Quiet, rustic, river-side area with ducks, geese, comarons, herons, egrets, white tail deer, and the occasional osprey and bald eagle. Great fishing spot during the spring walleye run. Catfish and small mouth bass all year.

Decent little city park campground in a safe small town. Sites are tightly packed with zero seclusion, and the highway noise was exceptionally loud. Clean pit toilets, maintained sites and campground, and a cheap $10 fee balanced it out. Nothing special as far as a destination, but perfect if you are passing through and just need a place to rest for a night or two.

Great place had a very enjoyable day fishing.

I know the destruction was massive, you did a great job getting it opened. I hope the campground will be opened for the fourth of July, my wife loves this place we celebrate her being cancer free every year. I love coming here and enjoying the River.. my favorite thing to do is drink my coffee and listen to Nature. If anyone wants to join me Im usually there in morning s drinking my coffee and picking up litter

Quiet place to fish or daydream...A decent 4x4 can get you pretty close to the river. But not sure if thats legal here so take your chances.

Very nice area to come and relax. There is access to the river there is plenty of parking too. There are large well maintained soccer fields and other fields for many activities. Tucked away from the road, its nice and isolated back away from the road. I enjoy bringing my kids here to enjoy the Serene landscape and take in nature

Little bit of a hike from side cut park to the other side of Buttonwood island but well worth the effort

Every time Ive tried to visit over the years it has been closed due to flood damage. Ill reevaluate my review if Im ever actually able to get in.

Temporarily closed. River come out of its bank wiped all of the lots out. Were very few lots to begin with did not stay there, would not stay there. May 18th 2019.

The spring ice jam and high waters have really chewed up the trees and landscape. Camping area is closed.

Very quiet nice little park to camp at. It is hard to find little spots like these for under $15.00 when traveling the East Coast. Had a clean port-a-potty and hopefully the money helps. Sorry no pics.

GREAT camping sites. Love the $10 fee. Super close to river and nice sized field to use.

Basic camping. Port-a-potty as facilities. Bring your own firewood.
