to get a tattoo, they have many artists to choose from. My husband and I have gotten different tattoos here and love them all. The pricing depends on the artists but it is reasonable for the beautiful artwork you get in return. Also they love appointments and do require a deposit.

I described what I wanted, and she directed me to three artists portfolios.I ended up choosing Misty. I spoke to her that same day, described what I wanted, and gave her some creativity to work with. A short time later, I returned and was blown away with what she came up with. Great work, great detail, and an amazing experience. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a tattoo!

My 3 friends and I went in last week to all get roman numeral tattoos for our friend who passed away.Charles was absolutely awesome and super friendly.Love the atmosphere of the shop, very clean and upscale.Everyone was helpful including the ladies on the phone.It was all of our first tattoos and we all felt comfortable.Clean line work, they all came out great and exactly how we wanted them,Charles drew up several fonts and was nice to talk to- reasonable prices for the services providedWe will all be back :)

This is specific to Ray Sanchez. BE WARNED, do your research on him and look up his reviews at other places hes been. Dont be fooled by his talent, he doesnt do good business and has scammed many people. He took my $400 deposit and never followed through with the appointment or returned my emails. When I asked for a refund multiple times, he finally answered me and said he doesnt do refunds and that was that. He was super nice when it came to booking the appointment, but awful to deal with after. I personally know 4 people who he has taken deposits for and never did the work or even return their calls. There is a lawsuit in the works against him doing this to many others.

If I could give less stars, I would. I am experienced in the tattoo world as an apprentice. I got my 8th tattoo here and it was an awful experience. The staff were all friendly and professional. The shop seemed clean and professional. My friend and I got matching tattoos together, done by different artists. Their aftercare instructions were questionable, but still, we trusted their judgement. Not two days after getting our tattoos, they were blistering, burning, extremely sensitive, puffy, and red. Considering they were on our lower leg, above our ankle, they should not to hurt walk on, but they did. We are looking into getting our money back and we will not be returning to the shop.

My wife searched the valley far and wide and stumbled on Austin... Im a painter with over 20 years experience, and professional digital artist and now developer.I shadowed my wifes consultation as she tends to be impulsive (loves everything without really thinking) and Austins sample and stencil were simply... Extraordinary. As all good artists are she was a bit bullish; but that just made me sure that my wife was in good hands. She wasnt cocky, she was sure-- Confidence is never bad. I had tiny suggestions as a classical artist and Austin listened but made sure it was what my wife wanted. She ended up doing an extraordinary piece, she worked far off hours and stayed hours after closing and the result is... Simply breathtaking. If I could give Austin 10 stars I would. Her work is beautiful and this picture doesnt do it justice. But it is a work of art that will be adorned for a lifetime. Thank you Austin! (Were big in the humane society, large representatives in several dog recuse and have an unhealthy obsession with our fur babies. I cant stop staring at this work. Simply breathtaking)

They do great work its a pretty chill place just dont go in trying to be tough for your first tattoo and get in the ribs nobody wanta to see that. The tattoos Ive gotten are by far the best pieces of art I have ever gotten. They have managed to look fresh, even years later.
