We celebrated my boyfriends brothers birthday tonight! We had such a great time and the service was on point! Steve was the best host and made sure we had everything we need! He had great energy and checked on us throughout our 2hr session. Superman also made sure that the birthday boy had the best hatchets for our group photos!

Mike was a great axe master and awesome at showing us how to do it. He made us super comfortable and was very patient. I will be telling others to come to this location.

I had a wonderful time. Busy Saturday night, arrived at a little before 9 for a 9:15 throw time, sat about 10 minutes (on very nice leather couches :)) and then headed right back. They exceeded my expectations. 2 hours was more then enough time for multiple games and our ax master Rabbit made the experience much more enjoyable and fun. Great night out! We will definitely be doing this again and I will definitely be recommending to all my friends and family. The one negative (something that staff has no control over so it didnt not affect my 5 star rating) was smallish parking lot and with the size of the crowd, we ended up parking a lot over but it was absolutely worth it.

My fiancé and I went here recently and we had such a great time, mike was such a great help he turned us into pro axe throwers in 30 minutes. We loved every minute of it will definitely return very soon!!!!!

Had a great time throwing axes with Josh! He is extremely helpful and willing to help you master your throw. The facility was exceptionally clean. Josh cleaned and disinfected everything we used more times than I can count, and also had us take a few breaks to wash our hands. They had plenty of Clorox wipes and Lysol cans on hand. They are very well prepared to handle this virus during a time when people need to have some fun. Thank you!

This was my second time coming here. The atmosphere when you walk in feels like a mountain lodge. We got there about 15 minutes before our lane time and were greeted by Mark. We relaxed in the lounge area while we waited. Mark took the two of us back to the throwing lane. He was detailed in the safety briefing and in teaching us throwing techniques. He continued to give pointers and guidance throughout our session. We will definitely be back.

My family was bored so I planned this as a surprise adventure. We got to the Bensalem, PA location and my kids who are 21 and 18 were not all that excited about it....Until we started throwing axes! Chris was fantastic and kept it very fun. We played several different games like Blackjack (first to 21), Battleship (hitting pieces of paper taped to the board), and mega Jenga (lowest points must remove a Jenga piece.) My whole family loved the experience. So much so, my wife wants a Board in the basement. My daughter gave it a 10 out of 10. If you show up a little early the Philly Pretzel factory is right next door and they have outstanding Pretzles. Grab a few while you wait.

Awesome time spent with a work party, SUPERMAN was a great axe master and had us laughing the whole time. He was very helpful in getting our throws just right but still keeping it fun and competitive! Will definitely be coming back and asking for him! (Plus he’s got a pretty sick beard)

My friends and I went to Bury The Hatchet in Bensalem on Friday and it was our first time ever axe throwing and it couldnt have been better! From the moment we arrived we were greeted with friendly faces and taken care of. They put us with another group because we only had 4 people and there werent enough Axe Masters. We didnt like this at first but it turned out to still be a good time. We loved that it was BYOB because you can basically have your own little party going on while you wait for your turn. Our Axe Master was so friendly and patient with us because 2 of us were really bad and she kept letting us try again and assist us in throwing better. I loved the games that they had planned and it was honestly a great time! I would totally recommend this place for any parties or even just something new and different to do with friends on the weekend. I will be going back!

We had a great time! Our age group ranged from 16-64 and everyone loved it. We were the only people in the place. (We went during the Eagles play off game) glad we missed that :( I dont remember our guides name, but he was very informative & made the experience more fun with games! We will definitely be doing it again.

This is my 2nd time going. Everything about this place is great. The staff is friendly. The atmosphere is amazing.Our Axe Master JOSH was Awesome as usual! He made everyone feel welcomed and comfortable. We were a party of 11 this time. We all had a great time!! I’ll will Definitely go back again and we will ask for JOSH again to be our Axe master.

This was my first time trying axe throwing, and I was surprised at how much I loved it! My friend and I went on a Monday night (December 2nd), and Im glad we did because it was not crowded. Our instructor was Mark, AKA Superman, and he was awesome. He hung out with us the entire two hours we were there. Im not sure if that is normal procedure, or only because it was a slow night, but we really enjoyed his company. He was funny and friendly and very helpful teaching us the ropes. I would recommend Bury the Hatchet to anyone, and I cant wait to go back!

Mike the axhole was super awesome at being our ax advisor. He taught us all well so we all got the hang of it, making the experience really fun. He played games and interacted with us and gave us great tips through out the whole hour. I will definitely be back to throw axes here again!

He kept the energy high and really took the time to learn our names even though we were only there for a couple hours on what looked like a pretty hectic night. My husband loves to go axe throwing for his birthday, and this was our second time at Bury The Hatchett in Bensalem. Josh was our Axe Master, and he was great! He was able to reel in our rowdy teams and keep the action going while taking time with each of us to make sure we had the hang of it. Hey husband and I went on a Tuesday afternoon and had the place to ourselves! It was my first time going and I had a blast. Our axe master, Mike made it even more fun! He taught us techniques that would work for us and made the experience so much better! I can’t wait to go back!

Josh was our axe master and he was hilarious, and so helpful! Our group had the best time. I believe the managers name was Chris, and he stopped by to talked to us as well, and he was so friendly and knowledgeable. Could not recommend this place anymore highly. Dont be scared, I have no upper body strength and I killed it, give it a try!!

Went here for my friends birthday with a pretty big group of people. Was a new experience for most of the group and everyone had an amazing time including myself. Staff is energetic and always giving advice and tips on throwing axes. Our axe master was Kenny, he was awesome, he got us all energized and the competition brought some really good match ups. I can’t remember the name of another guy that works there but he has a huge beard and a man bun, dude took time out of his own match with friends to show us some different ways of throwing the axes in another lane. Definitely left a great impression and we’re planning to come out again already so I’d highly recommend this place for any kind of party or just a fun night out.

5 of us went for my husband’s 30th birthday last night.Chris was great getting us checked in and Shane our Axe Master was fantastic. Real good kid.He made it fun with the games he chose for us to play.The facility is super clean, bathrooms included.All around great experience. We will definitely be back to throw again :)If this review makes it to the GM Chris, Shane really did a great job hosting us last night!

Not only did we have a fantastic time. And we plan on bringing our work crews back as well to do a team building event. But the GM Chris, went above and beyond. I had left a headband there and they found it and are returning it. Cant wait to go back! Definitely reccomend going here if you have never been!

This was alot of fun! AJ was the best and truly made the experience alot of fun! Great for family outings! Highly recommended! You can bring your own food and beverage, they do provide water, plasticware, paper towels and picnic benches to watch the axe throwing. Fun place!

12 of us booked NYE 2019 and had a blast. Our instructor Josh was amazing. He was energetic, helpful and became a part of our group. He made an effort to know ya by name. I would absolutely recommend the facility and would surely go back again!!!

We had a great time throwing axes here. We arrived a bit early for our reservation but they were able to accommodate us. Mark showed us how to throw the axes at the targets properly and safely before setting us loose on a couple of games that really made our night a lot of fun. I highly recommend coming here (and checking on Groupon for a deal).

I went with my family, and we were the last group for Sunday night and it was not busy at all. We had the best time, and Steve was the best axe master we couldve asked for! We spent our last 30 minutes playing the most intense game of axe/jenga. Such an amazing time.

He was patient and helpful with the weaker throwers (some were really bad) and showed the good throwers trick shots.Special shout out to Ben, the manager. He was extremely helpful in resolving an issue for me. Ben kept following up with me until it was resolved.

Super Mark (mark) was a great axe master. Small party of four and we had the place to ourselves. He showed us how to properly throw and kept giving helpful hints along the way. He made it very entertaining. Played games, a tournament, and even learned how to throw underhand and backwards. Great time

Great time! Ive been axe throwing before a few times at Urban Axes, but this was my first time at Bury the Hatchet. Our axe master, Reggie, was so energetic and helpful. He really made sure everyone was having a good time and kept the competition going. Nice space, my only compliant is that the set up makes the room pretty noisy. We did go on a Saturday night so all lanes were full, just the way it is set up all the people are in the middle so there is a lot of noise. Other than that we had an awesome time and I would definitely recommend. Being BYOB is always a plus :)

I love this place. Its so much fun and such a great release of stress and aggravation. My Axe Master Steve was so awesome!! He had a few techniques up his sleeve that helped me to improve my throwing. He was so nice, kind and personable. His dad just happened to stop in and he was awesome as well.
