The Shieling Forest Learning Center is a well built, modern facility with kitchen, rest room, tables and chairs and handicap accessible. A secure, great place for non profit groups to meet, so long as you organize your event in advance with the NH State Park Facility Coordinators.The Peterborough Garden Club is grateful for the meeting place.We find the room very accommodating: super windows with shades if needed, great acoustics, big wall for a projector presentation, easy to set up tables & chairs, kitchen for our refreshments, clean restrooms. We follow the protocol to clean, vacuum and carry out our trash at every meeting.With much gratitude to all concerned in making this place available for our free public meetings, The Peterborough Garden Club of the Monadnock Region.

A wonderful trail. We got a little lost but it wasnt hard to find our way back.

Quiet, under utilized local stayed park. Easygoing loop trail that offers many hidden holes and caves for wildlife habitat. Additionally, the station offers many DIY classes and projects educating participants on land and wildlife management and conservation.

In desperate need of help. Trail markers missing and bridges in need of repair.
