I wasnt at kendrick. I walked by it. Its actually a disgrace! The grounds need to be taken care of and shoveled In the winter. Do your job & take care of grounds!! Too much laziness I dont care attitude.

I work at this facility, and had utilized its programs for many years before that. Friendly staff and a myriad of programs and teams to enroll your child in.

It was amazing til this year with the Corona Covic-19.? Now its just a empty space.

Extremely poorly maintained softball fields. Bases have to be provided by the guest, and fields dont have hubs to attach them to, leaving them freely able to slide around on the extremely loose dirt. There are no outfield fences.

The. Rec, which is what you call Kendrick, if you grew up in Roxborough, has something to offer for people of all ages. Summer camp is offered, as well as, a variety of classes and activities, in every age group]. The Rec, is also home of a public pool, called the bathie. Life guards provide free swimming lessons.

Nice playground for the kids, basketball courts are good and they have a field if you wanna play baseball or soccer or to just run around

Great facility outside. Didnt look through the inside yet but the bathroom was decent for a playground facility.

If your doing something with groups like baseball or art classes in side or swimming in the summer all is fine. Other then that its a place to sell drugs and smoke weed.

Best places for womens flag football Saturday mornings September to december

Lots of space for various activities. Ample parking available too. I play soccer in a league there and my only complaint is the pitch condition. Oh, and watch out for the dog poop.

I swim here with my toddler. Its great to have a free outdoor public pool that is shaded by trees.

Was told by staff that the pool would be open on the 23rd and on the 24th I bring my children over only to see the doors are locked and no water in the pool.

Life guards are good and protective

The pool is well kept and its a great place to go on a hot summer day. Be sure you wear thick flip flops or water shoes as the stone floor gets very hot.

Good city rec with gymnastics for kids. Playground and ball fields. Outdoor pool in summer.

Took out 2 of the slides and are yet to be replaced but still a fun and local play ground and heard the pool has been improved

Philadelphia doesnt market their rec centers well. This place has programs for the family, a free (and very clean) pool in summer and youd think it was an old school that wasnt used.
