A lovely nature preserve. The trail is nice and there is an outdoor nature play area for the kids

It was great. Kids had a wonderful experience outside at the exploring the ecosystem program.

Its a very nice clean park and a great window on wildlife. I wish it had some longer hiking trails; if you have young children there is no playground.

Pond, field, forest, flora and fauna and a great nature center with rental facility too!Walking trails are easy and short that circle the ponds and forest. Plenty of fish, birds, deer, flowers, etc. ADA friendly.Great educational programs for youth.Nature center has educational material, some animals, large rental facility which is GREAT for parties, receptions, etc.Clean and modern bathrooms.

Catch and release first youth, canoeing summertime on pond, check on days. Easy walks, public restrooms and clubhouse.

A well-maintained but very quaint park. Trails do not go over .52 miles so if you are looking for exercise, you might have to go around the park multiple times. Would be ideal for short walks or for those with physical limitations. Walking trails have nice footing and are wide, but not substantial enough for a meandering hike.

Phenomenal natural park!! Not great for little babies due to everything they can pick up & put in their mouth, but for any other ages it is a wonderful place to be active. Perfect for kids who need to be active & enjoy lifting, playing, & climbing outdoors. Also it has a really cool interactive area inside. Loved it! Be on the lookout for poison ivy though!

I love fishing here. Its been a go to spot of mine for about 8 years now. Love the little shelter house to fish off of. There used to be a big turtle right below it you could watch

Beautiful Spot to take a walk in! Falls are very accessible via stairs. Upper deck view is easier to get to if youre worried about the climb.

Always a joy to bring the kids here. Plenty inside for them to look at and a room aimed just to teach children about nature. A small library. Lots of stuffed animals to look at and see up close. Live turtles. A outdoor butterfly house. Trails. A pond for walking around or fishing. Great little park tucked away off River Rd. Only downfall-NO PLAYGROUND FOR THE KIDS.

This is a beautiful park that a friend told me about. So many features. You just have go to see it. There is a little room with books and chairs, real time bird sounds, a turtle and interesting facts all around. There are nature trails around water and woods. It is a diverse and interesting place to get your steps in.

The reserve is a great place to disappear into nature for a little while; either walking the trails or fishing the ponds. The park is always clean and well kept.

Love this place. As a local photographer not only is the outdoor options amazing, having the covered porch and indoor building makes for a great alternative.

I absolutely love W.W. Knight Nature Preserve! We went there a couple of times for a series of classes called Preschoolers In The Park, where a ranger teaches kids age 3-5 about different outdoor stuff like how to be prepared in nature and how to identify different animals. The ranger was knowledgeable and great with the kids and the preserve is beautiful with tons of flora and fauna to explore. To put the proverbial icing on the cake the nature center is a beautiful, comfortable place to learn.We will certainly be back!!

Nice quiet park to walk at

The womens bathroom was flooded from commode not working. Otherwise it was great. Nice setting for a get together.

Each time I have been to this nature preserve it was for a special event. The banquet space can hold up to a hundred people indoors with air conditioning and a partial kitchen available to bring in your own catering. It also has a patio attached to the indoor banquet area. Always clean and the rangers are very helpful it is also handicap accessible

Wonderful park with great walking trails! There is plenty of wildlife to see and the boardwalk is a nice touch as well. The facilities here are top notch and beautiful, with activity rooms for kids and bird watching rooms. Definitely a must visit park!

Beautiful place to take the puppies for a walk

Simply beautiful with a lovely scenic nature view. The building is clean and tastefully crafted, which offers a unique alternative to the typical closed- in venues. We used it for my nature loving husbands memorial service and with a few personal decorations, couldnt have asked for a more perfect setting.

Beautiful park and grounds. They have a disc golf course which is fun. When we went it was muddy but still have a great time. Its beautiful right by the dam.

The trails are peaceful and the property is well maintained. The room rental is beautiful and clean. Everything about this place is amazing!

W. W. Knight Nature Preserve is a fantastic place for young people to experience nature and adults to enjoy scenic views. There are several small trails to walk along including two large boardwalk areas and bridges. There is youth and family fishing area that is open to guest 17 years and younger, and adults may only fish with youth. There are also a few small covers along the trail for kids to peek under and look for bugs, worms, snakes and other small wildlife.The Nature Center also offers several other areas for kids to experience and explore nature, including a very nice bird viewing area. There are also a few smaller rooms for crafts, stories, and programs that are put on throughout the year. Additionally, there is a great room that is available to rent and is popular for wedding receptions, banquets, and special events.

We enjoyed the nice paths to walk around. The preserve is committed to reclaiming the Black Swamp environment. Including bringing back the natural animal species.

Very pretty park. It has a mixture of wetlands and woods with several walking trails. Be sure to check out the Nature Center and the wildlife observatory. A great place for both outdoor exercise and quiet reflection.

There is a room with comfortable chairs and some bird identification books to use while watching the birds at the feeders.
