Nice mile long trail through the wetlands in Pearland. The information spots along the way were a definite plus and a great place to learn about the wetlands. (The last star would be for the repair of those boards. Theyre starting to get a bit worn)

I love it here! I just wish the trail was longer. I saw a snake and a beautiful rabbit hopping around. I actually see a rabbit everytime I go. I love the trees and wild life. I wish it was a bit closer to my home but its not too far. I plan to run here atleast twice a week. Oh and the other runners here are friendly too. Nice spot!

Well kept nature trail with informative displays along the trail which is paved. The trail includes an observation tower affording you an opportunity to see a far distance and observe the flora and fauna. We saw many varieties of birds mostly. Also an abundance of rabbits. The displays along the way showed pictures of just about everything that could be seen, so that was very helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The entire trail is a little over a mile and a half on the paved portion and definitely worth seeing.

This was a really nice walking trail. I took my 3 years old son and we walked the entire path. My only disappointment was that there was a significant lack of wildlife.

It is a very nice place to walk, but I think bicycles should not be allowed there as the sidewalk is only big enough for 2 people.

Its free, its outdoors, what more could you want?

Its kind of just a concrete pathway through some tall grass right now. It does have a decent observation deck overlooking the marsh, but there are rarely many animals to see. All of the wooded area where the deer were is gone now. There are some nice information stations though and it is a good place to relax or take a walk (about 1.5 miles to the end and back). My wife and I used to ride our bikes there, but you either have to stop and turn around at the end near the wastewater treatment plant, or continue onto the sidewalk in front of the apartments crossing two driveways and then into the street because the sidewalk ends.

I was really impressed with this little stroll through the wetlands. Not too happy about the apartment complex going up behind it.I’ve seen deer, coyotes, rabbits, lots of birds and snakes here!!

So very happy to find this Animal Reserve place off the hustle of apartment city area off the bustling busy Shadow Creek Parkway, more like speedway. More wooded Wildlife Areas needed around the city of Pearland with all the waterways. Other areas of Shadow Creek Ranch are absolutely wonderful + excellant in this respect. Generally west side of Pearland needs more neighborhoods where they havent cut down every living thing. Older trees + natural vegetation is what draws people with a conscience for nature + beauty.

Well if you make it to the end you have to turn around and go back the same way. It would be nice if they made it a loop and connected it to nearby trails. Also watch out for off leash dogs.*Edit. -I’m very excited about the new construction going on with this trail. It appears they are extending the path, connecting it to nearby trails and providing access points to make it more usable. So much to see here and the fact that Pearland is a bird sanctuary makes it even more interesting and beautiful.Looking forward to more progress in this project and the surrounding parks and recreation in this area.

Great park that I didnt know existed until I passed by it one day. One note is that you cant just keep walking down the trail. You have to stop at some point and go back the same way you came (or else youll dead end to 518).

Very nice hidden gem. A short walk that gives you an image of Pearland before it was developed. There are stops along the trail that teach you about the areas local ecosystem. Visit for a nice nature walk. Good concrete sidewalk path with accessible parking at entrance. No water fountains. Rest areas available along trail with benches.

The good -Simple linear trail. Wetland birds can be found here, and lots of wild flowers. Lots of signs and info about wildlife. The bad -Trail ends along a creek with a waste water treatment plant visible (and smell-able) near the end. Few trash receptacles, and the dog poop bag dispenser is more often empty then full.

Nice sidewalk! As you walk from the parking lot on Kingsley, there are benches periodically with signs that teach you about local flora and fauna. The sidewalk ends in a less picturesque setting behind an apartment complex on Shadow Creek Parkway, but worth the trek nonetheless.

Visited this trail after 2 years and things have changed. First thing I noticed was the new sign at the start of the trail near the parking lot. Second the signs along the trial that feature nature and animal facts and information are now really worn out/down due to the sunlight and weather. It’s very quite here.
